    Hi, Chef P!
    Just wanted to fill you in on the menu I planned for the June catering event....
    It's a private party, a birthday dinner.....

    Chicken Cordon Bleu with cream sauce
    Asparagus
    Stuffed sweet bell peppers (stuffed with onions, Cherry tomatoes, corn niblets, peas, and shrimp)
    Cole slaw
    Roasted baby potatoes

    Dessert a friend of mine is making......

    Just wanted to see what you think .. does it sound good enough; should I add or remove anything?
    I would appreciate your advice!

    Hi Chief,
    I want to thank you for viewing my recipes and all of the high ratings that you gave them. It is true that there is a lot of undercutting going on here but for every bad person there are at least 100 good ones. Sometimes a kid will stumble upon the site and go on a rampage. The only bad thing is that we don't know who's doing it because if someone gives you a 1 and I think a 2 rating, their avatar doesn’t show up, just their low rating. Anyway we just learn to live with it because it is truly such a great site.

    I hope you have a good day and enjoy all the good here at Group Recipes.

    Chef P ---- thank you so very much for your comments, kind remarks, and great ratings. I REALLY appreciate it, coming from you, as I gather you have been a Chef for some time.
    Regarding the question you asked me about 'was I always a Chef' -- the answer is no--- I have always loved cooking and baking, but became a nurse in 1974..... remained so until about 2 1/2 years ago. I got burned out, professionally, and then decided to take the pro route on cooking.
    I am so glad you joined this site, Chef Periwinkle --- but please --take NO offense ------- that isn't your real name, is it?

    Your face looks so familiar, too.

    Love fruit and cheese together - what an excellent idea to bake it on a pizza crust with a layer of fruit preserves. I have printed this off so we can try a small pizza for dessert one night. I'm thinking the leftovers would be good cold as well. Thank you for sharing your creation...Krum
