We had such a great weekend in Berkeley, California celebrating our oldest sons graduation. The past four years have just flown by! Benjamin graduated with a degree in Linguistics from U. C. Berkeley.
He's accomplished SO much, but isn't quite done. He will take a class this summer and two this fall and graduate again in December with a second degree in Spanish Linguistics. We could not be more proud of this young man!
Several family members were able to attend, the boys pictured here with their Yaya.
We had many celebrations over the weekend and lots of meals.
He might have been a little excited with the updated version of his Mac Book Pro he received for high school graduation.
Nicholas has one year under his belt at University of Utah and will take a couple of classes this summer before coming home for a few weeks. It was fun to see him be so happy for his brother.

Hi Becky!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on Benjamin's great accomplishment of graduating from UC Berkley! That is a tough school to get into and I'm sure he worked very hard for four years! What will he be doing with his degree? I took a linguistics course at the University of Michigan and it was fascinating.
He's not sure just yet. Google Translate, Amazon or Apple are high on his list.
DeleteCONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!! I don't know what goes faster - 4 years of HS or 4 years of College...You must be so very proud!! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That was a fast four years...I remember when you posted about him beginning college! Best of luck to him.

ReplyDeleteThank you! Beautiful weather and a beautiful weekend - it went too fast. Go Bears!
¡Buena suerte!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeena!
