Welcome to the North Pole

Hello, crafty friends! Who says you have to wait until December to embrace the holiday spirit? Cynthia here, thrilled to share my latest handmade card, designed to bring a touch of Christmas cheer into your summer days!

I crafted this card using the Octagon Dies, Octagon Christmas Add Ons, Word Bubble Dies, Large Glasses Diem and Candy Cane Lane. I used a red plaid background and chose some gold glitter cardstock to frame the square card.

I added a glittered holly sticker and added it to the jingle bell in Santa’s hat. I also colored up his beard with Copic Markers in Cool Gray tones. I added some pink chalk for his rosy cheeks and white Gel pen to add some twinkles in his eyes.

Why wait for the snow to start falling? Embrace the spirit of the season now and get inspired to create. After all, Christmas is right around the corner!

Happy crafting, and may your August be as joyful as a winter wonderland!

Wishing You an Egg-Celent Easter

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing a card using a few of my favorite dies as the Easter season approaches! I love the soft but vibrant colors of springy and I chose a pastel color palette when creating this project.

I created a blue Easter basket with traditional colored eggs, grass, and a chocolate bunny.  I added some lace to the patterned paper background  to showcase the basket and added the sentiment with the coordinating outline dies to finish the card!

Happy Easter to My Favorite Chick

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing an Easter card in preparation for the holiday! I enjoy mixing and matching dies and sentiments, especially when they are all so fun to put together!

I created an A2 card using the Octagon Dies: Easter Add Ons to die cut the chick shape, the bunny ears, and bow tie. I added some darker shadows using Distress Ink to add some definition to the dies. I stamped a matching sentiment from the recently released set called Easter Tweetings and used the coordinating Outline Dies. I used some chalk to add some blush to the chickie’s cheeks to finish off the card!

Super easy and quick but so fun!

A Little Bit Of Happy Mail!

Hi everyone! Von Marie here on the Blog and I have a fun project to share with you today using some of my favorite Jaded Blossom Stamps, Dies, and Stencil.

Do you love to send Happy Mail? I absolutely love to send Happy Mail to my crafty friends.  I was able to mass produce these cards and envelopes in no time using the Random Envelope Stencil, Special Delivery, Funny Mail 3, Happy Mail, Octagon Dies, Card Mat Dies, and Scallop Rectangle Dies 2.  I first started out using the stencil onto some white heavy weight cardstock using a dome brush and Dye inks. I love these colors, they remind me so much of Spring.  I then die cut some stitched rectangles from my stenciled backgrounds .

I  then used the octagon dies using some left over scraps from my stenciled pieces and some Kraft paper for my layers.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment and glued my octagon layers together with a stamped and heat embossed envelope.  I added matching heart images that I stamped with the coordinating matching ink and added some sparkle.  I then added hemp twine bows and clear sparkling sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  I glued my panels onto Scalloped kraft rectangles, and then to A2 top folding card bases.  I thought it was fun to stamp and heat emboss the envelopes too.

Here is the inside of my cards that  is stamped with matching ink and says "Way Better Than an Email" with a cute happy face.  I hope you like my cards for today.  Thank you for stopping by!
