Happy Birthday

 

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing a birthday card using some of the previously released die and stamp sets. One of my crafty goals this year is to create more birthday cards so that I can actually send them to friends and family! The cards I make sit tucked away in my craft room but never shared. This year will be different!

Today, I created this birthday card using the following sets:

 Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons, Girl Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies Birthday Add Ons, Valentine Gnome Faces, Slimline Dies, So Many Birthdays, Word Bubble Dies

I chose a black and white background for this card for a neutral base. I die cut the basic gnome shape in tan cardstock and die cut her hair with a dark brown shade of the same carsdtock pack. I grounded her on some die cut grass. I chose some bright colorful patterned papers for her party hat and balloons. stamped her face, and added some chalk for her blush.  I stamped a birthday sentiment on a word bubble and she is done!

 Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing a Birthday Card using one of my favorite stencils. The Sunflower stencil is great for covering a whole card with lots of color in no time! Perfect DIY patterned cardstock! 

I chose nontraditional Distress Oxide colors for the flower. I used blues and greens for the petal layers and yellows and oranges for the center. Distress Oxide inks are so buttery and when applied with a makeup brush.

I stamped one of the birthday sentiments from So Many Birthdays 5 and used the coordinating outline to die cut the sentiment. I layered some matching geometric patterned papers and added a button with twine to finish off this card. Super quick and easy!

Confetti Cupcake

 Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Larelyn from Handmade From My Heart.  Today is my design team day here on the blog.

Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday and she decided she wanted a confetti cake - go figure!

Well I'm not a cake maker but I knew I could make her a special card.

Here's her confetti cupcake gift card.  I hope she likes it.

(BtW, she is NOT a kid, she is an adult who is a kid at heart!)

I started with the Card Mat Die and added a layer with the Stitched Circle Dies. Then I layered some flowers from the Flower Dies and Tropical Dies. I stamped a sentiment from So Many Birthdays 5 to the Flag Dies 2. I finished off the card with some sequins.

Sunflower Birthday Card

Happy Monday my crafty friends!!

Today I am sharing a birthday card I made for my daughter.

Today happens to be her birthday!!

 I just love the farmhouse vibe I get from this card!!

Since her birthday is at the end of summer, I always think of sunflowers!!

The new "Sunflower Stencil Set" made a beautiful background.

I cut out the background layer using the "Card Mat Dies".

I created the border strip using the "Border Dies" for the scallop edging and glued

them onto the backside of some chocolate brown cardstock.

I embossed the sentiment from "So Many Birthdays 5" with gold embossing powder.

Lastly I added a sunflower that I created using the "Flower Dies".

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a birthday card with you!

I created a clean and simple card today with the Card Mat Dies! I stamped the smaller flower from the Blossom set in rainbow colors on the side and added the sentiment from So Many Birthdays 5 to the card! I finsihed off the card with some irridescent bubbles in the center of the flowers.
