My Sewing and Quilting Adventures

Big sale at my Etsy shop for Labor day. The sale starts today and ends September 2nd at Midnight. I am slowing drawn to my first passion of sewing clothes/garments and have a ordered a bunch of Voile and Knit fabrics. Some are listed in the shop and others at my my shop Instagram file. I have been thinking of ordering some new fabrics and would love your input. I love  these two fabric collections, Lotus Pond from Cloud9Fabrics and Indelible from Art Gallery Fabrics. Cloud9Fabrics Lotus Pond by Rae Hoekstra(Rae of Made by Rae) Art Gallery Fabrics Wow, this is a really tough one. So many good fabric collections. My current favorite is "Indelible" by Katarina Roccelle . Not sure if everyone else like this collection as much as I do. The colors are just vibrant and you can't go wrong with art gallery fabrics. I have seen the quilts/pillows made of this collection   and they look fabulous. What are you other favorites from Art Gallery Fabrics? Fabric de-stash Over the past 3 years I have accumulated lots of fabric and I need to de-stash some to make room for new fabrics. I am really excited to share the news that Malini's Quilt Co. is an official business in Massachusetts :-). Yippie! Skippie! I am not sure what this means or where its going to take me. But just wanted to explain what my main goals are. My main goal of the company to is to sell modern quilt patterns at both Etsy and Craftsy through their instant PDF download. Since, I already had a Etsy shop, it will be easier to get started there. Craftsy, I would have to figure out how I can upload my patterns once I have my shop setup. I hope that is pretty soon. What can you expect from my shop : 1. Modern quilt patterns 2. Organic Quilting fabrics 3. Kids quilting fabrics 4.
