I Love Coffee Collage Canvas with Emerald Creek Rock Candy


Hello everyone! Today I am celebrating Coffee!!! I love Coffee, the smell, the taste, cold or hot...it is the best! I am sharing a step out tutorial on  how to create your very own coffee mixed media canvas. Don't worry...if you aren't a coffee lover, do tea or change the idea up completely but more than anything enjoy the technique. 


Begin by adhering a few pieces of corrugated paper to the top of a 5" x 7" canvas. Dry brush White Titanium, Burnt Sienna and Yellow Oxide to top making sure that each layer dries.


Stamp beans from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies Fireside Stamp Set to prepared canvas using black ink and bean stamp.


Repeat with coffee rings from the Blends Stamp Set. Paint each set of the beans using ColorBox Nutmeg Blends Ink. Apply ink to craft sheet; mist with water and paint with paintbrush.


Die cut Ring String using white card stock. Apply embossing ink to top. Emboss with Rock Candy Embossing Powder.


Die cut Stack Deckle from white card stock. Apply embossing ink and Rock Candy Embossing Powder to top.


Stamp Coffee Sign stamp to white card stock using embossing ink; emboss with Onyx Frost Embossing Powder. Ink over top with ColorBox Blends Ink.


Stamp cup from Fireside Stamp set with black ink. Apply ColorBox Blends ink to craft sheet; mist with water. paint cup. Dry.


Add Rock Candy Embossing Powder to cup.


Adhere frame and cup to canvas.


Apply embossing ink to top of metal button; add Rock Candy Embossing Powder. Heat Set. I hope you try your hand at creating a fun and easy mixed media canvas. Enjoy! Pam

Christmas Polka Canvas with Rock Candy Embossing Powder - Emerald Creek Supplies


Hi to all of our fabulous Emerald Creek Supply fans!
Are you ready for a "Christmas Polka" using the fabulous Emerald Creek Supplies Christmas Polka Stamp along with Emerald Creek Supplies Rock Candy! 


Stamp the Christmas Polka  image on to 5" x 7 " canvas using black archival ink. 
Add embossing ink to a chipboard circle that fits round the stamped image. Apply Emerald Creek Supplies Caramel Rock Candy to the top of the chipboard circle and emboss. While embossing powder is still hot sprinkle more of the Emerald Creek Supplies Caramel Rock Candy here and there on the wreath. Cool and adhere circle to canvas. 


Dab embossing ink on the edges of canvas and on top of the prepared embossed chipboard. Add Emerald Creek Supplies Peppermint Rock Candy; heat with embossing fun to melt. While embossing powder is still warm add sprinkles of the Peppermint  Rock Candy Embossing Powder and heat to continue melting. Repeat with Limeade and Carmel Rock Candy Embossing Powder around and on embossed circle. 


Die cut dear from chipboard; apply embossing ink to top. Add Caramel Rock Candy Embossing Powder to top; heat with embossing gun. While embossing powder is still hot apply more of the Caramel Rock Candy Embossing Powder and continue to heat  to melt the powder. Cool. Twine around the neck of prepared dear; adhere to canvas.

Blessed Canvas with Southern Ridge Trading Company

Begin by inking pattern paper to place on top of  a 6" x 6" canvas. Adhere to canvas.


Draw around oval shape of Southern Ridge Trading Company Elegant Vintage Flourish Frame to pattern paper; trim to fit oval with scissors. Adhere to top of Elegant Vintage Flourish Frame; add pattern paper scallop borders and strip to center of prepared Elegant Vintage Flourish Frame.



Adhere prepared Elegant Vintage Flourish Frame  to center of prepared frame. 



Paint Southern Ridge Trading Company Blessed Fun Word and  Fall Leaves with white paint; dry.


 Embossed prepared pieces with Rock Candy Embossing Powders.


Adhere prepared leaves to top of canvas.


Adhere prepared Blessed to top of prepared canvas.


Adhere more of the prepared embossed fall leaves along with flowers and twine bow to prepared canvas.

Thankful Heart Mixed Media

Boo Mixed Media Canvas with Deco Art Americana Paints - Tutorial


BOO TO YOU!!!
Let's get our paint on today!!


Begin by painting a 6 x 6 canvas using DecoArt Americana paints. 
Blend paints together while they are wet using paint brush to create the greens and hues of white and blues. 


Stamp background image with DecoArt Americana Carbon Black Paint. Dry


Prep chipboard pumpkin and scary cat chipboard with Carbon Black and Titanium White Paint. 


Apply DecoArt One Step Crackle Paint; dry. 


Apply DecoArt Americana paint to each of the prepared chipboard pieces; dry.


Lay a small circle stencil on prepared canvas; apply DecoArt Media Modeling paint to top with palette knife. Dry
Stamp background image with Titanium White paint. Dry


Paint chipboard "Boo" with Carbon Black paint; dry. 
Adhere to top of  prepared canvas. 
Dry brush Titanium White paint to top of prepared "Boo". Dry
Add small metal Halloween hand charm to "Boo". 
Add wire hanger. 


Adhere prepared pumpkin and cat to canvas.
Add metal spiders to pieces. 


Add twine bow to prepared cat.

Drifting Feathers Mixed Media Fall Canvas with Southern Ridge Trading Company


FALL...
official is in a few days!
 Blowing leaves, cooler weather, sweaters, coats and  "drifting feather" as birds fly south for the winter!


Let's start the celebration with creating a mixed media canvas celebrating "drifting feathers"!
Begin by apply the 6 x 6 pattern paper to top of canvas. 


Lay stencil on top of prepared canvas; apply white crackle paste to top of stencil. Dry. 


Adhere Southern Ridge Trading Company Fish Net Pattern  to top of prepared canvas. 


Apply embossing powder to top of each feather; heat emboss. 


Adhere prepared feathers to top of canvas. 


Adhere bow to top of feathers. 


Adhere flowers around top of feathers. 


Adhere a corner from Southern Ridge Trading Company Demask Corners pack to canvas.
