Paper Secrets Guest Designer using Fancy Pants Park Bench

Welcome today to my second Guest Design Team project for Paper Secrets...thank you so much for inviting me to share my work and thank you for such lovely sketches to be inspired from. Today I am using Park Bench from Fancy Pants and I just  love the sketch...I think it is because of the flags and "freedom" cards.
I used a photo of one of my grand daughters as the focus of my layout but she is so "Amazing" and that is why I had to add the "freedom" card to the layout. I just love all the sentiments of the collection that really makes my layout so special because our Annie Girl is special to us.
I love the little flags I created, they are 1" x 2" and I just cut the "v" with my precision scissors. I tip the ends up using a pair of tweezer, just wrap the ends around to make them look like they are blowing. I added a few Epiphany Epoxy Circles to my page...one is on top of a sticker that came with the kit...
I used the Love Freedom Card to make a pocket from for a hidden journal block. I added a Fiskars Scallop Border behind the card as well as to the side of the Amazing Freedom Card prior to placing them on the page.
I made a fun scallop flower by punching out 3 different size scallops, misting them, wading them up, opening and giving them shape. Make sure they are dried completely before you place them on your layout. I put a small brad in the center of mine before placing it to the front on my layout. I added a couple of fun stick pins to finish the layout. I hope  you stop by Paper Secrets....check out their blog for amazing inspiration and the store to see some fabulous products. Hugs Pammejo

Celebrate Card with We R Memory Keepers and Inspired by Stamping

Wow...Fourth of July celebrations are right around the corner...are you getting ready. I am in the process of making Fourth of July Cards and decorations since the weekend will be here before we know it. Today I want to share with you a card using We R Memory Keepers Old Glory Papers and the Just Because Sentiment set with the Fancy Circle stamp set from Inspired by Stamping. I made my card by first corner chomping my card base and top papers with my We R Memory Keepers Deco Corner Chomper. I then added a couple of matted pieces to the top of my card before I added my fussy cut flags to the top with red twine and bling...I placed them on with pop dots. I stamped my circle and sentiment on a piece of the pattern paper using black Memento ink, fussy cut it out and placed the circle to the top of the border with pop dots. I added a Epiphany Star and a fussy cut star to the circle and banner. I hope you try adding dimensions and layers to your projects. Hugs Pammejo

Valentine Box using the Cameo and Bo Bunny

I made my first project on my Silhouette Cameo a year ago, it is a fun candy box. I just thought it was just to cute and had to reshare it since your are still able to get the image. I used some Bo Bunny Valentine paper that I had. The Valentine image is in the library of the Cameo, what makes it so fabulous is you can make it any size you want it to be, that is as long as it will fit on your paper. (I know I plan to use just the front of it as a card.)

I had to navigate a square on my computer to the front of the bag on the Silhouette Cameo to make a window so you could see into the bag. I placed a piece of acetate inside the bag so my candies would fall out

I added some of the black heart paper from Bo Bunny behind the large heart at the top to give my bag some depth, along with framing out the window and placing paper behind the small hearts at the bottom of the bag. I added some ribbon that I purchased from my local craft store and of course had to add a Epiphany Heart Charm with some black twine to the top of the box. I hope if you have a Cameo that you try the dimensional images from the Silhouette Store or maybe some other SVG files. Hugs Pammejo

Warm Wishes!!!!  As we come into the last week before Christmas we need to think of sending out warm wishes to all we come in contact with. The Color Challenge  today with Scrapbook News and Review today is using hues of blue and brown. My card I hope captures the look of the inspiration. I decided to use the wavy lines to capture the movement of the circles, also the paper I feel gives the grasp of the hues of brown and blue.

Wish Card - Color Inspiration

Today is "Color Inspiration" on the SNR blog and I would like to share the card I made. The base of my card is Little Yellow Bicycle "Once Upon a Christmas", love the hounds tooth look of the paper it reminded me of the night sky of the inspiration of this photo.
I added Washi tape to the the front of the card but it actually goes over the fold and down the back. Doesn't it look like the lights in the background.
Here is a closer look at the Stampendous Snowman that I colored with Copic Markers. The background of the tag is a Memory Box stamp. My fun charm is made with an Epiphany Charm and Bauble, tied together with a few jewelery beads and some red twine. I hope you try your had at the inspiration piece and visit Scrapbook News and Review. Hugs Pammejo
SUPPLIES: Stampendous Snowman Stamp, Memory Box Wish Stamp, Epiphany circle punch and bubble, Washi Tape, Little Yellow Bicycle black houndstooth paper.

You Are My Sunshine Card and Sketch with SNR

Today is a sketch that is being shown on Scrapbook News and Review Blog. I hope you enjoy my take on it and try making a card yourself with the sketch, just remember to always give the sketch designer credit. Today sketch designer is Lucy Chesna Designs.
I used American Craft Fresh Squeezed Collection to make You Are My Sunshine Happy Birthday Card. You Are My Sunshine piece is actually a recipe card that I that I attached my gift card to the front of. I made a pocket to the front of my card my just gluing the two sides and bottom of the paper piece that I had decorated to the front of the card.
I added an accordion flower that I placed an epoxy flower over a lemon circle using an Epiphany Punch. The "happy" is part of a paper strip and the "birthday" comes off of a SRM Sticker. I also added some ribbon to the front of my card, to my recipe card and stapled them on with my tiny attacher. Try looking at your paper stash to see what unique items you can use to make your gift cards become apart of. Hugs Pammejo

Love Struck Valentine Cards - Fast and Easy!!!

If you are looking for some fast and easy cards to make -you can't fail using the We R Memory Keepers Love Struck Collection. Just a couple of pieces of paper and you can make several beautiful cards. I love the bright colors of the collection. I made two to share with you today but if you jump down to my post on Jan 14th you will see some mini's and a container that I made using the same paper collection.
If you are a regular visitor to my blog you know how much I love making these flowers. I can't help myself I just love making them they are so simple, require no die cuts or machines. Just tear and roll, my kind of creating. LOL I also love the distress look that can stay clean and fresh, don't you?
For my second card I just covered my card base, added a tag to front.
Added some ribbon and tied into a bow, used one of the new Epiphany Crafts #25 Heart Charms with a #25 Bubble Cap to the top of it to my ribbon using some pink twine from My Minds Eye to give my card a little depth. Thanks for stopping by today. Hugs Pammejo

Valentine Hop - Jan 14/15

Do you feel it....the crisp air, some may be getting snow in their locations but "LOVE" is in the air and today we are sharing some Valentine inspiration with you to start celebrating the coming holiday. I made a lovely Valentine Mine Card and Tags container for my project today.
I used the We R Memory Keepers Love Struck Collection for my project and a small 4 x 4 plastic pink box container that is perfect for my project. SO.....if you came by to see what was happening today I would encourage you to go to Beyond Scrappin' Blog to join us in our Valentine Hop. I am sure the talented Nicolette would love for you to come hop along with us and if you came from the creative Leslie of Leslie Rahye Blog then you are heading in the right direction.
NOW.... back to my project, I love to fussy cut so I took some of the paper and cut the flowers from the sheets and added to my box top, once I had everything on the top of the box (buttons, bows, gemstones, etc) then I added Glossy Accent and set it to one side so it would have a chance to dry. I love Glossy Accent, if you have never tried it I would encourage you to do so, it is a wonderful adhesive but to use it over your embellishments is just amazing. Most importantly it is an inexpensive way to give your projects depth.
Tag 1 - I distressed my card front using my Tim Holtz distress tool, inked the edges, added some pink ric rac along with a Vintage Edition Bottle cap. The flower in the center of the bottle cap is a flower that I fussy cut out and place in the center.
Tag 2 - I have two pieces of paper that are layered after they have been distressed and ink. I made a paper ribbon from a 1/2" strip of matching paper, stapling into place and using pop dots placed the Sweet Love Birds in their nest on the front of the card.
Tag 3 - I punched out 3 different size circles from my Marvy Scallop punches, wrinkled them up, un-wrinkled them, did a little inking and layered them on top of each other. The center of the flower is an Epiphany 1/2" clear circle, what a fabulous new set of punches. They are a must have for all of us scrapbookers.
Tag 4 - I fussy cut the Be My Valentine from a piece of the collection and added it to the top of my card that I had wrapped with Pink Twine and a Heart Charm from Epiphany Crafts.
I made these two sweet tags using my Marvy Tag Punch, did a little decorating with pieces of the Love Stuck papers and added some of the 1/2" circle Epiphany Crafts. What I like most about my project is that it is a wonderful gift that I can give to some one for Valentine's Day and they are so versatile that one can use them for a gift, on a bag or just give a card. I hope you have enjoyed my project, feel free to follow my blog and if you have made any mini's please feel free to share your blog and post so we can all go and get some ideas. Now on to the next stop on the hop and that is with our fabulous Anita over at
Anita's and Bugs Blog. Hugs Pammejo
