For many, Harry Potter was an important part of childhood - bringing magic, wonder, laughs, and a few tears. Although there have been other additions to the Wizarding World, nothing has quite met the love that the original movie series gathered.

Fans have been dying for more context about the beloved movie series and for more interactions between the castmates. Luckily, HBO Max granted this wish with a 20th-anniversary reunion that brought back some favorite characters. At the heart of the reunion was, of course, Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, and Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley.

Seeing the trio back together again delighted fans, and some of what was said during their interviews has reignited old interest in certain Harry Potter scenes.

Specifically, the kissing scenes.

Although there were additional kiss scenes in the movies with other couples (Harry and Ginny, Harry and Cho), the slow buildup of Ron and Hermione's relationship over the years made it the most anticipated kiss of the series.

This anticipation paid off, and fans were granted an epic first kiss in the Chamber of Secrets - granted, a seemingly odd choice of venue, but it worked better than you'd expect.

You'd think having to kiss someone you consider a brother (naked and covered in silver paint to boot) would be the most awkward scene to film in the series. But apparently not...
