The 20 Most Powerful Anime Vampires Of All Time, Ranked

When most people think about powerful anime vampires, Alucard is the first one to come to mind. He works for Hellsing, a vampire-slaying organization, because annihilating his own kind gives him the chance to flex his substantial strength. 

We can't list all of his powers, but here are a few choice ones: He can ignore the effects of gravity, control the weather, control other people's souls by drinking their blood, teleport, hypnotize, shape-shift, and use telekinesis. He's not even subject to standard vampire weaknesses like sunlight - he can walk around during the daytime with no repercussions. 

D is a dhampir - that is, a half-vampire, half-human. He spends his time hunting down members of the Nobility, a group of vampires who have overtaken humanity. He's considered to be one of the strongest vampires in the series. 

He has a wide range of more basic powers like superhuman strength and the ability to regenerate himself, but he also has some unique powers like the ability to warp reality to his will and the ability to turn others into his servants by biting them. 

Shalltear Bloodfallen is a vampire and floormaster who was created by Peroroncino. Like a lot of characters in Overlord, she's totally OP. As a Level 100 fighter, her stat total is a staggering 732. 

She can execute a wide range of spells, which include one that turns other people into vampires, one that converts all damage done to her into health, and one where she forms a giant weapon that can track her target with perfect accuracy. Even Ainz himself has praised her power. 

Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, also known as Raizel, is a Noble - a species that is in many ways quite similar to vampires. But his role is a little different than the rest of the Nobles - he's the Noblesse, which means it's his job to observe the other Nobles and decide whether to protect them or punish them. 

He's considered the strongest Noble in the series. He has a plethora of impressive abilities. His defense is top-notch - he can create a force field out of his aura to nullify all incoming attacks. He can use several forms of telekenisis and telepathy. He can create cyclones out of blood, fly on wings made of blood, and control the individual blood cells in his opponents' bodies. He can create miniature black holes that his opponent will be sucked into. Yeah, you do not want to mess with this guy. 

Abel Nightroad isn't exactly a classic vampire - he's a Crusnik, which is a complicated concept that we won't get into here. But he has more than enough vampiric traits to qualify - and he also has nano-machines. 

As a regular human, he has super strength, speed, and endurance. But when he activates the nano-bots, he gains several impressive abilities, such as the power to form a scythe from his blood, giant wings he can fly with, the ability to manipulate electricity, and a drastically improved regenerative capacity. 

When Moka Akashiya was born, she was weak and sickly. To deal with this, she received a transfusion of Shinso vampire blood. But she received too much, and ended up being an ultra-powerful child who was constantly in battle mode. 

In order to protect her from the extent of her abilities, her mother gave her a rosary that created a personality called Outer Moka that was much kinder, gentler, and weaker. But whenever she was threatened, Inner Moka would appear and wreak havoc. 

Shinobu Oshino is currently fairly powerless - an incident in which she nearly lost her life but was saved by a human whom she turned into a vampire eventually left her with very few of her original powers. But before all that happened, she had an impressive range of abilities. She can control any aspect of her body to her exact specifications, whether its her weight or the length of her hair. She can read minds, manipulate the weather, travel through time, shape-shift, regenerate… the list goes on. 

She also wields a sword called the Kokorowatari that's capable of effortlessly destroying any Oddities, but can't cut anything from the normal world.  

Saya Otonashi is a Chiropteran queen - that is, someone whose blood creates super-powered vampiric bat-like creatures. She can also produce chevaliers, which are humans that become her servants when they drink her blood. 

As long as she's drinking enough blood to maintain her health, she can heal her own injuries, stop herself from aging, and fight with extreme strength. She can enter a berserker mode that makes her even stronger. If her chevaliers get out of control, she can crystalize her own blood and products of her blood. This is extremely dangerous to her, so it's an absolute last resort. 

As the boss of the Eastern District of Demon World, you can already guess that Staz Charlie Blood is strong. Because he's so busy obsessing over anime and other forms of Japanese pop culture, he doesn't exactly care about his powers, except when he can connect them with his interests, like when he replicates the Kamehameha from Dragon Ball Z. 

He can do things like use his demonic energy to crush someone else's heart, drain someone's energy and use it for himself, regenerate his wounds, and just generally throw down like a melee fighter. 

As the main villain of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Dio Brando is also one of its most powerful characters. He has so much going on that being a vampire isn't even his main thing, but it does give him plenty of impressive skills, such as sucking blood in order to restore his own strength, creating zombies, regeneration, and shooting out eye beams. 

However, his best-known power is his Stand, which he'd have regardless of whether or not he was a vampire. His Stand is called the World, and it allows him to stop time, which helps him easily destroy his opponents while they're frozen. 

Though he looks young, Kaname Kuran is over 10,000 years old. He's one of the original progenitors of the vampiric race, and his powers are off the chain.

Because he was transformed by third progenitor Krul Tepes, he's considered unusually strong even amongst the other vampires in the series. 

Kojou Akatsuki doesn't know how he became a vampire - all he knows is that he is now the fourth primogenitor, and the strongest vampire in his world. Before he was willing to drink blood, his 12 familiars didn't recognize him as their master and would often disobey him, but once he did the deed, they became immensely powerful allies. 

He's immortal, and has a host of abilities like enhanced strength, speed, and durability. He can also bend the laws of physics to his will. 

After searching for the Book of Vanitas, Noé Archiviste ended up reluctantly teaming up with Vanitas, a human who wants to use the book to heal vampires of their various problems. 

Besides increased, speed, strength, and fighting prowess, he possesses a unique clan ability that allows him to read the memories of anyone whose blood he consumes.

Kuro might be too lazy to fight 90% of the time, but when he actually gets serious, he's a force to be reckoned with. 

He can transform into a giant lion, amp up his power by using his bond with Mahiru, rip through targets with his super-sharp claws, turn the tails of his jacket into equally sharp spikes, and even give himself a major power boost. That power boost comes at a cost, though, because he loses awareness and control over his actions. 

She might not be well-known, but other than Servants like Gilgamesh, Arcueid Brunestud is considered one of the strongest characters in the extended Nasuverse. 

She has many abilities that are common to vampires in general, but she also one unique ability that's worth going into detail about. That's her Marble Phantasm, a weapon that allows her to alter the very fabric of reality. In one particularly amazing example, she turned the layers of the atmosphere into a vacuum in order to slice up her opponent. She can also use this to materialize things as large as a village. Also, while her vampirism affords her plenty of advantages, it has few drawbacks - she can control her bloodlust in a way that most other vampires can't. 

Arystar Krory III is an exorcist who vehemently denies being a vampire - but it's hard to believe him when he gets most of his powers from drinking Akuma blood. When he indulges, he goes into berserker mode, becoming significantly stronger in the process. He has some healing abilities - for example, he can stop someone from being infected with the Akuma virus by sucking it out of their blood. 

The ability that stands out most is probably Bloody Krory, which allows him to fight remotely using a mannequin made out of his own blood. 

This isn't exactly an individual, but rather a group. The Blood Breeds are the Alterworld's equivalent of vampires. They can manipulate their blood to use as a weapon, which they can use to attack with considerable strength. If their own power isn't enough, they can use mind control to have someone else to fight on their behalf. They can also protect themselves by encasing their bodies in a multi-layered egg-like structure called the Zhen Tai Dan. 

It's apparently possible to eliminate a Blood Breed, but doing so is a challenge that most can't take on. 

Rachel Alucard might not be as strong as the other Alucard on this list, but she's still not somebody you want to face in a fight. She can create portals, control wind and lightning, turn her clothes into weapons, and control anybody except for Amane Nishiki. 

She loses many of her abilities in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift once she gave up her Bystander status, but she still retains many of her basic combat skills. 

Yevgraf's strength is hard to deny, but most of his abilities are pretty standard-issue. 

He's super strong and agile, and can transform into an even stronger vampiric state. He can also transform other people into vampires, and attract existing vampires to him using his eyes.
