Here's a list of the top Men's Tennis players in the world today in 2019. This is one of the most exciting periods in the history of the game. The 2017 ATP rankings only factor in the past calendar year's tournament, which neglects not only how the players have been fairing recently, but also their career record. Both the player's past and recent history is taken into account, but the list will focus on a particular player's recent body of work, with the past and his current streak taken into account, especially performances at the four major tournaments  when it comes to tiebreakers between two players.

The list only includes players who are playing in ATP tour events, not the senior tour. This is not a historical list of the best tennis players of all time. Unsurprisingly, a lot of the famous players on this list have fared well in tournaments, especially the majors. For the past handful of years, four players have swapped positions in the top-4, leaving them a little bit ahead of their contemporaries. Players like Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Roger Federer are some of the most recognizable faces  in the world and on the account of their major titles at the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open, are near the top of the list.
