Next winter - even if I'll have to pluck a bird with my own hands - I won't miss a feather skirt, the only great trend that really struck me among the many proposals from all the Fall-Winter Catwalks…this won't be a good time for peacocks & other birds, although fortunately Zara & Co. will use faux feathers ( otherwise these species would become extinct hehehe... ) I can already imagine myself covered with marabou feathers, it will be a tough work to convince my husband they're the ultimate trend, but I'm pretty insistent you know…so here my personal ranking: first - as always - my beloved Marni ( Amen ), second place for Alessandro Dell'Acqua and his rising star N°21 ( a well-deserved success ), bronze medal for Ter et Bantine and its phenomenal white top…Happy Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Il prossimo inverno - anche a costo di spennare un pennuto a mani nude - non mi farò mancare una gonna piumata ( la sobrietà non è propriamente il mio forte al momento, invecchiando impazzendo forse il detto - alla fine - non era tanto sballato… ) unica vera grande tendenza che ho recepito da tutte le passarelle ( per il resto vanno ancora forte i cappotti, c'è tanto bianco, grigio, verde e rosso, tante cose belle - per carità - ma a me solo le piume sono rimaste impresse ) per pavoni ed altri piumati non si prospetta una bella estate, anche se in realtà Zara & Co. andranno di sintetico, altrimenti le specie in questione finirebbero estinte…già mi vedo ricoperta di piume di marabù, sarà un'impresa titanica farle digerire al marito, ma sapete che io sono un tipetto piuttosto tenace…per cui mentre mi trastullo ad immaginarmi in versione Beep-Beep ( ed a questo punto al marito sta benissimo la parte di Willy il Coyote ) Vi lascio alle immagini della mia personale classifica dove regna incontrastato Marni ( Amen ), incalzato da N°21, seguito a ruota da Ter et Bantine… PS. Il titolo che avevo pensato per il post di oggi era "Piume di Struzzo", film spassosissimo ispirato a "Il Vizietto" ma, visto che il mio Blog è letto per lo più all'estero ed il pubblico oltreoceano non avrebbe capito, ho ripiegato sul titolo originale...Buona Giornata!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday in Milan I had the privilege to go to the Ter et Bantine Show, an Italian minimalistic Brand for cutting-edge Fashion conoisseurs...The focal point of the Collection was the waistline accentuated with double breasted crossings, high corsets and croc belts. The palette was dark: black, blue, grey, the only exception an amazing bright blue...I wished to take better pics, but it was really difficult from my place...hope you'll enjoy it however...Happy Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!

A Milano sabato ho avuto la possibilità di andare alla sfilata di Ter et Bantine, Brand raffinatissimo che adoro e di cui sono una affezionata cliente da un po'...il minimalismo che è il Suo tratto distintivo questa volta era declinato in una nuova silhouette androgina addolcita, pero', da cinture strette che segnavano la vita. Tessuti classici si legavano a superfici in pelliccia, dando vita a dei mix innovativi ed eleganti. La palette era molto scura: blu, nero e grigio piombo illuminati esclusivamente da un blu brillante chicchissimo...Vi anticipo che le foto non sono un granchè, ero abbastanza pressata tra giapponesine agguerrite iPad munite...dopo il jump trovate anche la mia mise...Buon Martedì!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm back from Florence where I've been to the amazing LuisaViaRoma party...the dinner was in a dream setting with walls of real trees, real grass under our heels & silver chandeliers with hundreds of candles...Bloggers from all over the world were there, I've seen: Song of Style, BryanBoy, Wendy's Lookbook, BagSnob, Peace Love Shea, Le Blog de Betty, Kayture, BlondeSalad & JouJou Villeroy...I've been really lucky to be there & I deeply thank LuisaViaRoma for inviting me...Have a great start of the week & thanks for reading everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Serata meravigliosa, l'altra sera a Firenze, per il Black & White Party di LuisaVia Roma...La serata, questa volta concepita in maniera diversa dalle edizioni precedenti e molto piu' ristretta, prevedeva una cena placée in una location strepitosa...l'invito, del tutto inaspettato, mi ha molto lusingato ed ho deciso di andare...fortunatamente mi ero sentita con Lisa di La Troisième, che molte di Voi conoscono e seguono, e ci eravamo date appuntamento per andare insieme...ad attenderci un'aperitivo in un Chiostro stupendo, con giochi di luce rigorosamente bianchi e neri, musica stupenda ed un braciere con un falo'...ammetto di essermi congelata, ma ne valeva la pena...poi la cena, in un paesaggio da fiaba, con pareti di cipressi ed ulivi, mille candele e prato sotto i piedi...

Sabato mattina sono sgattaiolata un paio d'ore a Premiere Classe, fiera prestigiosa di accessori che si tiene ai giardini di Tuileries, dove espongono i più influenti Brand di accessori e nuovi talenti in ascesa...mi sono fermata a salutare due Designers a me particolarmente cari e poi via ad assaporare ancora un po' di Parigi...

It's raining non-stop in Rome since Sunday & this weather is making me craving for some "Hot" Fall Buys & playing with Photoshop - in my RockandFrock way - with gorgeous collages found surfing the net ( this is from Grazia.it )...On top of my list there is the hunting for THE Perfect Leather Tee...I'll surely go for a basic one ( in fake leather ) from Zara HERE & I want to splurge on a very special one from Ter et Bantine HERE...I'm making love also with this turtleneck leather tee from Margiela HERE, but I'll definitely want to wait to see his collaboration with H&M...have a perfect Wednesday sweeties & thanks for reading everyday!!!!!! xoxo

Proposito per l'anno nuovo: fare un corso da grafica, perchè ho un milione di idee e non sono capace di metterle in pratica...per adesso mi limito a giocare con Photoshop ed a modificare i bellissimi collage ( via Grazia.it ) che trovo gironzolando nel web...ma veniamo a noi ed alle cose serie, hehehe, questo tempo mi fa venire voglia di Autunno e di nuovi acquisti, in cima alla mia lista c'e' "LEI": la T-shirt in pelle...la scelta è ampia, ce ne sono per tutti i gusti e per tutte le tasche...io procederò con la basica in ecopelle di Zara QUI e con quella speciale sovrapposta ad una camicia di garza bianca ( assolutamente divina... ) di Ter et Bantine QUI...mi piace parecchio anche quella a collo alto di Margiela QUI, ma aspetto di sbirciare la collaborazione con H&M...ora scappo al lavoro, bimbe, sotto un acquazzone che non vi dico, voglia pari a zero, piuttosto mi farei sparare... xoxo
