How to make an ITH Snaptab (Key Fob- Key Ring)

Hey gang! Tonight we shot a live video in our Facebook group.  If you are a member you can re-watch it HERE.  If not scroll down to our YouTube link to the video.  We discussed how to make an in the hoop (ITH) snaptab.  Also known as key chain or key fob.  In the hoop items are super popular and sell very well at craft shows and are just super rad gifts!!!

Tonight we ran two designs.  First up we ran the Seashell snaptab.  A simple design and versatile for the summer.

Our second design was one of our very popular filled mermaid snaptab.  A touch different then the first, but just as simple to make.

Here is a list of supplies you will need.  I encourage you to watch the video and get started! Some of these links are affiliate links.  Affiliate links help me earn money when you use them to purchase supplies. The money from these purchases help keep my business going.

Make it Monday- First Birthdays

First birthdays are so special.  I know we went all out to celebrate and decorate for that matter.  You can find Parker's photos HERE.  A friend of mine asked me to create a banner, a bib and a crown for her little girl Molly.  Her theme was under the sea.  I totally love it!  You can grab the pieces singly or as a bundle.  Check them out HERE.

Make it Monday- Coachella Shorts in Military Max

JenChesnick_CamoShortsShirt
Camo Shorts & Shirt, by Jen Chesnick.
Who says boys get to have all the camo fun? Max was one of my favorite paper lines, so I was equally as thrilled to see it come to life in fabric. My daughter LOVED the camo prints. I recently bought the Coachella Shorts pattern and knew it would be perfect for the design.

I made bias tape from the skull fabric instead of using a trim. Pom Pom trim would also look pretty cool on them!

For this shirt I merged two applique designs, Love For Boys & Military Patch(both from Planet Applique), to create the final Love Patch pattern. It's a perfect little outfit for play!

Make it Monday- Deco Doil Boot Spurs & a Tilly Top

IMG_9750
I used a tried and true favorite pattern of mine for my daughters top, you may even recognize it.  It’s theTilly by Brownie Goose and has been here a few times.  I modified it again to have an open back with sash closure.  Perfect for anytime of year and it pairs perfectly with her Lily Ruffler bottoms.

To create the spurs I followed the instructions in the design.  I used the same technique from myprevious post to apply the iCraft® Deco Foil™ to wool felt. If you look through Sevens Emporiums designs there are a few I think would be fantastic childrens party favors.  Gold Sheriffs badges come to mind!

Make it Monday- Ice Queen applique jacket

Good Monday gang!  I have a little princess to share today.  For Christmas I made Parker an Ice Queen applique jacket.  I ordered the jacket from Amazon and added the design to the hood.  She was the first I made and I have made a few since.  You can find the hoodie version in the Parker on the Porch store.  Pics below.

Since created the jacket the designer I bought the file from updated her.  She looks AMAZING in my opinion.  You can see more HERE in the shop.
