Hello Sunshine! Dynamic Duos Challenge #53

Hey, it's time for another color challenge!  Dynamic Duos #53 uses some rich, bright colors.  Lots of fun to play with!  You'll see what I mean.
Pacific Point is one of my favorite SU blues and since this is a kid themed card, I decided to go bold.

I pulled out a couple of my Paper Smooches stamp sets for this card.  Then...just had fun :)
A couple of my fussy cut clouds are popped up on foam tape, along with the speech bubble.  If you've followed my blog for a while you know that I love adding dimension to my cards!
I hope you'll play along with us this week at Dynamic Duos.  Follow the link to the challenge blog to read the challenge rules.  Then, have fun :)
Now, scoot off and check out what the rest of the Dynamos have created for you!

Here are the links to all of the DT's blogs.

One cool chick!

I'm back with a very quick post.  No challenges for this card.  If you saw my posts last weekend, you saw THIS post of the window card I made.  Well.  I'm kinda hooked on making window cards now.  I had so much fun with that first one, that I had to make another one!  This one is going to a friend who has a birthday in about a week.  She has a great sense on humor, so I know she'll like this card.

I had a lot of fun creating this scene.  You have no idea.  Serious. Fun.
I did some sponging to create the sky.  The grass (left over from last week's card) and the fence were die cut.  I stamped the bird onto 2 patterned papers, then fussy cut and combined them.  This cool chick has a tiny rhinestone eye and a dab of glossy accents on her beak. The grass and the window panel are popped up with foam tape.  I think that covers it all.  Thanks for visiting!

My recipe:
Card stock: whisper white, early espresso (SU), white (PTI)
Patterned papers: this & that pad (Echo Park), sunshine pad (MME)
Ink: baja breeze, basic black (SU), onyx black (Versafine)
Stamps: my peeps (Paper Smooches)
Other: picket fence die, woodgrain impression plate (PTI)

How tweet of you!

Happy Saturday morning!  Just a quick post this morning before I head outside to do some pruning.  Spring is finally here!

I'm playing along in a new-to-me challenge.  Addicted to CAS (which means clean and simple).
This is ATCAS#9 Challenge, and the code word is Spring.
I haven't created a whimsical, cute card in a while.  And since I was in the mood for something different, this is the result.

This was SO much fun to create.  And it makes me smile :)  I used patterned papers for the log, grass and the sky.  I attached the die cut grass to the back of the white panel.  All of the other pieces (I fussy cut the log, leaves and bird) are adhered to the card base.  I attached the white panel, with grass, using foam tape to give the scene some dimension.  Oh, and I added a tiny drop of glossy accents to the little birdy's eye.
My intention is to put this card in my Etsy shop.  But.  I'm not sure I can part with it. I know, crazy huh?
Thanks so much for taking a look today!

What I used:
Cardstock: white (PTI), lucky limeade, daffodil delight (SU)
Ink: basic black (SU), onyx black versafine (Tsukineko)
Stamps: critters in the forest (Lawn Fawn), my peeps (Paper Smooches)
Patterned papers: this & that charming 6 x 6 pad (Echo Park), follow your heart - be amazing (MME)
Dies: long classic rectangles large (Spellbinders), die grass border (A.Muse)
Other: glossy accents (Ranger), foam tape (3M), scor-tape (Sookwang)

Hey friend! Freshly Made Sketches Challenge

Today, I'm playing along with Freshly Made Sketches #631 Challenge.  A sketch always helps me with a starting point for my cards. There...
