on the march..  Senate Bill 1316. Information Dissemination, would require all bloggers who write about the governor, his cabinet, or legislators to register with the state or face fines.

The proposed legislation  appears to hinge on whether the blogger is paid, but the language is loose and may include remuneration  in a broad sense, such as advertisers or donors

For bloggers subject to the law, they would need to register, disclose the total amount of remuneration, and file monthly reports with the state.
