Masseur Busted For Sex Attack On Male Client
Patron "jumped up from the table” and called cops
FEBRUARY 8--A licensed massage therapist is locked up on $100,000 bond for forcibly performing a sex act on one of his male clients, according to Florida investigators who yesterday arrested the masseur for felony sexual battery.
As detailed in court records, the December 29 incident occurred at the Botanica Day Spa in Clearwater, where Hector Posadas, 45, performed massages and skin care treatments.
Posadas earlier this week moved to voluntarily relinquish his massage therapist license--first granted in 2016--according to Florida Department of Health records.
The victim told cops that, “towards the end of the session while lying on his back,” Posadas “touched his penis.” The client “believed this to be odd, but assumed it was a mistake.”
Thereafter, however, Posadas allegedly reached under the victim’s underwear, grabbed the man’s penis and placed it into his mouth. “The victim,” cops report, “jumped up from the table, ended the massage session and left the business to alert the police.”
A sexual assault forensic exam later revealed that the victim had “foreign DNA on his penis, scrotum and genital area, as well as the inside of his underwear.” An arrest affidavit does not identify a contributor to those DNA samples.
During initial police questioning, Posadas “denied that the incident took place.” He subsequently retained legal counsel and declined to speak further with detectives. Seen above, Posadas is next due in court on February 10.
Posadas, who was born in Venezuela, resides in a Largo condominium he bought for $165,000 in 2022. He was married in 2016 to a man 18 years his senior, but that union ended in divorce in 2021, court records show.
According to his LinkedIn page, as an esthetician, Posadas has “successfully balanced client needs while delivering exceptional service. My dedication to quality has led to an increase in client retention, showcasing my commitment to client satisfaction. Former Massage Therapist.” (1 page)
