I love florals! I'm pretty much a girly girl so no surprise there! I even have a floral phone case right now! Modcloth is probably one of the best places to get girly girl floral dresses like the Story of Citrus Dress in Noir.  I played around with it on Polyvore and brought out the green in the dress to take it into fall. I love the dainty leaf details on the sweater and on the handbag! Add some delicate pieces of jewelry, some sparkling nail polish (Julep of course!), and a pretty fragrance and you get a unique outfit that's right up my alley!

I've never really celebrated St. Patrick's Day....I just always made sure and wore green so not to get pinched! Ha! I think Hunkie is thinking about a date day ( we have those instead of nights due to his wacky work schedule...whatever works, right?) around St. Patrick's Day since we didn't have a date for Valentine's.  So I thought it'd be fun to create a causal date look. I love the look of a denim shirt with colored jeans....so fun!! And I think I'm going to do a little bit of decorating for St. Pat's this year too.  Lil' Hunkie likes to help me decorate our mantel and I recently picked up a few things at the Dollar Tree to do so. Should be fun!!

I am so ready for Spring!

I'm not much on Winter fashion and as a matter of fact I really don't like wearing a coat! I have enough padding and coats just add to that! Any one else?

What I love about Spring is it's pretty dresses!

Chic Couture-High School Reunion Wear

Well guess what's coming up in a week?

Yep, my 20 year high school reunion!  This is the actual dress I bought to wear. It's simple with lace cap sleeves and fit surprisingly well since I ordered it online from Walmart! I only paid $15 too! Our school colors were red and black so I plan on finding some red accessories.  Fun , huh?

Aren't the sunglasses fun? I thought so! And oh my the phone cases on Etsy!  (I finally got a new phone about 2 weeks ago...the Galaxy S3 and it is amazing!)

I would wear that shirt on any ole' date in a heartbeat, not just for Valentine's day! Couture La La is new and I got a whiff in a magazine and fell in love instantly! Finally, I realize that eyeshadow is bright.  I have it in the Rollergirl palette.  It is very blendable and looks so pretty with browns! I promise!

I sat down to write today's post and had a neat idea pop in my head!  How about a Chic Couture (my beauty/fashion ramblings) series for Valentine's day?! The Colors of Love series!! 

One of my 'go to' fashion/beauty tricks is to dress for a holiday with accessories.  And majority of accessories are 'one size fits everybody' so it's fun to share!

Chic Couture- I ♥ Coach

It's true, I ♥ Coach! Now that doesn't mean I own gobs of it, it just means it makes me swoon!  I can't remember exactly when I first encountered Coach but years ago I used to work at Dillard's.  

{That sounds like I'm old! I'm talking 1998 -2001.}

And all I can remember really is extremely nice leather purses.  Of course when Dillard's decided to have a Coach event where you could get your purchase embossed then I had to buy my first Coach!  I took home a black, leather day tote with my initials!  It's safe and sound in it's box, haven't carried it in years and well my initials aren't the same anymore! 

Enter Facebook.

Did you know that there's all kinds of Facebook pages that sell stuff!? Yep! And a word of wisdom...be careful, they can be addicting! Of course there's a nice social aspect to it but still I think I have to check it everyday!  

The Coach Handbag Hoarder Resale group is a great group with extremely knowledgeable administrators.  When I first got on I knew exactly what I wanted to be on the look out for.  I love the Coach Horse & Carriage print! And I found one! And I found an awesome seller too! Tracy Guzman is fabulous!

So among all my stalking browsing on the page I unfortunately have a mental wish list going!

Joining All Things Chic

Well I think I've went and done something pretty cool.  I joined the Chic Blogger Network at All Things Chic!  I was partying at a link party on Tuesday and came across a chic button for the Network on Mrs. Southern Bride.  I scribbled down 'allthingschic.net' and went and checked it out.  In short, All Things Chic is "the fashion and beauty blog geared for the modern mom."  I like fashion and beauty and try to be as modern as I can!  What made me say "sign me up" is that you don't have to be a fashion/beauty specifc blogger to join the network.  An occasional fashion/style post and being chic are the requirements!  Sounds good to me!  And one way to get traffic to your blog is networking.  So I'm excited for a new venture and can't wait to see how it unfolds!

Chic Couture-Spring Dresses

I was checking out a website that I dream about shopping at for what their 'new arrivals' are and found the cutest dress! ( The one with the belt.)  I don't know about you but Spring dresses are a favorite of mine! I like  dresses period.  Sometimes, to me, they can be more comfy than a pair of jeans!  So I did some more checking and found some more lovelies! And I did add what I wore for Easter...the turquoise peasant dress.  It's so comfy and fit pretty good!
