Mask It Art with Tarrah...

Hi everyone!!

It's Tarrah here with you today to share a cool project that I have been working on using some of the awesome X-Press It products including the fabulous Mask It! I created a canvas and used some different coloured mists with the Mask It.

What I love about the Mask It is that it has markings already on
the backing sheet to cut to your desired size, in my case I cut long strips of it.

I adhered the strips of Mask It down, and with a ruler,
I measured the exact width of the Mask It to allow for the space in between each piece and then adhered the next and so on...I then used the mists in a few different colours to achieve this look...

I then started to embellish my newly masked canvas by using my favourite glue, the X-Press It Clear Gel Glue and the fabulous FabScraps Heritage Fleur Frame..

I cut the Fleur Frame in half and also cut the Fleur De Lis Off each end of the frame...

I adhered the Fleur Frame with the Clear Gel Glue and I adhered the
paper doily with the X-Press It High Tack Tape

I also adhered the photo and the printable down with the High Tack Tape also..

I used a flower and some glitter alphabets and some
FabScraps Jewel Embellishments to finish off my Mask It canvas

A bit of the close up detail....

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Mask It Canvas project today, it was super easy to use the X-Press It Mask It product to create a pretty canvas, so why don't you give it a try?

Thanks so much for joining me on the X-Press It blog today, happy creating..

FabScraps Bunny Album...by Tarrah

Hello everyone!!
Tarrah here with you today to share a cute FabScraps Mini Bunny Album that I recently created.

I gathered supplies that I would need firstly..

I gave the bunny 2 coats of paint...

I then applied X-Press It Clear Gel Glue to the bunny's nose and feet....

in preparation for the Flower Soft to be applied on these areas....

Apply a generous amount of the Flower Soft for good coverage
and to give the appearance of fluffiness..then allow to dry....

I then painted over the Flower Soft with white paint
and allowed that to dry also...

Trace the remaining album pieces onto your favourite FabScraps
patterned papers and cut these out....

Using the X-Press It Triple Tac, adhere the papers to the
chipboard album pages and sand the excess off the edges..

For small chipboard embellishments like the FabScraps
Baby Clothes Chipboard, the
X-Press It Clear Gel Glue works a treat....

Decorate and arrange your photos and
embellishments how you desire....

Here is my FabScraps Mini Bunny Album all finished
with some ribbons tied through the rings for extra decoration and a white pen used to outline the features of the bunny face...

Thanks so much for stopping by the X-press It blog today, I do hope I have inspired you to pull out your X-Press It products and create something wonderful....stay tuned for more exciting and beautiful creations from the Design Team here at X-press It.

Bye for now...

Copic/Pencil Holder...using FabScraps Products....

Hi everyone!!

It's Tarrah here with you today! I wanted to create a different project this month, rather than create my usual layouts that I always create, I decided to create a pencil holder from a tin can.....here is how I created it...

Firstly I got some supplies together including a washed
out tin can with the outside sticker peeled off also...

FabScraps products used:

Apply a generous amount of X-Press It Triple Tac to all
the outside of the tin can using a paint brush....carefully adhere
the FabScraps Christmas Star Sparkles paper white the Triple Tac is wet.

cut two strips measuring approximately 1 inch x 8 inches.

Scallop the edges of the Milkshake Strawberry strips using a border punch

Using some X-Press It Double Sided Tape, adhere one
of these pieces with some around the very
top of the tin can with the scallops pointing down..

Adhere the other piece to the bottom of the
can with the scallops pointing upwards...

Trim a strip of paper from the
measuring approximately 2 inches x 8 inches,
adhere this piece around the middle of the can

Take a large rose from the FabScraps Blush Roses and
a slightly smaller one from the Sepia Roses also get 4 of the
leaves from the Delicate Green Roses pack also...

Assemble a flower embellishment using the two roses,
once you add the metal flower and brad, curve the edges
of the petals for more definition.

Tuck the leaves behind the flower and you
have a lovely embellishment ready for any project...

Finally adhere the flower embellishment to the centre
of the tin can overlapping the Milkshake Strawberry strip of paper

This is the finished project...

it is perfect to hold some craft tools, pencils, Copics,
whatever you choose!!

See how easy it was to create something useful and pretty all at once!!
I hope you use your X-Press It adhesives and FabScraps products for your next project!
Thanks so much for stopping by the X-Press It blog today...take care...

'Beary Cute' Canvas..

Hi everyone!!
It's Tarrah here with you today to share a layout that I recently created using some of the gorgeous and brand new FabScraps Oz 'Baby Bear' collection....I also decided to mount my layout onto a canvas for more depth..so here is how I created it...

The papers I used for my layout canvas are:
FabScraps Oz 'Baby Bear' Story Bear 1 and
FabScraps Oz 'Baby Bear' Story Bear 2

I distressed all the edges of the Story Bear 1 paper
and used this is my main page,
I used a smaller piece of the Story Bear 2 paper to
mount my photo and some of my elements...

Once I had trimmed and distressed the edges of the Story Bear 1 paper,
I got out my trusty X-Press It Triple Tac and
using a foam brush, adhered this paper to the 12' x 12' canvas..

I also used some of the FabScraps Oz Baby Bear
 Journal Pre-Cuts, choosing the
 Baby Bear Smocking pre-cuts...

the Story Bear 1 Tag Pre Cut that I mounted on the
matching Tag chipboard using some X-Press It Clear Gel Glue

and I also used the Baby Bear Story Bear Journal Pre-Cut name tag
and adhered it to the matching name tag chipboard
piece again using the awesome X-Press It Clear Gel Glue..
I punched holes using a small hole punch in the band
and cut out the label section with my stanley knife..

I also used two of the Pre-Cuts from the FabScraps Oz
Milkshake Chic range, choosing the Pink Soda
 Milkshake pre-cut..

and the pastel pink Tape Measures..

I also used the FabScraps Oz Soft Blush Roses
in pink and I also used the Baby Bear Clear Stickers as well..

I layered two of the Blush Roses together
and used a FabScraps Oz pearl to join them together..

I chose my title, the FabScraps Oz 'Beary Cute
' Chipboard title leaving it in its raw state..

I adhered all the Pre-Cuts to my layout with the X-Press It Glue Marker Pen
and all the Chipboard elements I used the X-Press It Clear Gel Glue
as its a little stronger than the glue marker...

Here are all the elements on the layout before I had completely finished...

And here is the finished canvas/layout...I added a cute little
FabScraps Oz wooden flower button to the cluster to finish it off as well...

Thanks so much for stopping by the X-Press It blog today, I hope you might get creative and use your X-Press It adhesives and FabScraps Oz products for your next project, we would love to see what you create, upload your project to our Facebook page or leave a link to your project here in the comments section so we can leave you some love!
