Circle of Friends

Friends are so important to me and because of them , I understand myself too....thank you for all who are my friends, or wish to be my friends, from anywhere around the world ! :-))

Here is my entry for DCM, it's glad that I still have some spare time to make this card this week, as we have final exam and I need to revise the lessons with my son:-((

Here is the challenge and congrats to DCM for the first anniversary! It sure has so many sweet memories there:-))

Our Amazing Circle Of Friends
The group of friends who got together to form the Daring Cardmakers back in October 2006 has developed and grown into a huge circle of crafting and blogging friends who come together from all over the world to share their inspiration and their talents so enthusiastically, and are always so supportive of each other's cardmaking.
In honour of all of you who've helped make this blog so successful, and such a friendly place to "play" we've decided to revisit our very first dare for this our first anniversary, but with a twist.
The subject is, as in our original dare "friends", but this time the title is CIRCLE of FRIENDS and we'd like you to incorporate at least one circle into your card.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Fancy Pants,MSE,PaperBag Studio

Patterned Papers: Basic Grey Mellow Collections

Ink: Distress Ink ( Ranger Industries),Versafine( Tsukineko)

Children- The Natural Beauty

My very first try in Wednesday Stamper, there are so many talented ladies there, so I really hope my card is qualified for the challenge:-)

Supplies Used:

Rubberstamp: PaperBag Studio

Flowers: Prima, Heidi Swapp

Rub-on: Daisyd's

Ink: Distress Ink (Ranger Industries),Versafine,Walnut ink(Tsukineko)

Brads,ribbon, grey cardstock,brown patterned paper.

I really love this card, because the child looks vintage, the ribbon looks vintage too, and the rub-on, make the card so "old" :-)

Christmas Tree + Faux Stitches

Here is the combination of two challanges, my second christmas card:-)

DCM .

"O Christmas Tree. O Christmas Tree" Want to guess what needs to be featured on your cards this week? Yes, we want to see lots and lots of Christmas Trees - that should help you get those stocks of cards looking a bit healthier.

and Arty Girls

This week's challenge is 'stitches'...feel free to interpret our theme's any way you choose.....you could do real stitching, faux stitching, use the word 'stitches', sew a button on your project...it's entirely up to you ;)

I don't have my sewing mechine, yes, I know my mother has one, but that one is really old, Singer, product in 1969!! Dad bought it for my mom when they married! Really really old and BROKEN, it's antique now:-)
So I use faux stitches, just pierce holes with a needle!Very simple, but need to do on the back of the card.

Supplies Used: Patterned paper from American Craft, Basic Grey
Stamp: MSE.
