Leaf It Alone

Good morning!  I'm bit behind schedule Daring Cardmakers 'Leaf It Alone' challenge this week. Today I'm going to ketch up with them and share fun project with you.

The challenge was to use leafs on our cards. I created something different. Used watercolour ombre technique to make sunny yellow panel. (Why not black and yellow colour combo for a change om this card? :0)

Die cut bold 'hello' and used it as a negative. Fix yellow panel on the black card blank.

Finally I die cut Woodland Heart Frame from scrap paper from my scrap drawer with lots of tiny leafs, framed the sentiment 'hello'. To create more feminine look I added randomly some pink sequins.

Something Stencilled

Hello. The day in my calendar is marked today! It is official first day of winter. Yupii! I prepared our chocolate advent calendars. Can't wait to start our Christmas countdown with delicious chocolate!:0) Pulled out our winter warm cloth from deep back of our wardrobe in the bedroom. Winter here we come!
Now, there was a new challenge at Daring Cardmakers this week:

This week we have a pre-Christmas treat for one of you - a beautiful crafty gift you could win, thanks to our lovely sponsor,
 Bubbly Funk
Recently celebrating 10 whole years selling crafty stash on-line, Bubbly Funk has had a slight change of direction and is now specialising in selling stencils and the paraphernalia that goes alongside.  You'll find a huge range of stencils and masks in many different sizes, plus the inks, paints, sprays, mixed media goodies and the tools you need too.
Caroline, of Bubbly Funk has put together a special prize pack which includes
3 stencils to play with, plus chipboard mini albums and keychains,
 crystal flowers, ink and ribbon

Wouldn't it be good to find that little lot arriving at your door?  All you have to do to be in with a chance of it being yours is to join in with this week's challenge - leave a link to your card and at the end of the week we'll use a Random Picker to select our winner.  We can't make it easier than that, can we?

The Challenge:
Something Stencilled
Just use a stencil in some way on your card. It's not a problem if you don't have any ready made stencils - you could use a die cut, or the die itself, a doily, or anything else that you can paint, ink or trace through.

And here is my card used Hero Arts Triangle Stencil as a background:

Have a nice first day of winter. Hugs,

Cuddly Creatures

Hello my friends! I'm back with another Christmas card inspirations today. My first one is for Daring Cardmakers

This week I'm challenging you to feature some cuddly creatures on your cards and bonus glittery stars if you include hugs in the image or greeting.

There have been some really great stamp releases of late featuring huggable pandas, bunnies and bears, so if you have any of those in your stash waiting to be used, now's your chance!

Your cuddly creatures don't necessarily have to be your regular cute animals, they could be a bit more unusual...

Here is my Cuddly card :

Thank you for stopping by hope that your day is nice!
