Obama Cuts Ad In Support of French Globalist, Socialist Independent Macron
Hacking the French Elections.
By the way, this super-sophisticated cosmopolitan cut the commercial in English, not even bothering to try to get coached up on how to deliver a passable 30 second spot in French. Because you know how much French people love Americans speaking English.
He does say "On Marche! Vive le France!" at the end, referencing the name of Macron's newly invented EU-socialist party ("On marche!" means like "We're working" or "We're going forward," or "Let's work" or "Let's move" (wasn't that Michelle Obama's school exercise slogan?)) and of course the motto of France.
I can see him considering a cock-holster relationship with an older professor as I watch this. (Not a slur -- it's in his biography, and Stephen Cobert says it's ok now.)
By the way, Macron now has a 24 point lead over Le Pen, which is exactly what it was just after the first round.
There have been unsourced claims that Macron has hidden offshore accounts -- which is particularly sensitive in France, which just went through a multiyear investigation of many, many officials having such hidden accounts, from like 2012-2015 -- but Macron calls these claims "Kremlin smears" (evidement!), and in fact has sued Le Pen for referencing them.
Police opened a criminal investigation into Marine Le Pen yesterday after Emmanuel Macron, her rival in the French presidential election, accused her of smearing him with claims that he had hidden money offshore.
Prosecutors ordered the inquiry into the far-right candidate when Mr Macron, the centrist favourite for Sundays final-round vote, filed a complaint to the police. Ms Le Pen was libelling him by spreading fake news and trying to skew the election, he claimed.
