80's TV never failed to entertain, especially the action shows. If you have never seen the original A-team in action, you haven't lived. And lets not forget that lovable alien, ALF. I loved collecting the trading cards for that bizarre sport he played on his home planet of Melmac. Good memories that I have put on t-shirts to share with you, check them out at my store! COMBAT CARL / CARL WEATHERS

 I just recently saw Pixar's "Toy Story of Terror" TV special ( forgot about it when it originally came out ) and just loved all the "Predator" movie reference, especially Carl Weathers aka: Combat Carl. The whole show was a kid friendly "Predator" movie, right down to the "Over Here" whisper and being hunted by a giant lizard. Even Combat Carl's hand was missing and in the "Predator" movie, Carl Weathers character had his hand ( actually his arm )  blown off by the Predator. 

I loved it so much, I did this small sample of a "Combat Carl" toy line in classic G.I. Joe style right after watching the special. Also made his enemy villain the classic Predator for him to fight until the end of time.

THE 13 GHOSTS OF SCOOBY-DO!

I love anything that has "Vincent Price" in it, even his voice acting is amazing. I got the series for this a little while ago and while watching it, I thought this would have made an awesome "Roger Corman" movie if CGI was available way back when.

I have been watching this old series lately and I could not believe how much I LOVE THIS SHOW!. It had everything a young boy could want in a HERO, bionic powers, star athlete, secret agent, astronaut, and always got the girl in the end.

 It kind of makes me sad that there is no more live-action adventure series ( Night rider, The A-Team, Air wolf, etc. ) for kids anymore where adults are the heroes and not just kids. Somewhere down the line Studios and Producers think that kids only associate with other kids and adult role models don't work. I have always said throughout my career:

 Who wants to be "Robin", I want to be "BATMAN".

It's the family I wish I was a member of, but drawing them will have to do instead. There actually is a list of all the other members of  "the Addams family" that was mentioned on the TV show. These are about half of them, I just pick my favourite names and did those members. 

I also should mention that I got the background for the family portrait from the "Scooby-doo: Mystery Incorporated" show since I can't paint anything to save my life.
