This hand specimen contains a small amount of Phosphuranylite, in powder form. No evidence of orthorhombic crystal form is present, and only a few minute smatterings of a yellow powder is visible. The specimen does register on a Geiger-Muller counter, but only rather slightly. The feldspar-rich base rock has a dull, pale brown color and hosts a substantial amount of mica.

Thin crusts of massive Phosphuranylite separate various layers in the cream-colored base rock of this cabinet specimen. These layers show no crystal form or tendencies, of course, and have the standard deep to pale yellow coloration and a dull, waxy luster. Also present on the piece are small black spots that might be made of uraninite and one large area whose color ranges from deep green to pale green-yellow; this is likely made up of autunite, meta-autunite, or a combination of the two.
