Best B'day

Ladies and Gents,

I have to admit I love the colours for this card, fun and cheerful.  I used TE numbers dies to create my background which worked out perfectly to what I was looking for. Spellbinder's Scalloped Circle die; used with Sizzix For the Record2, Documented dies; Elizabeth Craft Birthday die, Pennyblack Best die.  I coloured the cupcake with Copics after using Elizabeth Craft Silk glitter to give that shimmer. Finally washi tape to give the lettering a background border.

Cherry cupcake

It's nearly Friday again.  Another start to the school year begins today.  My baby is now on the tail end of high school.  The house is once again so quiet and strange after having it busy for the last 8 weeks.  Thank goodness the day has started cooler and not like it has been the last couple of weeks being in the high 30's and humidity through the roof.

Some thing different for this card.  I used watercolour paper and spritz it with Dylusion sprays.  Stamped images from Tim Holtz range with Momento ink,  Sentiment was from Elizabeth Craft dies, as well as her cupcake sticker.  I used ds sticker and microfine glitter.  Burnished the image before using Copic markers to colour it in.  Excuse the image, I think my mobile camera has a few etchings making the photos not as clear.

The embossing folder is by Spellbinders and a little lace netting.  Dream die ( I'm sorry, but can't remember the company that made it.)

Hi di ho neighbours,
Can you believe it's already Wednesday.  What happen to the days.  Have to say we still have warm sunny days which is perfect.  Here's a card I've done trying out Elizabeth Craft silky micro glitter and normal glitter on the bear and the background.  I use Memory Box Chesapeake die for some embellishment and some washi tape as well.  I coloured his nose and muzzle with copic pens.  I should mention how I've started using paint sample cards for this card.  The range of colours is humangous.

Christmas wishes

Happy Friday everyone,
Today was a beautiful winter's day with it being a little chilli to start off.  I've had the week off from exercising, them archillies heels ain't what they use to be and the left shoulder is still not 100%, but there's no time like the present to get back into it.  I was able to do the work out which was great.
Anyway back to this Gorguss girl I coloured with Copic pens.   Use Washi tape, Memory Box - Cosmo Border die, Tim Holtz stamp and SU cardstock, ds paper (retired) to put this card together.  Lastly I used Spica clear pen and Sakura gel metalic pen to highlight some of the picture.
I'm gonna enter this card into the challenges at

Best friends

bonjour everyone,
It's Monday and the is nearly over or rather the sun had gone to bed.  The day has been freezing with a real chilly factor.  I know it's not single digits and below freezing but for Sunny Queensland it was cold.  I had a remedial massage this morning and yes I cried mercy when my calf was worked on.
So on to this cute card I put together.  I've made a little ribbon for her hair, but the light wasn't the best to show you how well it turned out.  The bunny had  sparkly pen to give the tail a zing.

Rose 4 U

Hi everyone,
The day was just gorgeous and you couldn't ask for a better autumn day.  Today I've started exercising at a new place.  Some of you might know what I'm talking about when I say Crossfit...  You may ask and say why do it and my answer would be  - trying something new, stepping up the intensity of exercising and seeing how far I can push my body...  Crazy I know, but the motto No Pain, No Gain is about right.  We had double unders (turning the rope twice for the one jump)  for my very first workout 100 was needed but I was allowed to do 50 which I managed.

Enough of the exercise and onto my big love of crafting...  This card was put together very easily tonight.  This is going into the new challenge  over at http://totallygorjuss.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/challenge-180-embossing.html .  I've sanded the debossed background and love it.

Fancy that - Leafy Swirl

Hey one and all
The start of a new week and it's already filled with things to do...
The weekend gone was the Stitches and Craft Show in Brisbane.  Spent a lovely day wondering around the show looking at all the wonderful new things and catching up with people I don't get to see often.  So for my goodie bag I got a whole lot of new dies from Sizzix and Fancy that.  Now to put them to good use.
Been a while since I did much colouring with my Copic pens so here's my effort.
