LOve

Well it's Friday.
I've been working at the Brisbane Ekka Show - for those of you that don't know.  It's where the city meet the country.  We have rural live stock shows, rides, food tastings, exhibitions, show bags and fireworks when at the end of the nite.  So apologise for the slackness of the blog of late.  Here's a card requested for a wedding.  What not to do,  is the question we have to ask.

Anyway here is the finally result and its going into the challenge on

Rose bouquet

Hi everyone
Yes it's been awhile since I've posted any pics or entered any challenges.  Like is a run away train with the end of the year looming over us.  I've finished painting a commissioned portrait for a friend and trying to get my mojo making Chrissy cards.

I've been asked to make a wedding card for someone and here's the final product.  I've made the roses from the ribbons, pearl ribbon, Cricut cartridges and Spellbinders. Bling was added to give the roses a little bit of a sparkle and some simmer powder was used on the leaves.  I wanted it to have a bouquet feel to it with dimensions.

I coloured the roses with Copic pens and then used red glitter to give the roses a little bit of the highlight.  SU diamond dazzling glitter was use to cover the initials and  leaves diecut.  Organza ribbon and lace ribbon was also used.  Clear heart button from SU tied down with craft wire.  Finally embossing folder was used for the background.
