Color Challenge

Hello Crafters!
It's that time again over at Come and Get It Challenges this week we are inviting you to play along with the colors ......."Brown, Orange, Yellow and Red"

This week for the challenge we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Digital Stamps
These colors that Cindy picked just screamed at me to do something Halloween so that's why I picked this particular image from Bugaboo.

I used Stampin'Up! retired Kaleidacolor stampin' pad "pumpkin patch" which has a spectrum of colors in Really Rust, Ruby Red, Only Orange, More Mustard and Old Olive.........I masked the moon (which was colored with Ranger ink mustard seeds) and brayered the spectrum ink colors onto the digital image.
I finally got to use the spider web punch that I forgot I had gotten last year, yeppers it was still wrapped in plastic!  LOL  The wicked spider stamp was in my stash of clear stamps.

HINT: Using 2 pop dots stacked together attach to spider, then take black marker to color the foam so the white doesn't show through.

I'd like to share with these challenges:

Autumn Blessing Gifts

These little goodies were made for the Challenge over at Come and Get It........The Challenge for the week is "Autumn Blessings"

They are also made with love for my Stampin'Up! Customers as little prizes if they brought a friend to the Workshop that I gave on Saturday afternoon!

I had SU cello bags and added a scrap of designer paper to cover the front so they couldn't see what was inside

Stamp on your cello bag topper, punch the edges, attach with twine and slip on your homemade tag.

Lastly add an embellishment and you have some sweet little Autumn Blessing Gifts!
I'm entering my goodies into these challenges:
ICC #31~Picture Inspirations
Catch the Bug~Anything Goes

Anything Goes at CGI

Over at Come and Get It this week for our Challenge it's "Anything Goes"
This week I decided to do something just a bit different, I took an ordinary file folder and turned it into a creepy crawly Halloween Memo Tablet Holder with lots of Spiders!

These are the lovely felt spiders on purple Ric-Rack that I found at the local craft-fabric store and added some purple glitter for their eyes
This is one of the Spiders that I stamped and cut out and added to the center of the designer web paper

I thought this little saying from a retired Stampin'Up! set fit perfectly with my theme of spiders

Open up the Memo Folder and here is what you see..........more Spiders!!  Oh My!  LOL   I had lots of fun adding all the creepy crawlies on my folder even came across a die-cut that says creepy crawlies.
It has pockets in it for paper clips and pencils or pens to hold.
To finish it off I added a velcro closure to keep it closed when not being used or to keep in all those creepy things!   LOL
I thought it would be fitting to add one more spider & web to the tablet inside!
I'd like to share my project for these challenges:

Third Coast Skull Witch

Eerie Nights are upon us now that it's the Month of All Hallows Eve, I came up with this eerily glowing witch with shooting stars that are dusting the night with only a crow  capturing the sight!
The background is sponged with 3 different colors of blue starting with the lightest color first going to the darker colors leaving the area around the witch to sponge in with yellow for the glowing effect, stars are colored in with Sakura "purple star" gelly roll pen.  I then coated the entire page with 2 layers of clear embossing added the lamp post, a strip of lace ribbon border, and the eerie word die-cut from last years stash

The Skull Witch can be purchased as a single stamp or get the set with her sister the Spider Witch..........(click here) to get them!

Lamp post was painstakingly hand cut out and colored with Copic Markers

Third Coast Stamps used........."Skull Witch" CM-231-L, "Stone Steps" ES-082-F, "Stardust-Starry Corner"CH-952-G  Hope you get a chance to stop in and see the 31 days of Halloween that's going on over at Third Coast Creative Coterie Blog (click here)

Better with Age!

Well I took yesterday off and went down to Ninilchik with a friend for an all day of  Scrap Booking/Card making ......we had lots of fun, laughs, visiting and a scrumptious lunch with an awesome view of the inlet Mountains. (Oh Mt.Redoubt the Volcano was steaming again)   So on to my card it was a borrowed image & sentiment, when I got home I thought it still needed more to it.... so I used SU retired set for drinking glasses adding just a little touch of sparkle to the glasses.  Now I couldn't find a bottle image so I hand drew that larger bottle to the right......Loved the image it was fun seeing it come to life!  LOL
Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Flight

Okay I bought and loved the witch in this set of stamps and been waiting a whole year to use it!.........LOL All the coloring on this card is done pretty much all with art sponges from SU, my fingers only got a little bit inky. LOL I have to tell you that the jumbo roller stamp I unmounted and use with cling on acrylic blocks, it's so much easier for me and I get a straight stamped image.

Dream World Card

Well sometime you just get in one of those moods and need to stamp outside of your realm and or outside of the box as some would say ..........so I came up with card. Now I had in mind making a swap card for a yahoo group, so I ended up using some new & old stamps...........the "latest purchase" is the old world background stamp.

Bella & Kitties

This is some inches from one of the Cat sets from Inkadinkado that I picked up in Anchorage on one of my travels on the Tour Bus. One of the best parts about it, is they were on sale for 30% off! LOL Well I needed something else to add to the inches so Bella jumped in and helped me out with her kitties and she's colored with Copic markers other items used are SU cardstock & SU satin ribbon.
This is what I put inside the card, Thanks for coming and having a look see!
