Paper Shelter just happens to be sponsoring the image "A.Winter Mucha Influence"  that I'm using for my Double Dutch fancy fold card today.

PPA and super fine glitter for some dimension to the snow

The nesties that I used are from Stampin'Up!  Using white ink on Spellbinder M-Bossabilities (Flora) and run it through the cuttlebug, corner embellishments are shapeabilities.

I just love these verses that I found in my stash of stickers

My card started out with a LOTV stamped image called Bunches of Love.........the inside is actually green checkered but I see that the camera makes it looks yellow.

You can actually see with this scan below that the card inside is a checkered green.........dang I hate it when the colors turn out wrong!

Spellbinders shapeabilities were used to cut the center window for the egg shaped card as well as the  cut-out flourishes.

January Technique Challenge

A Crafty Hello to you!
This week at Come and Get It, we are having technique week and I'm hosting the Challenge so we'd like you to use the Faux Tile Technique.
Which can be found at Split Coast Stampers here as well as a short YouTube video.

Images used are Bildmalarna stamp Mimosa "sorry" and I paired her with the sitting cat.
Actually I masked her and stamped the cat so that he is a little in the background, colored, cut with spellbinders, then cut image in 6 pieces and covered with SU Crystal Effects.
Using an A2 folder dry embossed the pink cut out, distress the edges.

Sentiment is from Stampin'Up! called Fabulous Phrases that was punched with the word window and adding a few flowers.
Doesn't Mimosa have that adorable forlorn look
Sitting pretty kitty cat..........we'd love to have you challenge a friend and join us at Come and Get It!
So glad that you came by today........please show some love with a comment!

Wishes For a Merry Christmas

Just want to wish you all peace, love, laughter, and a little creativeness this Christmas ..........and all through the New Year!

This card was made with Third Coast Rubber Stamp called Holiday Panda Fairy  VB-230-L which you can find here

Icicle stickles added to the fairy panda's wings sure made them pop

 Poinsettia with mini rose buds

Have a blessed Holiday!

'Tis the Season

Did you know that Jack Frost is the son of the Frost King, and is a winter sprite that came from roots of Viking Lore and also known as Old Man Winter in Britain and the United States

He loves to leave frosty fern like crystals patterns on cold winter windows, glistening winter trees and cold weather to nip at our nose and toes.

 Third Coast Rubber Stamps used:

Just wish that scans would show more of the details on art projects.........like shimmery sparkle!  LOL

Wishing each and everyone of you a Safe and Happy Holiday this Season

"Merry Christmas"
Wishing you the best, thanks for stopping by!

Southern Girls Challenge #34

Over at Southern Girls we are having the last challenge of this year and the theme is "Lets Celebrate"....So we will leave it up to you on your project.
We have some wonderful examples on the Challenge Blog from  Design Team, so we'd love to have you hop on over to join us!

We have 2 fabulous sponsors this week Di's Digi Downloads is from Australia

Our International Sponsor is Stitchy Bear

I've used one of our Sponsor's digital images from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps which you can find here
The Christmas Candles were so fun to work with after I colored them with copic's then went over the ribbon with red stickles lightly and then edged it to make it pop a bit more.......
the candle flame is painted with shimmer gold then sponges around for a more glowing effect.   The edges of the spellbinder die-cut is also painted with shimmer paint, extra holly leafs are cri-cut then distressed, lastly the designer background paper I found in my stash is Basic Grey

I thought with a close-up the shimmer paint would show up a bit better!  The Christmas Candles can be found here.
Thanks for stopping by!
