Mixed bunch.....

Morning all, it looks set to be a beautiful day again, todays card reminds me of a hot indian summer.
I've used the mixed bunch stamp set and blossoms punch (in the summer mini catalogue) and some polka dot ribbon in melon mambo.

I just love the rich razzleberry, melon mambo and pumkin pie colours together.

I'm just about half way through my challenge now.
Another week to go of blogging everyday.

Also a quick reminder that today is the last day to get your mini summer catalogue orders, for the 10% discount, to me before the order goes in tonight.

Have a great day.

Stamping onto acetate

Here's todays card. I'm doing well with my challenge so far, it's been fun trying out stamp sets that I've not used that much.

I tried another new technique today, I stamped the flower onto acetate, punched it out and heated it a little to get the acetate to bend slightly.
I used my roller stamp (petite petals) and a scroll stamp from the Everything Eleanor set. The flower (mixed bunch stamp set) and matching punch (Blossom punch)  are from the summer mini catalogue.
I've used my favouriate Stampin Up colour melon mambo and teamed it with black and white

Don't forget to get in touch if you want to take advantage of my current offer on the Summer Mini catalogue.

I'll be back tomorrow.

Teacher thank you cards

This is a card made by my youngest Son, Owen who's 4.
Stampin up products don't just have to be for adults, my boys love crafting. They even help when I'm crafting, they just love turning the big shot handle.

Anyway here's the card that he made for his pre-school teachers to say thank you.

He used the mixed bunch stamp set, blossom punch and 1" circle punch. He used some non-SU stash as well for the background, gems (lots of them) and thank you sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by.

Scrapbooking Part Two

Good morning, as promised this is the other scrapbook page that I made this weekend.
This of another dog, Misty, she was our little old lady, we got her from a resuce home and she was a wreck, with fur missing, fleas and a right state. She may have only been with us for a year before her kidneys gave up, but it was a very happy year and she a transformed very happy little lady.

For this page I used SU ds paper that was in the last mini so unfortuntely it's no longer available. I've used the mixed bunch stamp set and blossom punch to create the flowers in the left corner with the leaves punched out using the build a bird punch.

I've been busy making some bookmarks and some treat packets recently that I hope to show you later this week, I'm also trying to finish off my eldest sons party invites. I've used the pennants parade stamp set and matching punch to decorate the invites, but still need to assemble the invites into the finished article before I can show you them

Happy crafting.

Blossom flowers

I made some more 3D flowers this week. This time I used the new mixed bunch stamp set from the SU mini catalogue and the co-ordinating blossom and 1" punches.

I used regal rose, lucky limeade and wistera wonder ink. After punching out the flower parts I attached then to some woodern skewers and built up three layers of the main flower and attached a different coloured center with dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by.

Latest Class Projects

Todays post is to show you a collection of cards and the flowers we made at my latest class in Carterton. We made a variety of cards including a fathers day card, we played with some things from the new catalogue as well as making some flowers.

The first card uses the mixed bunch stamp set with co-ordinating blossom punch. The edges are embossed using the new SU scoreboard and the card was finished off with a sentiment (stamp from Elementary Elegance SAB stamp set in whisper white), white bakers twine and some bling.

This card uses the new up, up and away stamp set and Twitterpated ds paper. I've used pretty in pink card stock with melon mambo and baja breeze ink.

This is the fathers day card we made using the need for speed stamp set. We used well worn ds paper, cajun craze and crumb cake card, not quite navy ink, denim jean ribbon, owl builder punch (for the circles), modern label and the word window punch.

The final project was Gerbera flowers. We got time to make one in the class and the ladies got a kit to take home to make another two flowers. I thought one would look a bit lonley in a vase!!
We used the flower daisies die, riding hood red and whisper white card stock.

My next class in Carterton is Thursday 7th June 7-9.30pm.
If you'd like to book a place please get in touch.

Thanks for looking
