Warmest Wishes

Happy Friday everyone!  Our weather here has been extremely cold and yesterday we got lots of snow.  It's so pretty to look out the window and see the fresh snow on all the pine trees and the ground.  But along with that snow came some very high winds, which made it feel even colder.  And I think they're calling for our temps to drop even lower so I guess I will just have to hibernate lol!  I don't like cold weather but I do love snowmen and that's what I'm sharing today.

This adorable snowman is Snowman Snapshot and he's a freebie over at Whimsie Doodles.  That's right ... he's free!  While you're over there be sure to check out all the digi stamps Melyssa has available.  I'm telling you right now that they are totally adorable so don't blame me if you end up doing some major shopping while you're there :)  Anyway, I colored this cute snowman with copics and used Glossy Accents on his nose and coal buttons.  I added some Glamour Dust to the white snowflakes.  I used an Impression Obsession die for the blue snowflakes and then added some pearls.  The sentiment is from the CC Designs AmyR Freezin' Season stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs, Anita

CC Designs November Review

Hello friends!  For those of you in the States, are you ready for the big turkey day?  What about the big sales on Friday?  Well, I do plan to eat way too much on Thanksgiving but I won't be fighting the crazy crowds on Black Friday.  Been there ... done that ... way too much craziness for me lol!

Today over on the CC Designs Blog we are previewing the fabulous stamps from the November release.  I decided to ink up these Sweet Penguins and the Swiss Pixie Snowy Wall.  I colored these cuties with copics and pencils of course.  I added some Glossy Accents to their beaks and feet and Glamour Dust to their candy and the snow.  The sentiment is from the new Christmas Sentiments II stamp set by AmyR Stamps.  Be sure to stop by the CC Designs Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.  I know you'll find lots of inspiration over there!

Thank you for stopping by.  Stay warm!

Good morning sweet friends.  Today is inspiration Tuesday over on the By LORi Designs Blog and we're sharing some fall-themed cards.

I used this sweet little pilgrim called Puddle Jumper Autumn Eliza on my card today.  OK, I do know that the pilgrims wore greys and browns but I just could NOT dress this little cutie in those drab colors ... so she got colored in yellows and greens lol!  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and added some ribbon, flowers, and tiny pearls.  The sentiment is from CC Designs and my papers are by Imaginisce.  Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of this amazing DT is sharing.  You'll find tons of inspiration over there!

Good morning friends!  We are starting a new Garden Variety Tuesday Challenge today over on the Greeting Farm Blog.  It's sweet Jodi's turn to choose the challenge this week and she wants to see us get a head start on the Holidays ... so she's asking us to make Christmas cards!

I used this adorable Holiday Anya 3 for my card and colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I added some Star Dust Stickles on the star in her hair.  I applied Liquid Applique to the muff and then zapped it with my heat gun to get a fluffy texture.  My snowflake dp is by Little Yellow Bicycle and is left over from last year's Christmas papers.

Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of the team is sharing.  Be sure to check out all the challenge details while you're there too!

You're Too Sweet

Happy Monday friends.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Mine was very relaxing and I got a lot of things done at home that I've been putting off for quite awhile.  But because I was so busy the time just flew by ... I'm already looking forward to next weekend lol!

Anyway, I did manage to get a card made using one of The Greeting Farm's new releases this month, Birthday Anya 3.  Isn't she a cutie?  I love her pigtails and she's so easy to color.  I used my usual copics and colored pencils to color her and then added some Glamour Dust to the heart in her hair.  I'm still trying to make myself use up some of the papers I've had in my stash awhile.  This dp is My Mind's Eye Dolled Up, and there's not much left in my 6x6 pad :)  I added some ribbon and a bow and then tied on the sentiment with some floss.  Finally, I added a few punched flowers with pearls.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Be Happy

Good morning friends!  I apologize for not being around to visit your blogs.  We took a few days off for a family vacation at our favorite lake, but we're back home now.  So I hope to be around to catch up soon :)

Today over on the Greeting Farm Blog we're starting a new Garden Variety Challenge!  Our lovely Jo picked our theme this week and she wants to see you use stickers.

I used the adorable WS Addy on my card today.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and then I used some Doodlebug Design dp.  I added some ribbon and buttons.  Now I have to admit that stickers aren't normally something that I have in my stash ... but I did run across a couple of packs of cute stickers by Simply Stories a few weeks ago.  I'm so glad I bought them so I could play along this week.  Anyway, I stamped my sentiment on the ticket sticker to finish off my card.

Be sure to pop over to the Greeting Farm Blog to see the great projects by the rest of the DT!  I hope you play along with us this week for a chance to win some yummy (no-calorie) candy.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sending Happy Thoughts

Happy Friday sweet friends.  I hope you have a fun and crafty weekend to look forward to.  Today is my grandson's 8th birthday so we have a long weekend of family fun planned.  I did want to pop on here and share a Sugar Nellie card that I made this week.

This beautiful image is I Like To Be Pretty and she's part of the new Summer Adorable release.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and added some Star Dust Stickles to her necklace.  The paper is My Mind's Eye and I've had it in my stash for quite awhile now ... I love the flowers in this pattern paper.  I added some gorgeous lace and a gingham bow.  The vine is a Memory Box die and the flowers are from a punch.  You can find this little sweetie and the rest of the Sugar Nellie images over at Funky Kits.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

GDT over at Creative Creations Challenges

Happy Monday to all of you.  As you may have guessed from the title of my post, I'm a Guest Designer this week over on the Creative Creations Challenges Blog.

When Katrina contacted me about being a GDT on one of their challenges I was so excited until she told me what their challenge is this week.  It's "monochromatic" ... yikes!  Sorry folks, I don't do monochromatic.  I run and hide when anyone even mentions that word lol!  It seems as though everyone I know loves to color with that technique.  So I decided I needed to give it a try and here's my card.

I used "Troublemaker" by Kenny K - I love this image!  I used my copics (the E's of course) and colored pencils.  I found some pearls and ribbons in brown and added those to my card.  So do I love my card?  No ... but I also don't hate it so that's a good sign :)  Now, be sure to stop by the Creative Creations Challenge Blog to see what their team is sharing with you today.  And thank you, Katrina, for inviting me to play along with your team this week!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita
