You're The Coolest

Good morning.  I wanted to share a winter card I made a couple of weeks ago but forgot to share on my blog.

This sweet little image is Snowflake and you can find her at CC Designs.  Isn't she adorable?  I think she would make a perfect Christmas card too but I went with a winter theme.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and then added some Glamour Dust to her hat and her snowflakes.  I used an older die from Impression Obsession to cut the snowflakes and then added a pearl to the center of each snowflake.  A very CAS card but easy to mail!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

I would like to enter my card in these challenges:

I used this adorable Fluffy Wabbit for my card.  This little cutie will be going to either my grandson or nephew so I wanted him to be bright and colorful.  He's colored with copics and colored pencils and there's Glossy Accents on his eyes and chocolate candy.  I added a few buttons to finish my card.  Since I'll be mailing this I didn't want to make it too bulky.

It's Time for a Sketch & a New Release

Good morning friends.  We've got a lot going on today over at Pollycraft Designs.  Paula has a new release so be sure to stop by and check them out ... they're adorable!  And since it's Monday, we also have a new challenge over on the Pollycraft Challenge Blog.  Our sweet Paula has drawn a sketch for our challenge this week and you can find all the details here

I used one of the new releases, Barclay's Star.  Isn't he the cutest little squirrel?  And he was so much fun to color.  I tried to add some texture to his tail by using different colors ... not sure if it really worked but I kinda like the way he turned out :)  He's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used Glossy Accents on his nose and teeth.  I paper pieced the large star and applied some glitter paint to both stars.  A bit of ribbon and some buttons finished my card.  My sentiment is from the Friend Stamp Set by Precious Remembrance Shop.

Our challenge is being sponsored by Bunny Zoe's Crafts and the lucky winner will receive a voucher to their shop.  Please stop by the Pollycraft Challenge Blog to see the gorgeous work by the rest of the DT.

Spring Has Sprung

Good morning friends.  It's Monday so that means we have a new challenge for you over on the Pollycraft Challenge Blog.  This week our lovely Joey chose the theme and she chose "Spring Has Sprung".  Fabulous theme and I think we are all looking forward to the arrival of warmer weather, right?

I used this adorable Swings and Slides 2 - Little Sprout image.  She reminds me of my daughter when she was little with those adorable pigtails.  Anyway, this cutie patoodie was colored with copics and colored pencils and then I cut her out and nestled her in the grass.  I thought this dp with the kite in the sky would be perfect for this spring scene.  My "fence" is a Martha Stewart punch.

Our challenge is being sponsored by Crimson Cloud.  Please be sure to stop by the Pollycraft Challenge Blog to see what my amazing DT teamies have created this week.

I used Cuthbert Skiing for my frosty, winter card.  He's colored with copics and colored pencils and I added some Glossy Accents to his nose.  There's Glamour Dust on the hat and jacket, and I embossed the diecut circle with a snowflake embossing folder.

A Few of My Favorite Things

Good morning friends.  I hope you had a fabulous weekend?  It's Monday so that means we have a new challenge for you over on the Pollycraft Challenge Blog.  It is our lovely Lou's turn to pick our theme and she wants us to show some of our favorite things.  So easy, right?

Since one of my favorite things is snowmen I decided to use this adorable Swings and Slides Merry Christmas - Snow Buds image.  I colored this cute couple with copics and colored pencils.  I added some of my very favorite Glamour Dust for some sparkle.  I'm also very fond of snowflakes, pearls, and ribbon so those got tossed onto my card too :)  These are just a few of my favorite things.  If I added all of my favorites I would have to make my card about 12" x 12" just to hold them all lol!
