Hello friends. I have a quick and easy holiday card to share today.
This image is Jingle Bell by Meljen's Designs. I colored the image with copics and colored pencils. I used Creative Inspirations paints in Raw Sienna and Fairy Dust on the jingle bell, and then I added Resplendence Angel Dust fine glitter on the holly berries. The sentiment is by PTI and my papers were left over from last year.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Hugs, Anita

Buttons and Bows at Divas by Design
It's Wednesday so that means we have a new challenge for you over on the Divas By Design Challenge Blog. Our new challenge is Buttons and/or Bows.
I used Sweet Sundae by Meljen's Designs on my card. I colored this yummy sundae with copics and colored pencils. I used Glossy Accents on the fudge sauce and cherry, and Liquid Applique for the whipped topping. The pink ice cream actually matches my paper better IRL but wow, it sure is bright in this picture, huh? Anyway, I used a doily, some ribbon with a bow, and a button.
We are being sponsored by Meljen's Designs this week so be sure to stop by the Divas By Design Challenge Blog to find out all the details and to see the gorgeous work by the rest of the DT. Sadly, this is my last challenge with the Divas as I've decided to step down. But I do want to thank Rebekah and all the other sweet ladies over there for being such amazing teamies! You girls rock ;)
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Anita

Summer Snowman
** Click here to see my birthday blog candy **
Hello friends. It has been unbearably hot here ... in the low to mid-90's and the humidity is stifling. I know I shouldn't complain because when this winter rolls around I'll be wishing for warm weather lol! So I thought maybe I'd color something that might make me forget about the heat :)
This cute snowman is Summer Snowman by Meljen's Designs. You can find this cool dude over at Whimsy Stamps. I used my colored pencils to color this image. Since this snowman doesn't require a lot of coloring, this card was fast and easy. I added Glamour Dust to the snowman and melting snow. Then I used Glossy Accents on the sunglasses and snow puddle. I wrapped some twine around my card, added a button, and it was done!
Please be sure to stop by the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog to see the inspiring projects by the dt. We also have a new challenge starting today and you can get all the details while you're there.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Red, White and Blue
Hello friends! Only one more day till the weekend ... yeah! Since it's Thursday that means we have a new challenge for you over on the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog. If you read the title of my post then you've probably already guessed our challenge is to use red, white & blue!
I used Meljen's Designs Ivy Wreath Heart. I colored this lovely wreath with copics and colored pencils. I added lots of Glamour Dust to the stars. My papers are a mix of Basic Grey and My Mind's Eye. I picked these up at my LSS and they're perfect for patriotic projects. I used some brads and ribbon with a bow. Is it just me or do brads seem to be the forgotten embellishment? I have tons of them and I like them, but I never seem to remember to use them anymore. That's OK, I'll hang onto mine and before you know it, they'll be the "hot" embellishment again lol!
Here's the latest Meljen's Designs release. You can find these fabulous images over at Whimsy Stamps. Please be sure to stop by the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog to see the fabulous work by the rest of the DT.

Bubble Bath Bunny
Hello friends! I have a new card to share today. I used an older Meljen's Designs image that is one of my favorites!
Isn't this bunny the cutest? I think this was one of the first Meljen's Designs images I ever saw and I absolutely loved it. I colored the image with copics and colored pencils and used lots of Glamour Dust on the bubbles. I added a ribbon and bow, and a button tied with embroidery floss.
Well, since it's Thursday we have a new challenge over at the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog. This week the team is challenging you to use pink and pearls. This theme is perfect for the new Meljen's Designs that are being released today.

A New Release at Meljen's Designs
Hello peeps. We have a new release over at Meljen's Designs and it's just in time for Father's Day.
I used Number One Dad on my card. I love this image, and the stripes and plaids were so much fun to color. I used copics and colored pencils and added a little bit of twine and a few buttons. That's right ... no stickles, glitter, or flowers :)
Here's the latest Meljen's Designs release and you can find all these fabulous images over at Whimsy Stamps. Meljen's Designs Challenge
Happy Friday! Wow, I was beginning to think the weekend would never get here. This has been a really long week for me and I am soooo ready for some R & R this weekend. Anyhow, Meljen's Designs has a new challenge so I have a card to share with you today.
I used Stitched Swirls Heart on my card. I can think of so many uses for this pretty image. In addition to Memorial Day and Independence Day, I thought this image would be great for a card to a soldier. I colored the image with copics and colored pencils and added StarDust stickles to the yellow star. The border punch is by Fiskars and the ribbon and button are from my stash. Be sure to stop by the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog to see what the amazing DT have created this week.

Lazy Susan Buggies
Hello friends. We have a new challenge this week over at the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog. Our challenge this week is Graduation. I'm sure we all need some graduation cards this time of year, so why not join in our challenge?
While I definitely need to get some graduation cards made, I decided I'd work on those later as I've been wanting to color this image for so long. This image is called Lazy Susan Buggies and I love this image. I absolutely adore these daisies with the bumble bees and ladybugs. I think it's one of my favorite Meljen's Designs images ... well, OK, I know I say that about all of them lol! I colored with my copics and colored pencils and added some StarDust stickles to the bumble bees and tiny hearts. I added a little Glossy Accents to the ladybugs. I love the red and white combo. I think it looks so crisp and summery.
Be sure you stop by the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog to see what the talented DT members have come up with this week. Pictured below is the latest Meljen's Designs release. Aren't they perfect for your graduation cards? I hope you are able to join in our challenge this week.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you're enjoying your weekend!

A Measure of Love
Happy Thursday friends. I hope you've been having a fantastic week so far. We've been having a lot of rain (again) so I've used that as a reason to stay inside and get some cards finished. Since it's Thursday, that means we have a new challenge over at the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog. Our challenge this week is to make a 4" x 9 1/4" card.
I used Garden Fairy and Measure of Love on my card. These are two of the images from Meljen's adorable new release. I used copics and colored pencils to color the images. I've added some stickles to the fairy's hearts and wings. I used Glossy Accents on the measuring cup and hearts. I used a little bit of ribbon and a pretty little bow to finish my card.
Be sure to stop by the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog to check out the beautiful work by the awesome DT. Here's the latest Meljen's Designs release. Aren't they all adorable? You can find these images and all the other Meljen's Designs images at Whimsy Stamps.
