Day two of sneak peeks at Stamping Bella!

 

Hello again!

Are you ready for more Holiday release sneak peek fun at Stamping Bella? Day two is focusing on all of the new stamps by Kristin Farnsworth and I've got two cards that I've made using three of the images.

My first card pairs Lunettes Angus the Alchemist with Lunettes Ghost because I saw these two as the perfect duo of little trick or treaters. Lunettes Ghost must be kinda shy because he is always hiding behind his friend. The neighborhood background was colored in by hand and the sentiment is from the Spooky Sentiments set. 

 

Next, I have a card using the cute Black Cat Magic stamp set, and this kitty is looking quite bewitching in his very own witch's hat. Off to the side the cauldron is bubbling and brewing, which not only looks great with our magical kitty here but I also can't wait to pair it with a few other Stamping Bella stamps in my craft stash as well. This time the sentiment I used to complete the scene is from the Tiny Townie Willow the Witch set.

New release sneak peeks at Stamping Bella!

 

Hello again!

Sneak peeks for the Fall/Halloween/Christmas release at Stamping Bella start today. Over the next three days the rest of the team and I will be sharing cards using all of the new stamps that will be available for purchase on Friday, September 27th at noon EST. Today the focus is on the delightful new images by Amy Glatiotis
and I've got two cards that I've made.

This first one finds Fall is Fun Girl strolling through the park with her pumpkin spice latte in hand. The colorful Autumn leaves are falling all around her as she happily takes in all of the beauty of the season that surrounds her.

Next up is the Little Witch and her Pals, who is busy working a spell on her bewildered pup. They are also joined by a friendly ghost who seems very excited to have someone to fly around with. I colored them into a wooded scene full of Fall colors and finished off the card with a sentiment from the Spooky Sentiments set.

Release day at Hello Bluebird!

 

Good morning! 

The wait is almost over because today is release day at Hello Bluebird! The new September Fall and Halloween kits will hit the virtual shelves at 7pm MDT tonight and you'll want to check them out early because once something sells out it will not be restocked. To help celebrate I've got two cards to share using the darling squirrels from the new Nuts for Fall set that will be included in the larger expanded kit option. 

First up is a mini slimline scene where I've gone a bit outside my coloring comfort zone. Rather than create an entire scene, I've instead stamped some of the playful squirrels directly onto the large leaf dies from the Colors of Fall die set, which is an add-on this month. Once I had them all colored into little grey squirrels with matching fall colored backgrounds I positioned the leaves falling down the length of the mini slimline background. The large Fall Words die that is included in the expanded kit was glued down first along with the acorns that are also in the Colors of Fall die set. All but one of the leaves were added using foam adhesive, to lift them up and make it easier for them to overlap each other and the rest of the elements already added to the card. I'll be honest, it felt a bit odd not creating a scene but everything about this card just makes me smile.  :)

 

My second card finds two of the Nuts for Fall squirrels resting on a branch together, one appears to be gifting the other with a yummy acorn. To change things up a bit, I colored these cuties as little red squirrels and embraced a more clean and simple design. Gallery Frame #1 surrounds the simple blue sky background and I filled the empty space below the branch with a sentiment that I cut out using the Knightley LC Large Alpha dies. The rest of the sentiment is also included in the Nuts for Fall set and another acorn die cut from the Colors of Fall die set was the perfect finishing touch for this sweet belated birthday card.
