Star Trek the Next Generation - The Little Klingons room toilet sign

Hi there stitchers

You may remember from my last design that I had a crazy idea for Star trek toilet signs. If you did not see that here is a link:

This design is based off Worf from Star Trek the Next Generation. He wears a grey sash on top of his uniform which honors his Klingon Heritage.

Do you think there will be different bathrooms for different alien races on star ships or does everyone have to learn to use a human bathroom? I imagine the Klingon Facilities will need to be very sturdy.

Hello Everyone,

Today I want to present to you a cross stitch design of a cute little cat cactus or should it be a catus?

I wanted to challenge myself to make a design that was small and detailed without getting too crowded with backstitch.

Much love and Happy Stotching

Hello everyone,

Today I bring you a motif of a White faced black Spanish chicken. SIne I made this design featuring a crowing rooster Wake up and be awesome, rooster crowing cross stitch design I have been looking up various breeds of chicken. There are so many lovely types of them so I had to draw one!

This Rooster design makes use of backstitch to make the fluffy tail. I do wonder if Roosters spend a long time grooming their feathers to remain all shiny and handsome for the hens.

Would you like me to draw some more chickens?

Much Love and Happy stitching

I love to watch the Robins in the local park. They are very bold birds for their size and quick too. You have to be really watching out for a flash of red to see them.

Hello Everyone,

On one of my favourite cross stitch Facebook groups a great conversation started about this design idea. So I cannot take credit for the Stabulous phrase but I ran with it and created this design.

I have charted this up in all regular DMC but if you are feeling brave you could use a few metallic colours on the sparkles. Some seed beads in the center of the sparkles or dotted throughout the hair would also add a magical touch. I will leave these choices up to the stitcher as I know some people find metallic thread and beads fiddily. Plus you can customize the design as you fee fit, Be creative and see what you come up with.

Much Love and happy stitching.

Hello Everyone,

A few of my friends and I like to make a start on our Christmas cards in January while we are still feeling inspired from Christmas. So for fellow early Christmas card creators heres a lovely reindeer design. Since this design is only one colour it will be easy to switch up to colours to match your card stock or just what you think looks nice.
This design could look great in variegated thread too in a fun Christmas gradient.

I left the center of the design plain so that you can add your own message. From a simple Merry Christmas to a fancier Joyeux Noel the choice is yours.

Grand piano top black and white cross stitch design

Grand piano top black and white cross stitch design

This first design reads:

Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything!

This design contains a whole lot of backstitch for the letters but will be worth it if you want to display this poetic quote.

Finally heres a teeny tiny little grand piano design using just a little backstitch to create the edge of the white keys and the black keys on the piano keys.

Hello everyone,

Today I wanted to share a new Christmas design for anyone not feeling too Christmassy this year.
Its been quite the year hasn't it? So I'll be making this as this years Christmas decoration.

For this picture the Humbug is a humbug sweet. If you have not tried one of these delightful snacks before its a boiled sweet usually flavoured with Peppermint which is striped black and white. Though other colour and flavour combinations exist the back and white minty sweets are by far the most often seen.

Hello everyone,

I was asked for a couple of designs which only used one colour to keep my nieces busy while they visited Grandma without having to bring along lots and lots of threads. I chose green for these because green is very festive and goes with almost any other Christmas decoration but theres no reason to stick with green if theres another colour you'd love. Why not try one of these with some variegated thread to really let the colour variations of the thread show through.

If you wanted the areas which are white in the original design to be a different colour you could always fill this in or to save yourself a little time (since there's always many Christmas cards to sew at once) change up the colour of the aida to something which compliments or contrasts with the embroidery thread you are stitching with.

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas time and can have great fun with their family as well as fitting in a little relaxing stitching in the holidays.

Much love and happy stitching
Gemma xx

The downloadable PDF version of this design is available on the Buzy Bobbins Ko-Fi page:

Hello everyone,

Today I have a space themed cross stitch for you. These can be used as individual motifs or all together as one big stitch. I designed this with a space mad child in mind. When I was a child I was fascinated with space, I had those glow in the dark stars and made sure to place them on my ceiling in the shape of constellations so I could practice spotting them before I sleep. I even had a scientific star chart on my wall to Make sure I could correctly identify all constellations in the northern hemisphere.
So this chart is for all the kids like I was who loved to learn about space.
