Bright yellow School bus cross stitch design

Yellow school bus cross stitch design

Thread numbers

Hello Everyone

Today I have a bright yellow school bus cross stitch design for you. This design is quite large but easy to stitch as it only has whole stitches, no backstitch, French knots or half stitches here.

This was designed with a young boys bedroom in mind.\Not only does he love all vehicles he loves bright colours and bold shapes so I incorporated it all together in this one.

The yellow is based off a American school bus but it will be easy to change up the colours of the design to your childs favourite colour or to look like a different type of bus.

Much love and happy stitching

 Preview

Cross stitch Design with grid

Thread numbers

Hello everyone,
Today I have a fun yellow digger cross stitch design, this bold design will be fun for construction vehicle mad kids to decorate their rooms or make them a fun squishy cushion. You don't need to stick exactly to these thread numbers if you'd like to include the childs favourite colour as the main vehicle colour. Just be sure to change up the orange highlights to a colour that complements the one you chose.

Much love and happy stitching

Hello everyone,

A friend mentioned that there was not many cross stitch designs of modern trains. Of course as any seasoned cross stitcher would know there are loads of designs of steam trains (or even Thomas the Tank Engine characters) they make some lovely stitches to sew with all the detail and the beauty of steam. However there are many kids who would associate trains with the modern sleek high speed trains we see today.

So this one is for all the train enthusiasts who want something a little more modern for their stitching or decoration.

Much love and happy stitching

Hello everyone,

I hope you all like spaceships, I got an urge to draw yet another spaceship. I should probably rename the next month vehicles month and just run with all of the ideas for designs I've had which are to to with vehicles. To be frankly honest this week my drawing challenge was the statue of Liberty so after lots of research and at least 5 attempts I ended up closing my cross stitch program in a rage (without saving) one cup of tea later I then decided to draw something a little easier.

This design is for people like my friend who likes to fill in between the lines. She tells me after a long day filling in large blocks of the same colour is relaxing (like colouring in) and she doesn't have to worry about checking with the chart, and just stitch away while watching a TV show before bed and keeping an ear out for the baby monitor.

Anyway Much love and happy stitching

Hello everyone,

Today I was considering getting out the bunnys and cute chicks but really wanted to draw something quite dynamic before getting stuck into cute Easter cross stitches.
So heres a space ship blasting off into space. This design looks like its on a cloth badge as if it could be sewn onto the jumpsuit of a space explorer.
This design could be a nice bright addition to the bedroom of a kid who is mad about space, perhaps sewn on to a cushion so they can dream of space adventures every night. I'd quite like to see this on the back of a jacket. I wonder if it will look good on my denim jacket?

Hello everyone,

Today I'd like to share with you all a cross stitch design of one of my favourite cars the Mini Cooper. It is so small and cute I really want one but for now I'll have to make do with the little toy car my nephew for me for my birthday last year. That was super thoughtful of him even if I'd really like the full sized version.

This cross stitch design is made to be in whole stitches without half stitches or French knots and only a small bit of backstitch on the headlights so hopefully its easy enough for even beginners to pick up and have a go.
Changing up the main colour of the car is really simple since I have only used two colours for it. When changing out the colours take the brighter colour and sew that in place of the red on my original design.

The reference image for this cross stitch design can be found here:

Here I'd normally give links to related patterns but I looked through my list and found I actually don't have a vehicles category. Well I must fix that starting with this pattern. I'll make sure to design a few more vehicles for people to sew but for now have a random selection of links :)
