Bentley Introduces 8-Speed Auto on All Continental GT and GTC Models for the 2013MY


Bentley has announced some important new model year changes for its W12-powered Continental GT coupe and GTC convertible vehicles.

Both cars get a new engine management system along with an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF that replaces the previous six-speed unit and an energy recuperation system.

Scoop: 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur with New Entry Level V8 Bi-Turbo Engine


Just the other day, we posted the first spy shots of the redesigned 2014 model year Bentley Continental Spur. The white-colored prototype model featured in those pictures was fitted with a tweaked version of the British firm's 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine.

Now, our spies have sent us a new set of images of a dark grey test car that is believed to be equipped with the Audi-sourced 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 found on the base versions of the refreshed Continental GT coupe and Continental GTC convertible models.

Spy Shots: 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur Prototype Caught with Fake S-Class Camo


You have to admit that Bentley's people had a great sense of humor when it came to covering up a prototype for the updated 2014 Continental Flying Spur sedan.

The British firm's engineers devised a funny looking set of headlamp and taillight decals and fake wheel arch moldings with the intention of creating the illusion of a…Mercedes-Benz S-Class limo.
