Good morning everyone & happy Saint Brigid's day to you all :) I'm sure all my Irish friends will remember making the crosses in school lol. Anyway, enough of my rambling, it's time for the start of another monthly challenge from

Carnival
I had such a hard time deciding what direction to go with my project.
I knew I wanted to create my own backgrounds & as I had been shopping at my fav craft shop I had just the stamps I wanted to use. I started off with a black card base, I stamped the edges with my stamp & versamark & dusted mica powder over it. For my red panel, I used fired brick distress ink & flicked some water droplets onto it before soaking it up with some kitchen paper, I love the effect this gives (even if I did end up covering most of it with my image)
I used the same stamp that I used on the base & this time stamped it in memento black ink. I used templates to cut out my ticket shapes & again inked them with distress inks. I then over stamped them with some more of my new stamps :)
My image was coloured with my promarkers (oooohhhhh & today I finally completed the collection, so now it's onto Flex markers, no wonder I never have any money lol) & I cut it into an oval & matted it onto more black. She's a retired image from Sassy Studio Designs but do stop by as there are so many fab images there.
I die cut & rolled my roses, dipped them in glue & then red or silver fine glitter. I cut some leaves out too & then assembled my card. I finished off with a flat back black pearl from my stash.
I'll add the stamps I used & where I got them below, as I know some of you will love them as much as me :)
