Through The Purple Haze - #27

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I am so excited today as it's my birthday & today I'll be the proud owner of a new melt pot, yippeeee & to top it all off I'll have a cameo in the next few days too, oh this year is looking good so far :)
To keep me in good mood I am happy to say it's the turn of team A to bring you projects & loveliness for

Through The Purple Haze Challenges
& this week we are sponsored by
Sponsors
& the lucky winner will get to choose 4 digis from the store, good hey.
So, our theme this week is
"Love Is In The Air"
& here is my make
I got to play with this fab image called "French Maid"
I decided to make an easel card as I haven't made one in a long time & I wanted the image to pop. My DP is from Papermania. The red & black card were offcuts from my bit box. I die cut a heart & stamped onto it in black memento

I ran some silver mirror card through an embossed folder & cut out some of the hearts, I think they look a little like charms. I used peel offs for my sentiment

My image was coloured with my, now complete except for limited edition, promarkers. I used all the Cool Greys & Black. Her skin is my go to combo of Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush & Baby Pink
The reds I used were Burgundy, Cardinal Red & Ruby. I added highlights of glitter to the shoes
& there ya have it.
Thanks so much for stopping by & I do hope you'll join us for our challenge.

The Stamping Chef - NR Mirror Mirror.

Good morning beautiful people, it's a cold one here in County Wicklow, but to brighten this grey day we have this week's new release from
& as usual it's a beauty, she's called Mirror Mirror & you can find her here
Now before I share my make with you I want to remind you to pop by the blog to check out all the fun stuff going on for the 1st birthday of TSC & if you aren't already a member of our Facebook group, you can find us here
So, here is my make.

I adore her. For my card I used black cardstock as my mats & layered red cardstock onto it. The red had been stamped (for the back layer) & the top layer has a mask used on it. I used black soot distress ink.

I cut out a piece of coredinations with a die, ran it through an embossing folder & sanded it back. I then tied a bow & added it to one corner, using card candi in another.

I used my promarkers to colour the image. I then cut it out & mounted it onto the die cut, & there you have it. I kept it quite simple as I thought I'd let the image do the talking so to speak

Thanks so much for stopping by, I really do appreciate it.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Brown Sugar: Anything Goes
Just Add Ink: masking
Sister Act Card Challenge: Anything Goes
Charisma Cardz: Anything Goes

The Stamping Chef New Release - Leg or Breast

It's Friday so that means that as well as the weekend being in sight it's time for a New Release from

Cover Photo

The lovely Tamara has brought us another fantabulous image this week, she's called
Leg or Breast & you can find her here & for this weekend only you'll be able to get her with 20% off, great isn't it :)
& so here is my make

I found some digi papers that had a turkey on them & thought they'd be perfect.
I layered them onto mats & wrapped some satin ribbon around one of the layers.
I then die cut lots of flourishes & leaves, I cut too many cos I didn't know how I wanted it laid out, I'm sure most of you do that too. Aw sure though, they won't go to waste.

She's been coloured up with my pen of choice, promarkers. I struggled with the colours for the turkey, but ended up using raw sienna, gold & mustard, with a touch of buttercup.

So there you have it, I hope you like what I have done with her.

Also if you aren't a member of our Facebook Group yet, be sure to pop by & say hi. We also have challenges over on the blog, click here for our current challenge.
