Gel-a-tins Cards

As my last month designing for Gel-a-tins comes to an end in October, I thought I better put together a little catch up post of some of my cards that have been featured on their blog but not yet posted on mine.

This first card features the "Save the Date" set. I really loved this one because it could be used on both cards and layouts.

Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye
Die Cuts: Silhouette
Stamp: Gel-a-tins

The next two cards are using the "Chocolate Bliss" set. I just love the "You are a truffle in a chocolate bar world" stamp!

Gel-a-tins Save The Date

Another layout to share using Gel-a-tins Save the Date stamp set. This set has proven to be very versatile as I've used it on both cards and layouts now and you'd never know they were from the same set.

I created this layout (shared on the Gel-a-tins blog) about Mason's 2nd set of swimming lessons with Daddy. Mason graduated from Kinderswim last December.

Creating with Gel-a-tins

Well apparently time has gotten away from me again and it's been a couple weeks since my last blog post. I've been having so much fun creating with my Gel-a-tins Stamps and thought it's about time I shared some of my creations that have been on the Gel-a-tins Blog lately.

I created the following two cards with the very fun Happy Halloween set! I just adore that little bat!

Playing Catch Up!

Well it's been a while and I'm sorry I haven't been able to post since the 8th. August has been crazy. My hubby's 30th birthday was at the beginning of the month and shortly after that we headed off to Alberta to visit my sister in law. We had such a fabulous time! Here's one of my favourite pictures from Alberta.

This post is going to be a bit of a catch up post so I'm going to share with you a layout done for the Scrapping Turtle and a layout created for Gel-a-tins Stamps.

First up is the layout for the Scrapping Turtle, created with Authentique Paper. The challenge for this particular layout was a hidden element and I chose to hide my journaling (partially because I ran out of room and partially because I had this great envelope from Maya Road to use).

Cardstock: Core'dinations
Patterned Paper: Authentique Paper
Envelope: Maya Road
Letters: Jillibean Soup & Doodlebug Design

Next up is a layout done with Gel-a-tins Button Up stamps. I think these are going to get a lot of use on my layouts and cards.

Patterned Paper: October Afternoon
Journal Paper: Jenni Bowlin
Stamps: Gel-a-tins
Die Cut Title: Silhouette

Gel-a-tins Buttons & Stitches

Sometimes you sit down at your scrap table with no plan in mind other than to just create. This was one of those times. I knew I planned on working with Gel-a-tins Button Up stamp set but that was it. I flipped through a few magazines and found a layout with circles that inspired me so I started cutting circles, and more circles, and more circles and before I knew it....I looked down and the circles were in perfect placement. All I had to do was adhere them down, add my picture and title and few stamp accents and it had created itself!

Gel-a-tins Button Flowers

Just a quick post today because I've been on the couch for the past 2 days with a stomach bug. Here's a card I created for Gel-a-tins with their Button Up stamp set! I love that this set can be used as flower centres and stems!

Out of this World

Today I want to share with you a card I made for Gel-a-tins using their Shifting Gears stamps set. I love how this card turned out and I'm going to have a really hard time giving it to someone and parting with it. What is very different for me and this card is there is no patterned paper at all. This card consists solely of cardstock, stamps and rub-ons.

Take Me To Your Leader!

I've been having fun playing around with an older set from Gel-a-tins; the Shifting Gears set. I love this for adding something extra to my boy pages.

Today on the Gel-a-tins Blog, my layout "Take Me to Your Leader" is featured along with fellow DT member Angela's card using Spin Cycle.

This layout is about my son and this cheesy face he kept making for a while every time I put the camera up to take a picture. Therefore....I have a ton of similar shots!

Just a Little Note

It's June and I have a sinus infection. Who gets one of those in the Summer? Come to think of it, I think I did last Summer! Geesh!

So...today's post is going to be a quick one. Just wanted to share a card I created for Gel-a-tins using the Unbeleafable set again!

Opa Hugs

What's better than a hug from Opa? I love the picture in this layout because Mason had just started to give hugs and you can see how much it means to Opa.

I created this layout for Gel-a-tins using their Unbeleafable stamp set. I wanted to show the versatility of the set and that it didn't just have to be used as a nature set.

Inspired Blueprints & Gelatins

Have you heard of Inspired Blueprints? They are a fun sketch challenge site that I stumbled upon a few months back and I love a good sketch challenge! Be sure to check them out.

Here's my layout based upon sketch #71. I had fun with this one as my Gel-a-tins Shifting Gears Stamps matched perfectly with the theme of the layout. I love these pics of my little guy playing cars. It's such a boy thing and it's so freakin' cute. He's even started making little car noises as he runs the cars along the ground.

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter!! I've had a wonderful Easter with my family. It was my son's 2nd Easter and his 1st really aware of what was happening. What fun it was for me to see his eyes light up when he found a new egg on his Easter Egg Hunt!

What would a great Easter weekend be without a little scrapbooking. I created the card below based on CPS Sketch 215 using my latest Gel-a-tins Stamps.

This set from Gel-a-tins called Unbeleafable is super cute and I'm sure I'll get a ton of use out of it!

Happy Easter with Gel-a-tins

Just wanted to share a card I created while playing around with my Gel-a-tins Stamps. My sister in law moved out to Alberta last year and will be alone for Easter so I'll be sending this card off to her!

For this card I used the Wild Things set and the Easter Bunnies set.
