As so many of you know from the title of my new ebook, mixed media art is my passion--I love creating as do many of you!

Well, imagine my surprise today when I found out that I became a Ginger Gem on Gingersnap Creations--I was sooo excited!

This cigar box created with images from Dezinaworld, as well as many other embellishments is the piece that I entered into the challenge~Imagine my delight when I found out that it is a winning piece--I was so happy!

But, there is a new challenge there and I am submitting this vintage bottle that is a mixed media piece in white because the challenge is to create art in white and/or soft yellow. If you'd like to enter, just go to Gingersnap Creations HERE.

Both of these pieces are in my Etsy store~Thank you to everyone at Gingersnap Creations!!

A Little Vintage

Hi Everyone~

I wanted to show you some of my latest vintage finds in my Etsy store!

This is an authentic vintage Syroco frame made in 1958. As many of you know, the Syroco-style is the rage in Shabby Cottage decorating these days...I gave it a brand-new coat of Heirloom White paint and added this Eiffel Tower graphic from The Graphics Fairy.

When I saw the frame, it was "love at first sight!"
(This book bundle has been sold.)

I was also fortunate to find this dainty Syroco-style vintage frame by Burwood with a lace effect--also painted it Heirloom White and added this sweet ballerina graphic from The Graphics Fairy~

Both of the frames are available in my shop...

And this book bundle is available also. The image is from The Graphics Fairy. It is in my brand-new 2 Market 2 Market section of the shop where everything is $10 and under! (Sorry, the candlesticks have been sold.)

Many blessings to each and every one of you.

Here is Veronica on a trip to Italy.

And here is a full-view of this basket.

This is one of Veronica's photos of Italy that
inspired this new creation.

I hope you have a wonderful day and if you would like to visit Veronica's blog it is here!

Some Shabby Goodness for You!

My entry for the Altered Egg Challenge.

I just completed this Heartsong Bird tin. I no sooner got it put into my shop, then I received an email that it was chosen for a Shabby Chic Etsy Treasury--I was excited! If you'd like to see the other items in the treasury, just push the link.

Tee's Egg

I have been altering books for several months now, but they have all been sent off to various galleries, so I was very excited to have this one to alter and put into my Etsy store tonight! I just love placing them on a table to create a truly vintage look.

I hope you're all having a beautiful day!

and The Vintage Egg Challenge! at Tee's Blog!

The music paper came from the Graphics Fairy--thank you, Karen!!
