Batty About You

Hi all 👋 This month I'm sharing my colouring of the cutest little bats ever, Oddball Bats About Candy from Stamping Bella.

I stamped the bats using Memento Tuxedo Black on Perfect Colouring Paper.

Instead of grey or black, I used the BV colours for the body.
BV20, BV23, BV25 and BV31.

R21 for the ears.

On the pumpkin I used YR 09, YR16, YR18, E84 and E87

YR 09, YR16, YR18, YR23, Y06, Y08, BV000 for the candy corn

(oops, I just noticed I forgot to colour their noses. BV20, BV23, and BV25)

RV55, RV66 and RV69 for the lolly, with some added white gel pen.

For the chocolate bar wrapping I used YG63, YG67 and I used YG21 for the lightest areas. For the chocolate I used E74, E77, and E79

Finally, for the ground I used E30, E31 and E34 and I added some white stripes to the chocolate bar using white gel pen.

Aren't these bats just the adorable?

That's it from me for today.
I hope you find some time to colour your favourite Halloween images.

Funny Gloves and PLAYING with Colors

Hi Copic Lovers. Cicci here posting!

Today I'm going to show you how I did these colorful gloves. I also want to show you how you can color without any plans for the painting-just go with the feeling and the flow. My feeling about this is that I want to make some gloves in many colors-so lets see what happens on the coloring process.

You don't have to use the same colors/markers that I did!!

Copic Markers I have used for the background

Forest: B39 B99 B37 B00 B32

Trees: E23 E57 Y02 E47

Pumpkin: YR09 YR24 YR21 Y02 R24 YR05

Sky: Same as the forest and I have also added some V04 R14 and used a white Sakura gel pen for the highlights.

Jacket: Lots of dark B39 and RV99 just to get the darkness in the jacket

Hat: B00  Y02 Y04 Y08 YG03 YG99 R14 YG95 YR05 YR09

Skin: Y02 E33 E31 R14 YR05 R22 E53 E51

Hair: B00 R14 YR24 BG93 R24 Y02 BG02

Eyes: B39 YG99 YG03 Y02 Y08

Step 1

I draw this first.

I have started to make some dots with B02

Blue and yellow is great together so I use Y04 in the next step

For making this a little more fun I use R56 and let's see what's happening with that combo

Blend with Y04

Add R05
And see how that works together?
Yellow and orange is good friends sooo  I think that's a great combo

Add Y08 and blend with that marker

Use R24

Add RV06
Here I did some lines

B04 over the other colors and also make some lines

Add R14

Blend with Y04, and add Y02 in the middle of the gloves

   Add YR07

Add BG53

I have made some shine around the gloves and also some dots with a white gel pen You can use posca pen as well. Use what you have!!

In this post I want to show that you can color with any markers you have and you can mix a lot and even make some pattern with your  markers.
I hope you try this and just color and see what happens on the way!!
I promise you that you going learn a lot in the coloring process!!

Welcome again anytime you feel like it and

Lots of HUGS and SMILES

Wryn Rock Slimline Shaker Card

Hi all,

Are you ready for a new post?
Today I am showing my new slimline shaker card with this fun digital stamp from Tiddly Inks, called Wryn the rocker.

I have printed the digi onto Perfect Colouring paper and have started colouring...
inspired by my own little rocker in the house.

Skin : E00, E11, E04, R20, R22

Hair : YR21, YR12, E23, E57, E59

Skirt : B05, B28, B39

Shirt& stockings : BG23, BG49, BG78

Boots : E29, E18, E08

Guitar : E97, E99, N8, N10

The image was ready to be fussy cut ...

Behind the image I have added a rotating mechanism. This die is fun as you do not have anything popping out on the other side

Time to assemble to whole card..
I have cut a piece of white cardstock (17 x 21cm) and scored it on 8.5 cm to create the card base .

The slimline die was cut twice, one time out of special cardstock, and one time out of foam.

I have put a piece of acetate in between ..in this way the shaker was easy to create.
I have passed  a anti static pouch onto the acetate ..just to make sure not everything sticks to the acetate.

Slim postage die : Whimsy
Musical notes : Marianne Design
Letters : I -crafters
Stitched rectangle : MFT
Rotating mechanism : Impronte D'autore

When you move the shaker, the mini pearls and mini musical notes diecuts will move..
And if you touch the coloured image it seems she is a real rocker that moves forward and backwards.

The letters were cut out of blue green foam and black card stock.

Hope you have enjoyed my "rocker" post..see you next post!
Thanks for visiting the blog.

Forest Fairy in Copic Markers and Coloured Pencils

Colouring can by very invigorating and it helps me to relax. This time I have used a greyscale colouring sheet by Christine Karron.

1st layer of the skintone is E50.

Add BG01 as shadow.

Add YG11 as well.

Add E00 on top of the BG01/YG11.
Blend all layers together with E000.

1st layer in the eyes is BG01.

Use W3 for shading the eyes. I also used YG11 in her eyes and on her eyelashes.

Eye: add some B63 for more depth,
use V04 on her lips,
1st layer in her hair is B66.

Use some B69 for more depth in her hair and add some V05 on her lips.

Her face still looks a bit pale, so I decided to add some R21 on het cheeks and nose.
Add shading in her hair with B69.

Her hair can look a bit dull So I decided to add some extra  V04, BG01 ad YG11.

Blend the layers of hair together with the B63.

Use  YG11 on all the leaves and V04 on all the flowers and berries. .

Add more depth to the flowers with V06 and more shading in the leaves with YG13.

For the darkest shadows I use V09 in the flowers and B69 for the leaves.

Blend all layers together.

When the colours get dull I add some more of the darkest colours to let them pop again.

I also use some coloured pencils for more depth. Use a white marker for highlights.

Have a fun day and I will see you back next month.
