It's a Birthday Celebration kind of day...make a wish!
Friday's always mean an all new TGIF Challenges! This week we have an inspirational abstract image to help get your creativity flowing! I can't wait to see what everyone is inspired to create!
I love the textured black background with white splatters, so I stared there! I embossed a piece of Basic Black with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and splattered it with Whisper White ink.
It's Friday and you all know what that means...a new TGIF Challenges! This week we have a gorgeous Inspiration Challenge for you!
For this card, I started by pulling a variety of ink pads using the Color Theory wheel found on page 132 of the Annual Catalog. If you haven't used this as a color combination resource yet, be sure to check it out!
I don't know about you, but I never have enough birthday cards on hands for teenagers...and I feel like one of my boys' friends has a birthday every other week!
I recently added the Wanted To Say dies to my collection and they are perfect for teen-friendly cards. A simple die-cut Celebrate and stamped Happy Birthday from Simply Said are all you need!
I added a little gift box and some stars for a little extra celebration fun. This card could easily work for a boy or a girl and the color combo possibilities are endless with the color family Designer Series Paper Packs!
This color combo consists of Summer Splash, Lemon Lime Twist and Night of Navy. I love the bright colors with the bold pop of navy!
It's Friday and we all know what that means...time for an all newTGIF Challenges Color Challenge. I am loving this Berry Burst, Night of Navy and Crumb Cake color combo!
Welcome to an all new TGIF Color Challenge! My creative mind instantly thought of the fun new Racing By stamp set when I saw these colors...must be the boy-mom in me!
Summer is in full swing here in the US and this weeks TGIF Challenges Color Challenge tastes like summer! Sweet Sorbet and Lemon Lolly...sounds like a cool, refreshing drink in the making if you ask me!
This weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge certainly has a summer feel to it! Sandy starfish, cool ice cream treats, a beautiful pitcher of a refreshing drink or grapes that are perfect for picking...so many fun and inspiring options!
I opted for the cute seashells from Circle Sayings and paired them up with {Sun}Rays of Light for a cheerful, summer-at-the-beach birthday card! I colored the seashells in a variety of beach inspired colors that left me longing for some time at my favorite ocean town.
A distressed layer of Boho Blue embossed with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder gave the card a little ocean waves feel went under the Lemon Lolly sun rays. A Crumb Cake Card base ties the whole beach theme together...sun, water and sand!
Woohoo, we made it to Friday and you know what that means! A new TGIF Challenges Inspiration Challenge!
This WAS a challenge for me because I own ZERO stamps with cupcakes! But that's the beauty of a challenge...to challenge yourself!
How about turning a milkshake into a cupcake?!? That's what I did! Cutting the bottom off of the milkshake glass and adding some fluffy frosting, I turned a milkshake into a cupcake!
I went with the same colors in the photo and ended up with a color combo that reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream. I used the waffle cone die to create some sprinkles and added some fun texture with the 3D Basics embossing folder.
Welcome to the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge! This challenge is perfect as we ease our way into the summer months here in the US. Blue skies, flowers and sweet summer drinks...I'm ready!
Happy Friday and welcome to this months TGIF Challenges Sketch! There is nothing I love more than a great sketch to help get the creative ideas flowing!
I used Beauty of the Deep for one of my class projects last week and had a few left over bits and pieces that worked perfectly for today's sketch.
Welcome to an all new Control Freaks Blog Hop! This month we are featuring a super fun sketch and I can not wait to see everyone's projects! Take a peek at the sketch below and hop along to see all of the creative inspiration we have to share.
Wasn't Wendy's card amazing?!? So much talent!
I've been giving a lot of love to my stamp sets that will soon be retiring and today's sketch was perfect for the Plentiful Plants stamp set! I am SUPER sad to see this stamp set go. This is one I will hang on to forever!
I started out by cutting the panels in all different colors, then embossing them with a variety of embossing folders for a lot of awesome texture.
