Thanks Deer

Good morning stampers!

Christmas is all put away at my house...except in my craft room!  I'm still playing with a few Christmas stamps and DSP's as I make some thank you cards.

Today's inspiration challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments immediately made me think of the adorable deer in the Home for Christmas DSP.

And of course the trees inspired me to the Woodland Textured Embossing folder, which, in case you haven't heard, will be returning in the Annual Catalog this summer!  Hooray!!!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler
Ink ~ White Craft
Other Supplies ~ Woodland Textured Embossing Folder, Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim, Venetian Crochet Trim, Very Vanilla Bakers Twine, Snowflake Elements, Home & Hearth Thinlits

I can't remember where the little bird die came from...it's been sitting on my craft desk for well over a year now and still has not found it's home!  I know it isn't from SU...shhhhh!  It was just too cute not to use!

Be sure to head on over and see what the rest of our design team has been inspired to create today and don't forget to play along!

Happy Stamping!

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number 3 on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop - Diana of Stampin Fun with Diana. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.

The vintage designs in the Home for Christmas DSP are my absolute FAVORITE!!  It is quite possible I have hoarded numerous packs of this DSP to keep for years to come.  It reminds me of Christmas with my MeMe...I always miss her, more so around the holidays!
I love that you can cut the images from the DSP and use them in place of  stamped image...and  that the cute little start button fits just perfectly on top of the tree.
And how about this cubby little Santa?  Isn't he the BEST?
And the reindeer...my favorites!

Paper ~ Soft Sky, Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Vellum, Gold Foil, Red Glimmer, Gold Glimmer, Home for Christmas DSP, Winter Wonderland DSP, Season of Cheer DSP

Other Supplies ~ Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies, Banner Framelits, Triple Banner Punch, Gold Sequin Trim, Gold Metallic Bakers Twine, Home for Christmas Designer Buttons, Gold Thread, Metallic Sequins, Hearth & Home Thinlints

Freshly Made Holly

Happy Sunday stampin friends!  It's a cold and dreary day here, but it's a HAPPY day because I got to STAMP!  I have been putting in lots of extra hours at work the past few weeks, which has cut into my early morning stamping time...BOO!  After my stamp club this morning, I quickly cleaned up and took advantage of the last little bit of my little guys nap time and played along with the latest Freshly Made Sketches.
I often times get carried away with adding layers upon layers and lots of embellishments to my cards, so it's always nice to rein things in and keep things clean and simple, which is why I LOVE to play along with Freshly Made Sketches whenever I can.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Very Vanilla, Mossy Meadow, Home for Christmas DSP
Ink ~ Real Red
Stamp Set ~ Happy Scenes
Other Supplies ~ Circle Framelits, Large Oval Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Home for Christmas Enamel Dots

After seeing the adorable holly leaves that the amazing Cindy Schuster made, I just HAD to give them a try!  Check out the video on her blog to see just how easy these are to make!

I absolutely LOVE the Home for Christmas DPS and may be hoarding a few packs to keep for years to come.  All of the images that you can cut out are the BEST!

Sadly, my stamping time for today is over.  I am hopeful that my work schedule may allow for a bit more stamping this week, but knowing that we are nearing the end of the year, my stamping time may be limited to weekends only for the next few weeks.  I'll take what I can get and be happy though, because even though my job is crazy busy right now, I am so blessed to have a job that I {most days} love!

Here's to a great week for all of you!

Happy Stamping!
