Back to School

This weeks TGIF Challenges Theme Challenge is just in time for back to school!  Our schools start back next week and we are ready for all of the kiddos to be back in buildings!

I went with another fun and encouraging card using the Kiddin' Around stamp set and dies.

I created my own lined paper using the bullet tip of the Pool Party and Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blend Markers.  It's always fun to make your own paper!  And since I was making my own paper, I needed to make my own pencil too!

In keeping with the school theme, I splattered a piece of Basic Black with Whisper White Craft Ink to look like a composition book.  Too much fun!  The sweet and simple sentiment comes from Sentimental Park.

Thanks to the amazing Amy over at Freshly Made Sketches for the sketch inspiration!  I love a good sketch!
Wishing all of the kiddos, parents and educators an amazing school year!

Happy Stamping!

Love This Happy Moment

Oops....I'm a few days late getting the latest TGIF Challenges challenge posted!  In all of my excitement to get to Houston for OnStage, I forgot to hit the publish button for this post!

I love, love, LOVE anything with stripes!  I pulled out my Water Painters to create some Smoky Slate stripes to go behind the adorable Happy Moment Flowers.

I love the sweet simplicity these flowers.  I fussy cut the Happy and added Anniversary from Sentimental Park.  A little bit of Smoky Slate peeks out from behind the card front and a few little Pastel Sequins give just the right amount of bling!

I hope you'll join along in this weeks challenge and share what you were inspired to create!

Happy Stamping!

Sentimental Thanks

Happy Tuesday!  It's time for a colorful new challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.  A couple of these colors have retired, so I swapped Mango Melody for Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron for Soft Sea Foam.

It's also case the designer over at Global Design Project, where they are casing the amazing Krista Frattin.  I used the layout of her card to create my card today.
I used Sentimental Park for a sweet and simple thank you card.  The flowers were colored in Petal Pink with just a touch of Daffodil Delight.  Some die-cut Soft Sea Foam greenery was tucked in and layered on top of a Balmy Blue Stylish Shapes circle.  A fussy cut thanks and a few little Petal Pink die-cut flowers, embellished with a few rhinestones, completed the card.

Sweet, simple and oh-so-cute!

Happy Stamping!
