Poppy Kindness

Hello, back again!  And the snow is coming down!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Penny Black, Favorite Stamp and Stamping Sensations, Animal Magic (which also includes birds and butterflies).

 

This has got to be the prettiest Poppy stamp ever!  It is by Penny Black, the Blooming Garden set.  I LOVE it!  I love to water color this image, it typically comes out perfect!  Designer Paper from my stash, I thought the black and white would make the beautiful poppies POP! 

 

 

I cut the Painted Kindness die by Simon Says Stamp from the base of my water color paper and proceeded to water color in shades of oranges and yellows.  Using the Memory Box die, Butterfly Exhibit, which was cut from black card stock, I just used the smaller solid butterfly cuts.  Beautiful little silhouettes flitting about.  The focus panel as been placed at a wonky angle.  And a little Sheer Ribbon to tie it all together.  I don't think it needs anything more, other than a good home to go to!

Dragonfly And Poppy

Just another floral card.  I can't get enough of this Poppy stamp!

Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen for some shimmer.  Sheer Hot Pink Ribbon, Pearlesque Heart Shaped Button and Thin Pink Ribbon for accents.  Oh and a few Crystal Drops in Carnation Pink. 

 

This card is already winging it's way to a dear sweet family!

Blooming Garden

Hello again!

This next card will be entered into the Challenges at Cheery Lynn, Lots Of Layers, Scrapy Land, Anything Goes, Memory Box, Water Color, Stamping Sensation, Feature A Creature, and Penny Black, Flower Power.

 

I just love this stamp set from Penny Black, Blooming Garden.  It's full of beautiful flowers!  Using my regular inks and a water brush I 'water colored' the images on water color paper, after stamping in Black Licorice ink.  Then I cut my panel into thirds mounting them on Black card stock so the colors would POP!  Then that panel was mounted on to some Pumpkin Spice card stock.  The striped Designer Paper is by American Crafts.  

 

 

 

Fanciful Flourish by Cheery Lynn cut in green card stock and snipped apart.  Cutting Memory Box's Butterfly Exhibit die also out of water color paper, I colored them using the same technique as the poppies.  I also cropped them.  Topped with some Crystal Drops for accents.  Eyelets.

Field Of Tulips

I used this beautiful Penny Black Tulip stamp from the Blooming Garden set.  It is just 2 tulips so I kept masking them off and stamping away.  Then I decided to try my hand at Water Coloring again.  Love the soft blue sky background against my fields of tulips.  We have had quite a bit of rain n the past 2 days, perfect for May Flowers, yes?

The sentiment is from Stamp It Big by Gina K Designs.  White Embossing Powder heated on Vellum.  Nice and flat....one stamp mailing lol  I am learning!

Good Morning!  Ever since I typed that title I have been singing Adele......she sticks with you all day long!

My card for today will be entered into the Challenges at MFT Sketch, MFT Color, and Simon Says Monday, We Can See Clearly.

 

 

But for the layers, it's quite a CAS card.  The flower image is by Penny Black, Blooming Garden and the sentiment is from their Blooming Tags set.  My MFT products are; Blueprints #12, Cross Stitched Rectangles and Stitched Traditional Tags.  

 

All card stock layers over a Vellum base.  Images colored with Copic Markers.  Eyelet, Sheer Ribbon, Sequins, and Liquid Pearls in Flamingo.

 

Nothing fancy, just a simply sweet little card.
