Today the shop is back in business at Crafts and Me, along with all the Design Team Girlies!! I want to show you a card that I made using a December image, Art Deco Esther!!

I have coloured her with my copic's in a rich green, to make her a little more traditonal and 1930's feel :-) I have also used my Graphic 45 papers, Ladies Diary, which I think is pretty much perfect for her, so here she is, I hope you love her as much as me:-)

So what do you think? pretty ? I think so:-)  I have again kept the card nice and simple and somewhat small, so that the main part of the card is the actual image:-)

There is a brand new challenge starting today, so I hope you will come along and play... here is the link so that you can check it out

Till next time

Sending Elegant and Tropical Holiday Wishes

Hi there! This is Rose sharing two cards I've made using some of the fantastic digital images available ONLY at Crafts and Me Stamps.

You may have seen this card at the current Dynamite Digi team's "Why So Blue? = No Blues Allowed!" challenge.  I've used newly released Art Deco Rita for an unusual yet elegant Christmas card.  You can find this lovely Rita image here.  When you want to convey the mood of a rich, bold and lavish eclectic style, Art Deco images are the perfect match.  Teresa carries many digi and rubberstamp Art Deco images that contain formal wear and show what appears to be the very best in taste and style.

You may have seen this card at the recent Dynamite Digi team's "Ribbon or Trim" challenge.  I've used Monarch Mermaid by Hannah Lynn for a tropical-themed Christmas card.  You can find the Monarch Mermaid as a digital image here.

You can find more amazing rubberstamp and digital images in a variety of styles by your favorite artists at the Crafts and Me Stamps store here.

New Art Deco Geraldine

Hi There Everyone

Well we have hit December, not long until Christmas - although before that, the world is meant to blow up or something isn't it? Do you think I should wait to do my Christmas Shopping? hahahahahha

Anyway this week at Crafts and Me we have some new digi images, like we always do on the 1st of each month.  This month we have some brand new Art Deco images which you can check out here... I love these girls and it was also the perfect excuse to use some of my Graphic 45 Ladies Diary Papers.... so here is my card... I hope you love it as much as me:-)

Isn't she just the coolest? Well I think so, I love the fashions of the 1920-30's... so glam... I have coloured her with my Copic's and added some sparkles with the Atyou Spica pens in Clear and also a little bit of Gelly Roll (its like Atyou but a bit thicker) to her dress, although you may not be able to see it in the photo...

There is a brand new challenge that has just started over here, make sure you enter you just could be this weeks winner!!

A Quick Card.....

Good morning all you lovelies its Vicky here. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Those poorly I hope you all get well real soon. I have not been in blogland for about a week now as I've not been well at all so I took a break from crafting altogether. I'm still not better but my craft room was sobbing its little heart out it hadnt seen me for over a week, in fact the blinds were still shut in there lol.
Anyway as I've been poorly I havn't been able to do my tutorial for the gift bag but it will be done asap. I have instead done a quick card this morning just to show you what you can make when caught on the hop. Whether it be like me you need a card but have been poorly or simply because you forgot a birthday etc & need a quick make......I'm always forgetting birthdays......wish I could forget my own lol.
So for my quick fix card I've used one of the fabulous Art Deco stamps from Crafts & Me
This is Art Deco 'Bride/Flapper'. I just think she is fabulous & is one of those stamps that can be used in so many different ways & for so many occasions.....I love stamps like this!! For this card I stamped the image straight onto some 300gsm card using Versamark sparkle & then heat embossed the image using black embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of card cut using a small oval nestic & then heat embossed it gold embossing powder which you can get here. I then finished the card off with some black organza ribbon, some gold pearls & then cut the edge of the card with a WOJ 'French Lillies' border die available here. Thats it simple yet still effective & perfect for those that like the minimal look.

This is a card I made for a challenge a week or 2 ago using a WOJ stamp 'Willow with Coffee To Go' available here. She is coloured with Copics & her dress, bag & shoes I paper pieced which is perfect for all those scraps that you may have lying around.

Lastly I just thought I would show you this image. She is 'Strawberry Surfer' digi stamp by Hannah Lynn. I love this artist she is my fave of all the artists out there. If you love colouring hair then Hannah Lynn is erfect for this.....all her images are just stunning. This image I actually coloured as soon as she was released but unfortunately she has still not been put on a card so I thought that I would at least give her a little limelight until she does lol. She is of course coloured with Copics & I soooooo enjoyed colouring her.
Well thats it from me I'm going to try start catching up in blogland now......it may take me a while lol.
Dont forget the current challenge over at Crafts & Me Challenges which is 'Punches' which we all love to use.
Tatty bye for now xoxoxoxox

Art Deco

Hello peeps.. my turn again to hopefully inspire, I took delivery of the fabulous Art deco rubber stamps the other day & I had to get inky with them ASAP!!... so I hope you don't mind me showing you what I came up with.
This is the first Art Deco bride/flapper I did, I just love this image she is sooo elegant don't you think :-).
I've been having a change round on my copic fleshtones, this one was done using,
E21,E11,E00,E000, I then coloured her up again and this was the effect I got the second time.
This time I used E21, E11, YR00, YR000 for her fleshtones,
I really like how this combo turned out :-).

My next Art Deco one I'd like to share is this one.

Using the Art Deco lady with fan, and finally I have not an Art Deco card but a...

Fairy one :-).

Using this gorgeous Stamp by Rachel Anderson called Sunrise.
Thats it for now from me folks thanks for stick with to the end of this post,
I hope I've inspired you just a little :-).
Happy crafting everyone.

In Love with Vintage

Hiya Peeps,

Well I hope you popped by yesterday to see Angels's introduction to the team and what a stunning introduction and array of cards it was too. So if you missed it, scroll down after you have read this post, of course, lol.

You know I love Friday's, don't we all, but today I get to show you my Art Deco Vintage card, which I am absolutely in love with. I was asked to make an Anniversary card using Art Deco and thankfully I have this fabulous stamp available from Crafts and Me HERE. I am falling in love with this style of stamp. They are currently out of stock but I know Teresa is expecting more in soon, so if you want them email Teresa, details are on here or the Store, and get yours reserved as these stamps are in demand.

I actually don't want to give this card away, lol. Lots of fabby details, I may have gone overboard with the embellishments, but I do love the end result, so there isn't anything that I would change.

The middle section is corrugated card stripped of the top layer and painted with some acrylic white paint. I added some lace and purple ric rac.

I have added two little charms a key with the word LOVE and the heart with the lock.

I have painted the heart swirl with a lilac acrylic paint and edged it with Tim Holtz Distress ink.

Ahhhh look at that incy wincy postcard. I had this sheet for a few years and I finally found a use for it. The double heart is again painted with acrylic paint and edged with Tim Holtz Distress ink.

A close up of the laserchip word LOVE that I have painted with lilac acrylic paint and edged again with distress ink.

An here's the inside.

And here's the happy couple.A full list of materials can be found on my blog.

Now I have another card that I haven't yet posted on here and again I love this image and I have certainly seen this image going around blogland on my travels, I can tell you. This is DUSK by Sara Burrier and is a digi availabe HERE.

Isn't she gorgeous!

And those cute little bunnies.

That's it for me today, be sure to pop back again tomorrow for some more inspiration. Have a good weekend.

Lady with Fan

Evening Peeps,

I know I'm really late. It was great meeting some of the Crafts and Me crew last Sunday, but it's put me a little bit behind as Sunday is my crafting day and as I work full time so it's difficult fitting any crafting in during the week, so I know I am very late this evening with this post, so apologies but I do have another excuse, lol. I left my laptop in work.......ummmmm, yes and my daughter was meant to bring it home and yes she forgot, so I have just had to do a round trip of an hour to get it to do this post, ahhhhhhhh I hear you say.......

I know you have all been enjoying the new stamps which I believe will be loaded over the weekend so don't forget to stay tuned with pennies at the ready, lol, but I just wanted to remind you that Teresa has some fantastic lines of stamps available in the store and one of them is the Art Deco range. I have used it to make a christmas card, just so you can see how versatile these images can be.

This image is Lady with Fan available HERE but I believe she is currently out of stock. Teresa has more stamps in this range due in at the end of March, so please keep checking or send her an email.

Doesn't the Martha Stewart Deco border compliment this stamp.

Enjoy your weekend Peeps.

Hugs Tracy x

First up a beautiful blue and green version of Soft Goth Night. I love the background Jack has done on the circle and all the swirls.

And how about this beauty? This one is Enchanting Gold - Love her hair on this one, blended beautifully. The papers all match the image, very nicely done Jack!

And finally Art Deco Bride/Flapper by Lilac Lemon. The nestie there is just perfect for this design. Love the pink and Black Jack has used here and the beads on the frame finish it perfectly :)
