Sketch Saturday Challenge #299

Happy March!

Today, I am hosting Sketch Saturday.  The sponsor this week is A Random Fan and the prize is 3 digis.  As part of my hosting responsibilities, I organized the guest designers too.  There are 2 today, Sherry the illustrator for A Random Fan and MelissaO who is on the ARF design team and we were on Mabelle's DT together.

Here is the sketch I came up with for this week:
I used 2 A Random Fan images - Autry's Art Lesson and also Monet's Bike, which I added as the picture she is painting. :D

Sketch Saturday Challenge #295

Happy February!

We have a new sketch challenge starting today at Sketch Saturday.  Cathy is hosting this week and arranged a fabulous sponsor - A Day For Daisies.  The prize is $12 gift certificate!

Cathy also designed this awesome sketch...
Here is my interpretation of the sketch:
I had several A Day For Daisies images so I used one I bought last Fall for this challenge.  This is Five Robins in Winter

I printed the image 3 times and layered it to created the 3 layered rectangles in the sketch.  The background panel for the images is embossed with a woodgrain texture.  I thought this was a unique interpretation of the sketch.

The front and center image I colored with Copic markers: E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, E47, R20, R24, B21, B23, W0, W1, W2, 0.

The cardstock used is PTI White and True Black.  The saddle stitch ribbon is PTI Blueberry Sky.  I added a black button with white floss.

You can see all the DT's creations using this sketch and enter the challenge HERE.

Challenges:
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Frosted Designs - Winter Blues
The Crafter's Cafe - Use Ribbon
Digi Haven - Snow Buddies

Today is a sad day...my last official post for the Little Miss Muffet design team.  It has been a year almost to the day!  I can't believe it.

Ironically, this image is one of the 3 images I chose when I started the design team last year.  This is Easter Lamb of the Snugly Giftables line.
I used the same patterned papers as last week's Easter card - Doodlebug Designs "Hello Spring".  Love the bright Spring colors.  The LMM challenge theme is Happy Easter so you still have some time to join us.

Stamp Fairy - Mimi Love

Today, I have an image from Stamp Fairy - Mimi Love.  Isn't she the sweetest?  This card is actually an adoption card request.  Some mutual friends are adopting for the second time, a little girl from China.  Their family is growing from 3 to 4 and I thought this was the most perfect image, since she is hold a string of 4 hearts.

I just found Stamp Fairy recently; I won some digis in a challenge.  Let me tell you - it was hard to choose from all the cuteness!   I did choose this one and then received the adoption card request - so exciting to use her right away.
The image was layered on a base image printed on cream cardstock.  Her dress is paper pieced and the hearts are also, so the image is 3 layers.

The heart was cut using a coluzzle layered template.  The cream mat for the inner heart was cut using Magic matter disk set.  All the patterned papers are from the same paper pad - BasicGrey Picadilly.

Supplies --
