Mini Album and Birthday SALE

Creative Inspirations Paint is celebrating their birthday, and there will be a SALE, with 10% off all products for the whole of August.  If you need to re-stock some of your paints, or try them for the first time, now is the time to do so....
This week for Creative Inspirations Paint I have created a mini album from toilet roll holders.  The mini album fits neatly into a soap box which I altered, and can be viewed at the bottom of this post.
Flower and leaf elements were coloured using Creative Inspirations Paint, in the colours of Olive Green, Antique Gold, Blush, and TuTu Pink.
The shimmer of the paints is just beautiful, and even more so in 'real'.
The main cover flower, has been painted using TuTu Pink and brushed with Blush, then further highlighted with Resplendence Angel Dust.  My gosh, the glimmer of the paint and Angel Dust is just beautiful...
The box (old soap box originally), hosts 3 hand-made pencils created from kitchen skewers and painted with Creative Inspirations Paint - Green Olive, TuTu Pink and Gold.
The paints worked so well in creating real pencils - not that they draw!!

Change your embellishments with CIP

Hello, my dear crafting friends! Irit is here and this time I want to show you the way to change your embellishments using our gorgeous CI  paints.

I made this page in those summery colors and  my chipboard title was too pinky, so I just colored it over with Mellow  Yellow paint  (it was glossy, so what, our paint work great on every surface).

Then I wanted to add some sunflowers, but I only had those white daisies. Some Mellow  Yellow, Canary and Buttercup paints and Hello, Sunflower. Not yet. I had to add this black center. So some Glossy accents and some Burgundy  glitter covered with Coal paint and a lot of drying time- but they look like sunflowers after all.
So, as you can see, you can fit the colors of your embellishments to your paper just with a drop of CI Paints. So easy!
And here are the products used here:

Challenge card - Kianel.

Hello,
Kianel here with you today sharing the card i made for the 1st anniversary over at TOMIC challenge blog, using many Creative Inspirations products.
Stamp and papers are from Magnolia, dies are from Magnolia and Cheery Lynn designs.

I used Jeweled Inspirations clear SS20 to decorate my die cut. I also painted all the die cuts with Creative Inspirations paints "fairy dust" and "winter frost".
On the big roses, i used the glitter "angel dust" from Creative Inspirations.
All the leaves are covered with "green olive" paint.
"Fairy dust" is used on the butterfly die from Cheery Lynn.

For the colouring i used my favourite mixture of distress ink + "olive green" "emerald" "tuttu pink" "rose quartz" and "fairy dust".
Hope you like it and don't forget to come and play with us on our weekly challenge for a chance to win some yummy goodies! Love from France, Kianel.

The negative Joy chipboard was covered with the same blue paint and then heat embossed 3-4 times with Deliquensce Fine  Clear embossing powder for this glass look.
Then I just added some  Resplendence Angel Dust
all around over the wet paint.

And here product I used here:

Glittery XOXO Valentine

Good morning! It's Holly posting today, and I've got a glittery and pink-y Valentine card to share with you today.

See the "xoxo" chipboard piece? I covered that with some white gesso, and while the gesso was still wet, I poured some Resplendence Angel Dust glitter over it. I used my fingers to lightly press the glitter into the paint and set it aside to dry. You can see a close-up below:

Have you tried the new glitters and embossing powders from Creative Inspirations Paint? Why not order a few colors and try them for yourself? You will love them!

Just a little reminder - this week's challenge is inspired by hearts, so share your creations with us. We all love seeing your wonderful artwork!

Paper bag - Kianel

Hello dear Creative Inspirations paints lovers,
Kianel here with you today with the finished project i showed you last time using the new embossing powders and glitters from Creative Inspirations paints. Those are absolutely awesome so don't loose any minute now and go there to check them out.

I made a paperbag where i used many dies and many Creative Inspirations paints products: Paint, metallic inspirations, glitters and embossing powder!
I used the Creative Inspirations Paint called "burgundy" to cover all the letters of my title.

The adorable stamp from magnolia is coloured with distress ink and all the stripes are filled with Creative Inspirations Resplendensce glitter burgundy.

The bow is made using the marvellous Super Sparkle pink Deliquesce embossing powder which is a 2 tone embossing powder with a stunning effect.

There i chose to cover the bottom of my flower with the Resplendence Angel dust glitter.
The butterfly is decorated using the beautiful Metallic Inspirations matt purple.
And on all the borders of my patterned paper i used Deliquesce white embossing powder which gives a winter note and a used style to the paper.

The stamp and the patterned paper are from Magnolia. All the dies are from Cheery Lynn designs and the other decorations are coming from a french online shop.
I hope you will like that paper bag as much as i enjoyed creating it and don't hesitate to come and join us for our weekly challenge every sunday for a chance to win some beautiful Creative Inspirations products!
Love from France, Kianel.

Feb. 14 Card

LinkSo now that Christmas is over, and you are starting to recuperate from all of those Christmas cards that you made - it's time to start working on Valentine's cards!

I started this card by embossing Black Ice Dust cardstock from Worldwin Papers with a Cuttlebug folder. Next I painted over the whole thing with Creative Inspirations paints in Fuchsia and a second coat in Blush. After it was dry, I sanded over the top, which exposed some of the black cardstock.

(Two different variations - black cardstock and pink cardstock)

I also got a chance to play with some of Creative Inspiration's new glitters for the heart. I used a Spellbinder die, and cut a large sheet of Scor-tape. I removed one side of the backing paper and completely covered the heart using the Resplendence Regal Red Glitter. I put the heart back into the die and used the stenciling openings to put a small amount of glue along the shape, and fill that in with the Resplendence Gold glitter. I let this dry completely and then removed the other side of backing paper and adhered the heart to my card. Hope you will try some of these techniques out!
