Anything Goes Challenge #93

Here I am again for my second post today!

A new challenge at Anything Goes has gone live!

The theme we have chosen for you is 

"Handmade backgrounds"!

I went for an mini chest of drawers that I altered with little pieces of 

design papers, from Paper Cellar.

This is a technique that I learned from Hels Sheridan's workshop when I visited England.

You cut out smal pieces of paper in no specific size 

and then you just overlap the pieces over eachother in random order.

Really easy and so much fun when you get the hang of it!

Then I added some embellishments on my drawer such as,

Prima flowers, lace, butterfly border from Martha Stewart,

mini tags and leafswirls from Magnolia, metal corner and a metal butterfly.

I also put some text on each drawer so I know what I have in them.

The odd thing about my project is that there is no image for me to colour

but sometimes you just have to step out of the drawer, lol.

Hope you are all doing well!

Today I want to show you a card I made a while ago to our friend that turned 40. I thought that it would fit him perfect with a cool chick as Carmen Electrafying. We would give him a gift certificate so I decided to make a box that we could put the card in. 

I coloured Carmen with Promarker and most of the papers are from Bo Bunny. The clock are TH and the dies with the name and number are Spellbinder's Fancy Tags no.3.

I would like to enter Kenny K's Krafty Krew Challenge with my card.
The theme is Big Birthday's 18,21 and 40.

Anything Goes Challenge #64

Good morning!

April is a lovely but whimsical month in terms of weather. Both snow, rain and full sunshine but I love springtime anyway. It's getting brighter and we have the best season ahead of us, according to me ;)

Due to this I planed my project for Anything Goes Challenge, Anything Goes!

I decided to make a spring box with a lot of Magnolia goodies :) 

You can find alot of the material at Lynn's shop Craft Den.

I have altered a Martha Stewart punch box, using papers from Ridderholmdesign and Crafters Companion.

All of the stamps are from Magnolia and they are all coloured with distress ink. The fence and the heart swirl are Magnolia's Doo Hickey dies.

Be prepared for a picture heavy post ;)

Hanna & Friends "Be my Valentine"

Valentine is coming fast now. Less than a week left, so I hope you have your Valentines card ready.

I have made a heart box and decorated it with sweet Tilda. The little frame is from Melissa Frances and I've added some glitter on the text, the heart and on the flowers.
