No reason

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a lovely day!
My husband and I took a trip to the woods today to walk and train our dog, Kiwa. It's a beautiful sunny day with blue skies here in Sweden, Skåne. And I'm loving every moment!
For once I have made a card with no special reason. I have always been a sucker for Elisabeth Belle's motive. But very rarely I have had the opportunity to use them. So now I took the time to make something with sweet Willow.
I have used coffee filter as my card base. A SP heart with mini beads. The papers are from Maja Designs collection "Fika". A matching cupcake charm. And of course glitter on the flowers and on Willow's bow, jeans and apron.

So keep on have a lovely day :D
And I love every comment that you leave!

I would like to enter these challenges with my card:
Whiff of Joy: #120 Charms & Bling
Belles 'n Whistles: Warm Earth Colours

DT card Hanna & Friends

Today we have a new challenge for you at Hanna & Friends!
And the theme is one of my favorite folding: Easel card!
I have coloured Loli & Shellie, designed by Sylvia Zet, with Distress ink. Isn't she and her little snail friend just adorable! The fence is a stamp from Magnolia that I masked behind them.
The decorations around the image is a Spellbinder die, Fancy Tags One.
I painted a chipboard swirl with crackle paint and decorated the card with a bow.
I also added an apple charm among the flowers, not so visible but still ;)
On the paper roll I put a beautiful and thoughtful text from Stempelglede.

So don't think about it, just do it ;)
Join us for the fun and there's a chance of winning a great price from In 2 Stamps!
Reminder; take a look at my talented teamies work!

Welcome back!

A new challenge at Anything Goes

Hi there!
It's seems like we're back in good old routines again :) Not that I don't mind having some time of from work, lol. Today school starts again and I think that our boys are looking forward to it even though it's hard work in between. Unfortunately our youngest are leaving home with crutches.... He played football this weekend and smashed into an opponent. It's "just" a sprain but I know it hurts alot.
Today we are having our first challenge of the year at Anything Goes Challenge. And guess what the theme is... Anything Goes!
I made my very first folded star card. On the backside of the card I put Tilda with a heart string and then used Doo Hickey dies; key and heartboard. I coloured her with Distress ink and used glitter "Star Dust" on the flowers, the key and Tildas hearts. The butterflies paper are from my own stash. But on the other side I decorated the star with Maja design papers and more flowers.
I would like invite you to visit Craft Den were you can find great products.

So go check out the amazing work the Anything Goes ladies have done this week and join us with your creation.
Thanks for your lovely comments, you know it means alot :)

Challenges I would like to enter:
MDUC: #128 Anything Goes
7 Kids College Challenge: Try something new (new fold)
Cupcake Craft: #174 Something new (Doo Hickey dies, key)
Just Magnolia: #138 Anything Goes with something new (Doo Hickey die, key and a new fold)

Hanna & Friends #126

Welcome to a new year and my first card for 2012!
This also means the first challenge at Hanna & Friends this year. We have a lovely sketch for you to follow made by Jasmin.
After all the Christmas card, I had to do a summer card ;) and I chose Sarah Kay as my model. I made a shaker card and framed the image with Magnolia Doo Hickey die. Even the flowers and the leafswirl are from Magnolia. The "shakers" are small blingflowers.

Here's the sketch for you to follow and don't forget, there's a great price for you to win :)

So jump in here and join the fun and meanwhile you are there you will also get some eyecandy from the rest of the team.

Hanna & Friends #125

Good morning!
So now have Hanna & Friends also reached the final challenge of this year. But of course we will be back next year, 2012 ;)

I just love this sentiment! A perfect thought when you enter a new year.

Pop over to Hanna & Friends and join us in this last challenge of the year and see the beautiful work the amazing DT girls have done. Thank you girls for a great teamwork :)

Anything Goes Challenge #57

The year of 2011 is coming to its end but we have a new fresh one to look forward to.
And the last challenge for this year at Anything Goes. I'm fortunate to be part of this wounderful team for the last six month and I can't wait to see what the next year will bring.

This time we want to see something with the colour BLUE and one other colour.
I made my card with few details this time. I wanted it to be pretty "clean".

Here's what I've used on my card:

Penny Black image

Magnolia paper

Marianne Design Village/church and icicles

QK star

Blue ribbon

Stickles "Star Dust"

Puffy snow

You can find most products at Lynne's shop Craft Den.

So enjoy the rest of the year and don't forget to join us at Anything Goes.

Lots of HUGS!

A little later Christmas greeting

I would like to wish you all a continued Merry Christmas (a copule off Christmas days still remains ;))
My family and I, and some of our friends, have been away on a mini ski vacation and we've had a lovely time.
And just back in time to celebrate Christmas Eve at home with our parents.
Here are some of my "quick and easy" Christmas cards that I made.

Enjoy Christmas and your loved ones!

Anything Goes Challenge #56

Good morning! Hope you are all doing well!
Get ready for another challenge at Anything Goes, Anything but a card!
I have made a BIG tag with Magnolias Tilda in centre. She's perfect for todays celebration (in Sweden), Lucia.
I have coloured Tilda with Polychromos Pencils, as you can find at Craft Den.
The chipboards are covered with crakle paint "picket fence". The "wish" ticket are from Tim Holtz.
I have used another tag, a smaller one ;) where you can write your own greeting.
The papers are from My Mind's Eye. And I also used some old wellpapp and coloured it with white paint.

Some of the material that I've used can be found in Lynne's store Craft Den among a bunch of other goodies.
So let us see what you can come up with at Challenge #56.
You also have to pay my DT friends a visit. They make some stunning creations!
Have a happy Lucia day and don't eat too many saffron buns and gingerbread ;)

I would like to enter this to the following challenges:

Reviewing Christmas Faith

Okey, I'm back for my second post to day ;)
We're having a reviewing at the TPS blog and showing you the Lil Pinkette Christmas girls.
I'm showing you Christmas Faith! I think I've told you before but I just love Christmas :D and a Christmas without carols isn't a Christmas at all. So Faith is just perfect ;)
I don't know if you can see the G clef, but I think it's so cute and really fits this card. And of course there has to be some note papers too ;)
Even this card was coloured with Promakers.

Sorry to keep this post short :( I've got tons to do as I'm sure that you also have...

So until next time, take care! And I don't mind that you leave a comment ;)

Hugs Annette

Hanna & Friends #123

OMG, it's already a week since the last challenge at Hanna & Friends. Time flies ;)
That means we have reached a new week and a new challenge at H&F, yay!
And this is a pretty easy one, don't you think: Wintercard!
Even though we don't have so much winter here in southern Sweden at the moment, I had to put my mind into a white, cold and frosty feeling. I hope I managed and that you can get some inspiration anyway ;)
My image this time is from Lily of the Valley, and this time I went for an Easel card. I coloured it with Promakers and used some "pom poms" as snowflakes. Maybe a bit big but as they fall down the become snowballs. Well, you have to use your imagination, lol!
The embossed snowflakes in the background are from Tim Holtz.
I made the tag as an open book so you can write your greeting on the inside.

I hope you got some inspiration so you would like to join us this week at Hanna and Friends!
If not, take a look at the other girls' creation and I'm sure you can't resist take part of the fun!
Thanks a lot for stopping by and take it easy in the Christmas rush!

Hanna & Friends #122 Sketch

Today we have a lovely sketch from Vanni for you to play with at Hanna and Friends.

I found this sketch real "christmasish" (don't even know if that's a word, lol) And I guess it's because of the stars.

Once again I have made a Christmas card and I realised that it's red again...

Well, what can I say... I just love red christmas cards :)

The image is a Elizabeth Bell's design, called Lizzy. I have coloured her with Polychromos pencils.

The papers are from Pysselgumman and the stars are punched out from a Spellbinder dies. And the frames are Nellie Snellen.

As you can see in the last photo I have made a different fold this time.

Take a look at the beautiful cards that the Design girls have made. They are just stunning! So I hope you will participate in this weeks challenge!

Take care!

xxxx Annette
