Easter Card ~ Simply Sweet {2nd Post}

Isn't this little bunny a cutie.

I printed her off and colored her up.

Next I framed her up and added a ribbon/bow.

I finished the card up with a Cardz TV sentiment and some rhinestones.

Birthday Card ~ Bugaboo Kid Project

This card reminded me of when our daughter was little.

I have 7 siblings so she was always surrounded by

tons of presents at her birthday parties.

When she turned two my oldest brother joked

that the pile of packages was taller than she was.

Birthday Card ~ Bugaboo Funny Card {1st Post}

I'm not really a "funny" joke kind of card maker

so this challenge had me going until

I looked through my Bugaboo images and found this little guy.

This card is more of a family inside joke kind of one.

Let me explain...

I have 7 siblings.

One year our Mom bought each of us the same Christmas card

for us to send in the mail to one of my brothers for his birthday.

Each day he received a card or two from a different person

but of course the card was the same AND Christmas.
This is one of my fondest "remember when" memories.

Birthday Card ~ Bugaboo Bingo {3rd Post}

I'm doing a little Bugaboo Birthday Bash catch up today.

Say that one three times real fast. lol.

Corny I know.

Can you tell I teach in an elementary school?

They are celebrating their 4th birthday

at their Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.

Each day we have a new challenge to meet

but luckily we can enter them as long as the link is open

for that particular challenge since I'm already behind. whew.

 

The first challenge is a BINGO card one. {love those}

I went with one of the diagonals plus one more.

but since he's going to party

Love/Valentine Card ~ You Make My {heart} Sing

When I first saw this cute image this song popped into my head.

I didn't have a stamp that had this sentiment so I wrote it by hand. 

I added a little faux stitching to my sentiment heart to help it stand out

then a rhinestone at its end.

The background is dry embossed to give it a little texture.

The Copic colored image and handmade sentiment

sit a top this sweet doily die cut.

This card can be given for Valentines or anytime

just to let them know how you feel.

I'm going to leave this one on the hubbies desk today to cheer him up a little.

He's been having a tough few weeks at work.

Love Card ~ Crazy For You

It is time for me to remind my husband how much I appreciate him.
I am going to leave this card for my husband in his car.
I wanted to try making a card background using a sentiment and heart stamped ribbon.
I used my hubbies favorite colors to create this card.

Love Card ~ Love Always (post #2)

I really liked how well the sentiment stamped on my ribbon the last time so I thought I'd try it again.
This time I wondered how it would look as an accent on my Verve scroll.
I found this ribbon that was the perfect size then stamped the Verve sentiment.
It needed a little something so I used this cute little Pink by Design heart on each end of the sentiment.
I colored up this little Bugaboo bear I got as a freebie a while back the placed him on a punched circle.
Next I stamped some hearts and punched them out with a punch from my stash.
It fit inside the punch perfectly. Gotta love that.
To finish off my card I added a little knotted twine to the corners and wa-la.
