IRS Exempt Organization Unit Chief Officer Violated U.S. Laws

[From article]
When Lois Lerner, the former IRS chief of the Exempt Organization unit and figure at the center of the targeting scandal, transferred 1.25 million IRS documents to the Justice Department in October of 2010, she almost certainly broke the law, according to new documents unearthed by the group Cause of Action in a FOIA suit.
The documents contained tax returns and other private tax information from non-profit groups. The transfer was done in advance of a meeting between IRS and Justice Department officials to discuss prosecuting non-profits for illegal political activity.
But federal law prohibits the transfer of tax returns to any agency without following set procedures. Lerner's transfer was thus highly illegal.
[. . .]

Documents suggest that Lerner’s massive document transfer to the DOJ didn’t meet any of those exceptions, including one that allows the agency to disclose returns for use in criminal investigations — if they’ve been requested in relation to “an actual investigation about a person to whom the investigation is related,” says O’Connor. Both Lerner and the DOJ were interested in figuring out how to prosecute non-profit groups they believed were engaging in improper political activity, and Lerner sent the documents over to the department days before an October 8 meeting with several of her IRS colleagues, an FBI agent, and attorneys from the DOJ’s public-integrity section.
[. . .]
A lawful transfer of the documents would have required a formal request from the DOJ to the IRS, but DOJ trial attorney Stephanie Sasarak told Cause of Action in a March 9, 2016, letter that the department did not make any requests to the IRS for the documents it received. Alternatively, the secretary of the Treasury could have turned the documents over to the DOJ. In either case, section 6103 requires the Treasury secretary to disclose the transfer to the bipartisan Joint Committee on Taxation, which releases publicly a list of disclosures each year. But the Joint Committee on Taxation’s 2010 disclosure report does not show a transfer to the Department of Justice that matches the one Lerner sent in October of that year.
[. . .]

Thousands of non-profit groups had their tax returns transferred illegally, while the IRS and Justice deliberately kept Congress in the dark.
The FBI closed its investigation of the Tea Party targeting scandal in October of 2015 without indicting anyone.
It doesn't get any clearer than this. Procedures set down by law on how taxpayer info can be disclosed were discarded, and a cover-up of the transfer to DoJ was initiated. What's worrisome is, if they are covering up disclosure violations like this, how many more taxpayers are in the cross hairs of the IRS and DoJ without knowing it, and is there any way to find out?

Facebook, Twitter Censor Conservative Writers Who Support Donald Trump

It is shameful and embarrassing but indicative of how schools, colleges, universities, law schools and journalists have failed to curb the dumbing down of American youth. The idea of free speech is to protect speech that you hate. Speech that you like needs no protection. If speech offends, the solution is more speech not less. That presupposes that speakers and offended listeners are searching for truth. Propaganda cannot withstand scrutiny. Propagandists use censorship to silence exposing their lies. No matter how many people object, if speech is legal it is protected. But under the growing misguided efforts of psychiatry to bring about the therapeutic state, snowflakes who are offended by speech can silence rational criticism and discourse. Shame on university administrators, school teachers, law schools and journalists for remaining silent.

This act of censorship by the social media giant comes on the tails of Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos’ short suspension from Twitter, which occured after he took to the platform with anti-Islamic remarks.

Twitter Appears To Censor Popular #GaysForTrump Hashtag
by TOM CICCOTTA

Conservative gay journalist Milo Yiannopoulos (pictured below with Anne Coulter and above with Donald Trump) is an outspoken conservative writer, who was suspended from Twitter Wednesday morning while on a tour that took him to a crowd outside the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

[From article]
Twitter has come under fire for allegedly censoring conservative gay voices after Breitbart journalist Milo Yiannopoulos was suspended and a popular pro-Donald Trump hashtag apparently disabled from the site's auto-complete system.
Yiannopoulos, who has been particularly critical of Islam in the wake of Sunday's shooting, in which Omar Mateen killed 49 people and injured 53 more in an Orlando gay club, had his account disabled Wednesday, Heat Street reported.
That same day, Twitter apparently blocked the hashtag #GaysForTrump from appearing automatically when typing.
The account run by Yiannopoulos, who is currently on a 50-week, 60-date U.S. college tour in which he espouses anti-feminist, anti-Islam views, went down Wednesday morning, a number of users reported.
Both #FreeMilo and #FreeNero (his Twitter handle) trended as word got out, and several fans objected to what they saw as censorship for his anti-Islamic views.
User @JohnCardillo said: 'Hey progressives, a gay man was silenced by Twitter for calling out radical Islam's killing of gays. #FreeMilo #FreeNero'
Another user, @UKamboj, wrote: 'Milo, a gay journalist, defended the LGBT community and is now suspended by the homophobes at @twitter #JeSuisMilo #FreeMilo'
And @exsacerdotal complained: 'Oh dear, @Nero has been suspended because he's strayed out of the confines of the LGBT zoo.'

Controversial: Yiannopoulos is infamous for his anti-feminist and anti-Islam views.

Yiannopoulos's account was restored by midday Wednesday, but with just 10,000 of his previous crowd of 275,000 followers. His follower list was restored by 3:30pm, Heat Street said.
Although the reason for Yiannopoulos's suspension isn't known at present, one user said that it was due to a focused campaign of complaints by Arabic Twitter users.
According to @Unspectateur, 'A Muslim with 1.2M followers tweeted out a call to action which led to the temporary suspension of @Nero.'
And @Cernovich identified the same account as being the origin for 'mass spam reports' against Yiannopoulos's account. The account is in Arabic.
On Sunday he wrote an article for Breitbart titled 'The Left Chose Islam Over Gays. Now 100 People Are Dead Or Maimed In Orlando.'
In it, he asked: 'How many more innocent gays need to die before we admit that America, and the world, has an Islam problem?'
He added: 'I don’t mean a "radical Islam" problem or an "extremist Islam problem." Violence is not the extreme in Islam any more: it’s the norm.'
Yiannopoulos was notified of the suspension in an interview with The Gavin McInness Show, in which he said he wasn't surprised.

'It was probably a mass reporting,' he said. 'Arabic Twitter got hold of me today... if they mass report enough I think it triggers some kind of automatic thing.'
Yiannopoulos had previously complained loudly about Twitter removing the 'blue tick' that signifies an official, 'verified' account, Business Insider reported in January.
The day before Yiannopoulos's suspension, the social media site came under fire for apparently removing #GaysForTrump from its auto-complete function, Breitbart reported.
Ordinarily when typing out a hashtag, Twitter will provide suggestions, with the options narrowing down with each letter typed.
But typing out '#GaysF' does not provide #GaysForTrump as an option.
User @PunishedSage made the observation Tuesday, adding that #LGBTQHatesTrumpParty - a less popular tag, according to data gleaned by Breitbart - was appearing in the auto-complete form.
'Gays for Trump' is a movement started by Chris Barron, president of the now-defunct gay conservative group GOProud, CNN reported.
As of Wednesday evening, neither option appeared when typed - however, Twitter was also not offering anything for the word '#Gay' at all.

Twitter accused of censorship after it suspends account of gay conservative writer Milo Yiannopoulos for 'anti-Islam views' and blocks GaysForTrump hashtag
Milo Yiannopoulos, Breitbart Tech journalist, was suspended Wednesday
His account was later reinstated, but initially without his 275,000 followers
Some said it was censorship, but he believes it was an automated system
He said that Arabic Twitter users had flooded the site with complaints
Yiannopoulos has written about how the world has 'an Islam problem'
The hashtag #GaysForTrump was also apparently disabled on the site
It does not automatically appear when typing, unlike many other hashtags

The Women for Trump Facebook group was set up as a voice for women who “are fed up with loser politicians who won’t stand up for our freedom or for the USA.”
The WFT Facebook page currently has 27,000 followers and is one of the most popular Trump fan pages.
Today the Women for Trump Facebook page organizer received this warning from Facebook.
The message said Facebook “has received many reports from your page” and to, “Please review your posts for reasons that you have violated our terms.”
Facebook then threatens to suspend the page—
[video embedded]
This is the only post they can think of that could possibly be offensive?
And it was a video from a cable news show.
Now the page is being threatened with suspension.
UPDATE: This came from an IT professional:
I researched the suspension notice you posted an article about. This may be a spear phishing attack. The domain is registered to a proxy registration service in Panama, and leads to a server containing nothing but the attack form… I posted a warning on the Facebook page itself. This is a time sensitive matter, please contact them.
UPDATE: Brooke from Facebook wrote us with this statement.
Here is what we’re sending to media outlets who are requesting comment. Please feel free to use it in your update!
“After looking into this matter, Facebook was able to determine that the page administrator received this message as part of a phishing attempt. The message did not come from Facebook.”

IRS Reveals List of Targeted Conservative Groups. Commissioner Remains Defiant, Indicating Contempt

Congressional Republicans say IRS Commissioner John Koskinen, who was brought in by President Obama to clean up the agency after the targeting scandal, has failed — and even misled Congress during the investigation.

(Associated Press)

Government malfeasance will continue as long as public officials remain unaccountable. Even if damages from liability are found and abuses of power, taxpayers will pay for the wrongdoing of these miscreants. The individuals must pay penalties for their abuses of power, and political misuse of power contrary to law. The IRS is out of control along with the Department of Justice and the bloated, useless, misguided Department of Homeland Security. They lead the nation toward tyranny.

[From article]
More than three years after it admitted to targeting tea party groups for intrusive scrutiny, the IRS has finally released a near-complete list of the organizations it snagged in a political dragnet.
The tax agency filed the list last month as part of a court case after a series of federal judges, fed up with what they said was the agency’s stonewalling, ordered it to get a move on. The case is a class-action lawsuit, so the list of names is critical to knowing the scope of those who would have a claim against the IRS.
But even as it answers some questions, the list raises others, including exactly when the targeting stopped, and how broadly the tax agency drew its net when it went after nonprofits for unusual scrutiny.
The government released names of 426 organizations. Another 40 were not released as part of the list because they had already opted out of being part of the class-action suit.
That total is much higher than the 298 groups the IRS‘ inspector general identified back in May 2013, when investigators first revealed the agency had been subjecting applications to long — potentially illegal — delays, and forcing them to answer intrusive questions about their activities. Tea party and conservative groups said they was the target of unusually heavy investigations and longer delays,
Edward D. Greim, the lawyer who’s pursuing the case on behalf of NorCal Tea Party Patriots and other members of the class, said the list also could have ballooned toward the end of the targeting as the IRS, once it knew it was being investigated, snagged more liberal groups in its operations to try to soften perceptions of political bias.
“As we have identified in our filings in this case, important questions still exist regarding changes to the IRS‘ case listings that occurred after the IRS learned that the [inspector general] and congressional investigations had begun,” he said. “Based on these changes, which to date remain unexplained, a very real possibility — if not probability — exists that the IRS modified its targeting in light of the investigations, packing its own internal lists of targeted groups to support its preferred narrative, including by adding ideologically diverse groups.”
He said if that did happen, it would have “tainted” the list the IRS has now released.
The IRS declined to comment, saying its filing spoke for itself.
A series of investigations found the IRS did ask intrusive questions and did delay applications for years, in violation of policy. But so far no investigation has found any order from the White House to conduct the targeting.
[. . .]
Sixty of the groups on the list released last month have the word “tea” in their name, 33 have “patriot,” eight refer to the Constitution, and 13 have “912” in their name — which is the monicker of a movement started by conservatives. Another 26 group names refer to “liberty,” though that list does include some groups that are not discernibly conservative in orientation.
Among the groups that appear to trend liberal are three with the word “occupy” in their name.
And then there are some surprising names, including three state or local chapters of the League of Women Voters — a group with a long history of nonprofit work.
[. . .]
Congressional Republicans say IRS Commissioner John Koskinen, who was brought in by President Obama to clean up the agency after the targeting scandal, has failed — and even misled Congress during the investigation. Some Republicans are even pursuing impeachment against Mr. Koskinen, accusing him of defying a subpoena for former senior IRS executive Lois G. Lerner’s emails by allowing computer backup tapes to be destroyed.
Even outside of impeachment, the House GOP has proposed a new round of budget cuts for the IRS, aimed at trying to deliver a message that Mr. Koskinen’s tenure has been unacceptable.
And the tax agency is still defending itself in a series of court cases. In addition to the NorCal class action case, the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., is currently considering an appeal by tea party groups who argue the targeting is still going on.
[. . .]
“One thing remains clear: Continued litigation is the only way to force the IRS‘ hand in order to expose its targeting scheme that was coordinated with the help of the DOJ and other federal agencies so that we can obtain justice for those patriotic Americans who were unconstitutionally targeted by their own government,” said Jay Sekulow, chief counsel at the American Center for Law and Justice, which is representing some of the plaintiffs in the appeals case.
In yet another case, the conservative group Cause of Action has been pursuing the IRS to turn over documents the group believed would show White House officials requesting secret taxpayer information on conservatives.
But in a filing Friday, the IRS said it has conducted a final search and can’t find any evidence that the White House either asked for or received protected information.

Facebook Employees Say Conservative Views Suppressed

[From article]
Facebook is being accused of fiddling with its formulas to suppress conservative news.
That’s what some unnamed former Facebook contractors told the tech site Gizmodo—and it’s an accusation that strikes at the heart of the social network’s credibility.
Facebook relies on computer algorithms to determine what is “trending,” an influential designation that inevitably boosts traffic for what are deemed the hottest topics. But unbeknownst to much of the public, Facebook hires journalists to tweak these formulas, and this is where the question of political bias has erupted.

Gizmodo reports that Facebook “routinely suppressed news stories of interest to conservative readers,” according to a former journalist who worked on the trending designations. And several former Facebook “news curators” told the website that they were told to “inject” certain topics into the trending list, even if they weren’t popular enough to warrant making the crucial list.
Depending on who was on duty, said the unnamed conservative ex-curator, citing fear of retribution from the company, “things would be blacklisted or trending … I’d come on shift and I’d discover that CPAC or Mitt Romney or Glenn Beck or popular conservative topics wouldn’t be trending because either the curator didn’t recognize the news topic or it was like they had a bias against Ted Cruz.”

Belgium Police Clash With Conservative Civilians

Right wing demonstrators protest at a memorial site at the Place de la Bourse in Brussels, Sunday, March 27, 2016. In a sign of the tensions in the Belgian capital and the way security services are stretched across the country, Belgium's interior minister appealed to residents not to march Sunday in Brussels in solidarity with the victims.

[From article]
Belgian riot police fired water cannon to disperse far-right football hooligans who disrupted mourners at a shrine for victims of the Brussels attacks, as police arrested several suspects in a series of new raids.
In scenes that compounded a week of grief for Belgians, black-clad protesters shouting anti-immigrant slogans moved in on the makeshift memorial at Place de la Bourse where hundreds of people had gathered in a show of solidarity.
Under-fire Belgian authorities meanwhile detained four terror suspects after carrying out 13 raids as they seek to round up a web of jihadists with links to the carnage in the Belgian capital and to attacks and plots in France.
The clashes between the far-right demonstrators and police underscored the tensions in Belgium after Tuesday's Islamic State suicide attacks on the airport and the metro system in which 31 people died and 340 were wounded.
[. . .]
As Belgium struggles to come to terms with the tragedy, recriminations continue over whether the authorities could and should have done more to prevent the carnage, as the links to the November Paris attacks by IS grow clearer by the day.
Police carried out 13 raids Sunday across Brussels and the towns of Duffel and Mechelen to the north, the federal prosecutor said, questioning nine people and holding four for further inquiries.
In the latest piece in the puzzle of the jihadist cross-border networks, police arrested a 32-year-old French national in Rotterdam Sunday on suspicion of planning a terror attack, Dutch prosecutors said, following a raid carried out at the request of French authorities.

Conservative Political Committee Blocks Free Speech, Anti Terror Activist

[From article]
For years, I have wrestled and wrangled with and cajoled the CPAC organizers to allow me the same privilege they routinely extend to other conservative groups: the right to host events at the largest gathering of conservatives in the country. Every year I faced roadblocks, delays, and lame excuses -- all stemming from the crippling cowardice of the CPAC leadership and its adamant refusal to grapple honestly with the jihad threat. This year, with jihadis threatening the whole world, it hasn’t gotten better -- it has gotten worse.
[. . .]
the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), wanted to be a full-fledged sponsor of CPAC, so that I could host an event, “How Liberal Ideology Is Crippling National Security Capability.” Being a CPAC sponsor is not some honor that CPAC organizers confer; any conservative group can buy sponsor status.
[. . .]

we invited the internationally renowned Dutch freedom fighter Geert Wilders, who just won the “Politician of the Year” award in The Netherlands. We also invited British politician Paul Weston of LibertyGB, who was arrested for quoting Winston Churchill’s words about Islam; Swiss freedom fighter Oskar Freysinger; Israeli political analyst Caroline Glick; and DHS whistleblower Philip Haney.
[. . .]
They were concerned about security because of the death threats I have received since my free speech conference in Garland, Texas last May was attacked by Jihadis. I assured them that my entire security apparatus, a seasoned team of the top professionals in their field, would be in place (at our expense, not CPAC’s), and that several of my speakers who are European politicians would also be coming with their own secret service protection.
[. . .]
At CPAC 2008, I introduced Mark Steyn. I also once introduced David Horowitz. But once I started to criticize CPAC, the ACU’s David Keene, along with members of the ACU board such as Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan, those invitations quickly stopped coming.
[. . .]
we succeeded in bringing much-needed coverage of the jihad threat that CPAC was resolutely ignoring. Apparently because they were determined to continue ignoring it, I’ve had problems with the ACU leadership for years, as they have steadfastly refused to address the jihad threat and related issues adequately, and have continuously marginalized the most courageous voices.
[. . .]
after I fought fiercely for months trying to get Wilders on the official CPAC roster. They should have been clamoring to have him. He represents the fight for the idea of American freedom, our unalienable rights as endowed by our creator. After much conversation, David Keene was planning to give the Courage Under Fire Award to Wilders at CPAC for his fight for free speech (the very bedrock of conservative principles).
Yet within 24 hours of the decision to give Wilders the Charlton Heston Courage Under Fire award, it was withdrawn. Keene canceled the decision to honor Wilders because of an article in Newsweek in which David Horowitz and my AFDI colleague Robert Spencer criticized CPAC for its Norquist-mandated refusal to deal with the jihad or Islamic supremacism in any meaningful or effective way.
[. . .]
I hosted a panel on Islamic Law in America, featuring Justice Department whistleblower J. Christian Adams, Robert Muise of the American Freedom Law Center, and others. By this time, David Horowitz was no longer a sponsor of CPAC: the Norquist/Khan cabal was deeply problematic to many others besides me. We partnered with the Tea Party. Despite our being under the official umbrella of the Tea Party, CPAC put that event in a tiny, windowless, sweltering room
[. . .]
I appeared on Breitbart’s “Uninvited” panel -- after being banned by the ACU.
[. . .]
I had to promise that if I came to CPAC, there would be “no cartoons.” So I had to surrender on the point where free speech is most challenged in order to speak out there for free speech. They also told me I could not publicize my event beforehand. My past events at CPAC were always SRO, but if I couldn’t publicize it, how would people know to come? Nevertheless, I agreed to every request.
[. . .]
Schneider told me Tuesday that they were not allowing AFDI to be a sponsor – not because of security concerns, but because I have criticized them in the past for not paying adequate attention to the jihad threat.
When Schneider told me that I was being denied because of the “negative press coverage” I had previously given them, after months of saying that they were hesitating because of something else, I responded that I had reported on what happened. I reported what was true and accurate. Back on our first phone call, Schneider had even admitted that I had been right about CPAC: that in previous years the conference had gone to great lengths to avoid the subject of jihad and sharia. And yet now that was why they were denying me an opportunity to host an event there. It looks as if Schneider’s new and improved CPAC is the same as the old, broken CPAC.
[. . .]
It is apparently official CPAC policy at this point to avoid and ignore the greatest national security threat to our country -- or at best to feature speakers whose analysis is hamstrung by political correctness and ignorance of the subject. Year in, year out, the ACU has managed to keep jihad and sharia off the CPAC schedule.
[. . .]
The Middle East is on fire. ISIS has vowed to commit a jihad attack larger than 9/11 and called on Muslims to murder American civilians. The country is deeply concerned about the jihad issue, and yet it is hardly anywhere on the CPAC schedule, and they’re not allowing me space because I criticized their weakness and flabbiness on this very issue in the past.
[. . .]
CPAC doesn’t deserve the name “Conservative.” It should be called the “Cowards Political Action Conference.”

What US Conservatives Can Learn From Canadians

[From article]
The CBC is a cultural Marxist production that never met a Conservative policy it liked. It sees its mandate as constantly attacking every Conservative idea or piece of legislation while propagandizing on behalf of multiculturalism; Islam as a religion of peace; anti-Zionism; and radical movements such as Occupy Wall Street, Idle No More, and #BlackLivesMatter.
[. . .]
Afraid of giving its foes something to be offended by, the Conservative government funded its own demise.
No less catastrophic, the Conservatives failed to pass legislation to radically protect free speech across the country – legislation that would outrank our provincial kangaroo courts, known as Human Rights Commissions, whose mandate has been to prosecute individual citizens and groups on the flimsy grounds of "hate speech."
[. . .]
this signal failure guarantees that open discussions essential to Canada's future as a robust democracy – especially conversations about mass immigration, Islamic terrorism, and the relation between the two – will continue to be curtailed by the left-leaning proponents of censorship in the name of social "harmony."
[. . .]
Perhaps most damagingly, the Conservatives attempted to fight the election chiefly on the basis of fact and logical argument rather than engaging the passions and patriotic sentiments of the electorate. They were unable to rebut progressivist attacks portraying them as hateful, bigoted, backward, divisive, and exclusionary. They had no vision of Canada to offer that was not simply a less enthusiastic version of the feminist, multicultural, and "diverse" image championed by the other parties.
[. . .]
Canada's Conservatives lost the election in part because they shrank from being truly conservative. Similarly, should the Republicans lose in November 2016, it will be because they failed to be truly republican.

Ethnic Groups, Political Parties Falling Apart

William F. Buckley, Jr. quoting Richard Weaver's definition: "A paradigm of essences toward which the phenomenology of the world is in continuing approximation." is my favorite.
[From article]
City Journal had to my way of thinking a really sound explanation for Trump’s popularity:
What rankles most among workaday white Americans is that, even as their incomes and life expectancies decline, and even as the protections promised in the Fourteenth Amendment are eviscerated in favor of new minority carve-outs, they’re accused of benefitting from “white privilege.” The rise of Ferguson’s Michael Brown and Baltimore’s Freddy Gray -- the first a thug, the second a small-time drug dealer -- as black icons of white oppression, exemplify the perversions of Obama’s America.
[. . .]
[Arthur] Schlesinger’s fears have largely come to pass; we’ve become what he called a “quarrelsome spatter of enclaves.” Schlesinger was too much a part of the elite to imagine that the class he always thought of as representing the best of the future would come to be despised by a broad swath of Americans for its incompetence and ineffectuality. But what Schlesinger saw on the horizon seems to have arrived, with no sign of abating: we are in the midst of a soft civil war."
[. . .]
Washington conservatives -- Cable News Conservatives -- overlook the fundamental principle of conservativism, and that is giving everyone the same opportunity. America is best when she is a capitalistic society that builds railroads and industry. The idea that only career politicians are qualified to hold public office is not conservative.
But this year's election is not about conservativism or liberalism. The survival of the nation is.
[. . .]
a magazine that has supported without question in the general election GHWB, Bob Dole, W twice, McCain and Romney has no business acting as though Trump is so far out of bounds they need a symposium to not just disagree with him, but stop him.
[. . .]
Like the unhealable wound of the Fisher King,
[. . .]

Well Trump is one hell of a competitor and will use fair means or foul to win. The Democrats haven’t seen anything like this in 30 years. And they aren’t going to be up to it.
All they can do is rally the really red and the safely dead, their greedy, illiterate minority base, their vile unions and those desperate for the governmental tit and hope the demographic distribution and their media echo chamber can pull off a victory.
[. . .]
In a sense we are like the blind men trying to describe an elephant. Do we trust the polls, can we really decide who is the most “electable” candidate except by crowd size? What will the candidates do if elected? Surely we know by now that whatever candidates say to win, their promises will be tempered by the facts on the ground at the time. I think voters know this and are more interested in how they view the personal attributes of the candidates. Helmuth Von Moltke the Elder famously noted, “No battle plan ever survives contact with the enemy.” Experience teaches that political promises rarely survive the shifting moods of the electorate and Congress, economic exigencies, and the actions of our enemies.

Sonnie Johnson Reviews 2015

Sonnie Johnson

[From article]
1. “Trans-Racial” — Rachel Dolezal
Everyone was confused when the President of the NAACP’s Spokane, Washington chapter had to admit she was white. We lost even more of our sanity when we where introduced to the term “trans-racial” to explain a person who thinks they were born into the wrong skin. I wonder if that would have worked during slavery?
[. . .]
3. White Privilege — Shaun King
If you thought Rachel Dolezal and “trans-racial” were a hoot, then you have to love the exploits of Shaun King. Let me steal a phrase from Deray. In 2015, Shaun King showed black America how whiteness works — at least white progressivism.
First, latch on to a black cause. Second, let the blacks work while you “report” on the situation. Third, start producing a resume. Fourth, when the money in the movement starts to slow down, take the resume and get a real job. Shaun King is getting paid to write headlines for the New York Daily News, and you are out protesting for free. Now that’s white privilege at work.

8. Another American City Burns — Baltimore
We started 2015 still in disbelief watching Ferguson, Missouri, burn after the killing of Mike Brown. Well some of you were in disbelief because I’ve been warning others for years. When Baltimore, Maryland, started to burn, again everyone feigned disbelief. This was the roughest period of my year.
I feel like a broken record. Conservatives are supposed to be the party that holds leadership accountable. If your so-called “black leaders” in the conservative movement didn’t warn you Ferguson was coming, if they didn’t tell you Baltimore was on the way, if they are sitting next to you wondering what Black Lives Matter is going to do next instead of desperately trying to infiltrate and influence the 90% of black America that doesn’t follow BLM, you will be in disbelief when more American cities burn in 2016.
9. Selling Baby Parts — Planned Parenthood
A string of videos were released showing Planned Parenthood selling baby parts to finance their Lamborghini dreams. The videos were sickening but not enough for Planned Parenthood to be defunded by the Republican Congress… so I guess this is a non-story.
I’ll use this space to say Hillary Clinton’s hero is Margaret Sanger. Sanger believed in eugenics and wanted nothing more than to exterminate inferior people, mostly blacks and Jews. Sanger’s group, now Planned Parenthood, stopped using the term “eugenics” after Hitler slaughtered millions using eugenics as his justification. Notice I only said they stopped using the term — that’s because they continued the practice. Long before abortion was legalized, progressives like Sanger used the pseudo-science of eugenics to pick candidates for forced sterilizations. Hillary Clinton knows this history and still calls Sanger her hero. In 2015, I coined the phrase Hillary Sanger.

Conservatives Question Donald Trump's Conservatism

[From article]
Trump’s style and substance—brazen, unapologetic and quite popular—have upended equanimity on the left, leaving the “public intellectuals” screaming over one another to denounce his absurdity, the effrontery, the horror.
But the fact that the D.C. establishment is fighting Trump’s current rhetoric from the left obscures a more important discussion of whether Trump is truly the man they perceive him to be.
[. . .]

Conservative Republican?

In 2013, conservatives were fighting for dear life to oppose open borders, while Trump was not only supporting the Dream Act, but echoing the liberal politically correct talking points behind it. In August of 2013, he reportedly told a group of illegal aliens, “You have convinced me” of the need to pass the Dream Act.
[. . .]
Is Trump who we think he is on immigration or is he pragmatically trying to tap into a frustration to win the primary with a plan to revert to his original talking points after winning?
[. . .]

Conservative voters are surely left between a rock and a hard place. There is a false choice being offered by talking heads and elected officials in both parties: Either we side with an indignant, if inconsistent, tycoon outsider, or we leave the serious issues in the hands of people who could care less about them and are sure to let us down. This dichotomy taps into the exasperation so many feel with the conservatives already empowered—those who think speeches are a fine enough remedy. You’ll get no argument from Conservative Review that this exasperation is not honest and justified. But is it enough to blind us to the unknowns of a candidate’s principles at a time when principle is what matters most?

Insulting Black Male Conservatives

[From article]
Pretty much all of these personal attacks come from self-described open-minded, inclusive, minority-loving liberal types who cannot see the blatant hypocrisy of their own positions.

The Nastiest Insult to Call a Black Man, According to Liberals

Ann Coulter, Right On Media Distortion, Censorship; Wrong On Psychiatry

Coulter repeats a misguided conclusion every time she argues that a psychiatric diagnosis is causally connected with crime or violence. She may believe it but that does not make it true. Liberals blame guns. Conservatives blame psychiatric diagnoses. She recognizes psychiatrists are unable to distinguish between sanity and insanity. It is an arbitrary standard. Coulter seldom recognizes that psychiatric drugs may be an influence, have a causal connection to crime or violence. If extremist liberals designated her crazy, as many of them do, and sent a psychiatrist to support their concerns. Are there any psychiatrists who would willingly commit her? This argument needs more study as the academics say.

[From article]
The media act as if they’re performing a public service by refusing to release details about the perpetrator of the recent mass shooting at a community college in Oregon. But we were given plenty of information about Dylan Roof, Adam Lanza, James Holmes and Jared Loughner.
Now, quick: Name the mass shooters at the Chattanooga military recruitment center; the Washington Navy Yard; the high school in Washington state; Fort Hood (the second time) and the Christian college in California. All those shootings also occurred during the last three years.

The answers are: Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez, Kuwaiti; Aaron Alexis, black, possibly Barbadian-American; Jaylen Ray Fryberg, Indian; Ivan Antonio Lopez, Hispanic; and One L. Goh, Korean immigrant. (While I’m here: Why are we bringing in immigrants who are mentally unstable?)
There’s a rigid formula in media accounts of mass shootings: If possible, blame it on angry white men; when that won’t work, blame it on guns.
[. . .]

After the fact, scores of psychiatrists are always lining up to testify that the defendant was legally insane, unable to control his actions. That information would be a lot more helpful before the wanton slaughter.
[. . .]

Yes, according to the Treatment Advocacy Center, there are a grand total of 17 psychiatric beds even available, not necessarily being used. In 1955, there were 340.
[. . .]

But I notice that every mass murder is committed by someone who is mentally ill.

American Conservative Union Reacts To Supreme Court Activity

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 26, 2015

ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp on today’s Supreme
Court decision in “Obergefell v. Hodges”:

“The Supreme Court has become unhinged from its purpose…
resolving questions through judicial fiat,” says Schlapp

WASHINGTON DC – “The American people have received two devastating rulings from a Supreme Court that has become unhinged from its purpose. As with other catastrophic decisions, this Court is attempting to resolve through judicial fiat questions appropriately belonging in the hands of the American people. That is the opposite of what our Founders envisioned.

“The Supreme Court under Chief Justice John Roberts has dramatically re-imagined the role of our Judiciary and has empowered the Court to behave as unelected legislators without term limits.

“It should come as no surprise given yesterday’s tragic dismantling of a government of, for, and by the People, that the Roberts Court has moved us farther in the direction of using the Judiciary to serve political ends by disregarding the notion of constitutionality in today’s decision. Sadly, one consequence of this overreach will undoubtedly be growing resentment and rancor around these issues. As in the Roe vs. Wade decision concerning abortion, usurping the will of the people does not resolve conflict, it only extends it.

“The 1st Amendment clearly states that Religious Liberties are protected. However, President Obama and the liberals ignore this protection and seek to dictate what are ‘appropriate’ tenets of faith. Today’s opinion creates the Church of the Supreme Court, with President Obama serving as its High Priest.

“If America is strong enough to live under this decision, then it should be strong enough to protect the rights of sincere and decent people of faith, whose rights are sadly forgotten.”

Mark Levin Urges Democrats To Work With Conservatives To Oust U.S. House Speaker Boehner

[From article]
Last night Mark Levin praised House Conservatives, explaining how they are now threatening to side with Democrats in a vote to oust Boehner from the speakership. They are offering Democrats the ability to use this as leverage in upcoming battles against Boehner, saying they will vote with Democrats to oust him.

Cambridge MA Activists Lament Changing Demography

Attorney Clarey refers to "a democratic process that is on the verge of being derailed by your [the city council's] upcoming vote." Why should Cambridge city government listen to voters? State and federal governments ignore voters and taxpayers as established legal policy. The purpose of government is to govern, not to listen to gentle flowers who whine because they oppose change. Cambridge is an upper class elite city. It will take a while to rid the city of its poor people, but it will be done. Welcome the new wealthy residents. They need housing. Build it so that they can come here to live.

M. Stanton Evans, Obituary

[From article]
“If and when Congress votes on a new immigration bill — whatever the “triggers,” timetables or other provisos — the real issue to be decided will be the same as it has been from the beginning. That issue is whether the Republican Party, dazed from a daily pounding by the Washington press corps, will agree to commit political suicide by enfranchising 11 plus million illegal aliens on U.S. soil, the vast majority of whom will soon be casting Democratic ballots.”
So wrote the great M. Stanton Evans, who passed away on Tuesday. Having been at the forefront of the movement to draft Ronald Reagan and defeat the Evil Empire, Evans had recently turned to the next greatest danger for America: immigration.
[. . .]
After the twice-defeated Reagan spoke to cheering throngs at CPAC in 1977, Evans, who opposed the third-party option, told him, “Governor, we got your message, and I think you got ours.” Reagan ran for president a third time, won the presidency and saved the country.
(One thing you must always remember, right-wingers: Never run the same guy for president three times. Look how that turned out!)
[. . .]
For decades, Stan was tapped to MC every conservative event in Washington because of his dry wit. He wrote beautifully, but avoided humor in his writing, something I attribute to the Yale education. In person, he was effortlessly hilarious, all the time, right up to his dying day — or at least up until two weeks ago when I last talked to him.
[. . .]

my book “Treason: Liberal Treachery From the Cold War to the War on Terrorism,” which liberals denounced on the grounds that I wore short skirts and also that it was insufficiently “scholarly.”
A couple years later, they got “scholarly” — and no short skirts — with Stan’s 600-plus-page opus, “Blacklisted by History: The Untold Story of Senator Joe McCarthy and His Fight Against America’s Enemies.”
[. . .]
Fix it, he said. Make it market-based. Allow competition. Otherwise, some other Democrat would come along and dump socialized medicine on the country.
He was right about that, and he’s right about immigration being the most dangerous threat to America’s survival since the Cold War. Immigration, Stan wrote a few years ago, “is strictly about the votes, and nothing but the votes. All the rest is sham and smokescreen. Obama and his party want their 70 percent of these 11-plus million illegals and will stop at nothing to get it.”
